OX is pretty decent **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2021 **What do you like best about OX Cloud?** I like the fact that, once setup it just seems to work. **What do you dislike about OX Cloud?** For the community edition, there is a bit of pain involved with initially setting it up. There are many steps, but it's possible to succeed with them. **Recommendations to others considering OX Cloud:** There are others in the same market such as kopano and egroupware and stuff, but OX is the best of them. **What problems is OX Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed an all-in-one email/calendar/meeting platform. OX does it. ### 2. The integration with WHMCS is also handy. **What do you dislike about OX Cloud?** Upon activating a clients email, backlists occurred frequently every fortnight. OX via WHMCS actioned these requests but new ones continued to pop up. The client also received more spam than ever before indicating that the OX tool had a poor spam filter, even poorer than the shared hosting environment. In addition, another client faced no emails being sent or received at all. WHMCS confirmed this was an OX outage and no one was able to provide an update for several hours. OX team were relucant to assist nor did they provide any notification as such or way to obtain better support. The issues with this platform have been ongoing. We have wasted time and money since they changed providers for email filter or security. No assurances have been given as to when this will be resolved. Overall, it promises the world and fails to deliver on even basic functionality. We had to escalate to the national sales manager in the end, but still the solution continues to be far from okay. **Recommendations to others considering OX Cloud:** Look at Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) and Microsoft 365 for something more reliable and with some level of support. **What problems is OX Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were hoping to provide clients with a reliable mail and productivity tool to support their small to medium-sized businesses. Unfortunately, these benefits have not been realised due to recent events and poor support. ### 3. It delivers what it promisses. **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Priscila L. | Fine Art Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2019 **What do you like best about OX Cloud?** I use OX App Suite for my professional mailbox and it delivers what it promisses: it's a simple mail / calendar / tasks suite that works seamlessly. **What do you dislike about OX Cloud?** It might seem too basic for those who are used to a complex platform like Gmail, but OX App Suit suits my needs perfectly fine. **Recommendations to others considering OX Cloud:** A simple tool that does the job just fine. **What problems is OX Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use OX App Suite for my professional mailbox and it does the job well: it has always worked fine, I could access my mail whenever I needed with no hassle - which is surprisingly not always the case when you use your own domain and you sign up for smaller private servers. OX App Suite there when I need, which is what I expect. ### 4.
