  ### 8. Effortless Deployments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan S.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

I appreciate OutSystems for its ease of deployment and code promotion. The ease of using the Lifetime tool for code promotion is one of the best aspects of this platform. It allows developers to promote code effortlessly to production, which is beneficial for dedicated engineers handling deployments. The platform's ability to integrate built-in APIs to deploy code nightly to our test environment is a tremendous advantage, as it ensures that our quality team always has access to fresh code, enhancing overall workflow efficiency. Additionally, the initial setup of OutSystems is incredibly easy; in fact, we have been able to handle the installation ourselves for a few clients. This straightforward setup process and robust API deployment capabilities make OutSystems a highly valuable tool for our operations.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

I wish the development environment were more expandable. The search function needs improvement with advanced filtering capabilities, such as the ability to search by action name or within comments alone, to reduce false positives. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have the ability to attach notes to each publishing version to facilitate the rollback process and quickly identify required changes.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use OutSystems to build custom software efficiently, solve warehouse and order management issues, and streamline code deployment, ensuring our team always operates with up-to-date software. It's versatile for integration with tools like ERP systems, Slack, and Jira.

**Official Response from Erin Koerpel:**

> We're glad to hear that you appreciate the ease of deployment and code promotion with OutSystems. Our team is committed to providing a seamless experience for developers, and we're thrilled that you find value in the platform's capabilities, Bryan!

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

I truly appreciate how OutSystems enables us to develop specific sign industry software in-house with a small team, quickly adding features and fixing bugs to keep the software smooth. I love the ability to bring ideas and concepts to production-ready states rapidly, which is crucial in maintaining a competitive edge. Moreover, the low-code environment OutSystems provides is often highlighted as a key benefit by my colleagues, making programming more accessible and reducing development time. The convenience and speed at which we can operate through OutSystems greatly enhance our productivity.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find OutSystems allows us to quickly develop sign industry software with a small team, integrate various platforms, and bring ideas to production efficiently, enhancing workflow management for our customers.

**Official Response from Erin Koerpel:**

  ### 12. Rapid Development, But Room for Improvement in Platform Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sri Rama D.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

I use OutSystems primarily for the development and maintenance of our company's internal software and mobile apps. I appreciate the incredible efficiency and flexibility it offers in terms of speed and reusability, which are major challenges in development. The platform allows me to quickly create different products and test them, significantly enhancing my ability to debug and refine them into more robust offerings. This process is remarkably time-efficient, enabling me to focus more on testing and refining rather than spending excessive time on writing and creating. OutSystems helps ensure my applications are stable before moving to production and facilitates a high rate of development within a shorter timeframe. Additionally, the platform was easy to learn, thanks in part to their certifications and boot camps, which made the onboarding process smooth for me after I joined the company.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

My biggest hurdle with OutSystems is the difficulty in developing between ODC and O11. I've had to build numerous REST APIs to connect these two different platforms, which complicates the development process. Additionally, the user management in ODC is inferior compared to O11. In O11, I have direct access to our production data, whereas in ODC, I do not. This limitation requires me to create an app just to view my production data instead of being able to query it directly.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use OutSystems for developing and maintaining software, benefiting from speed, reusability, and efficient testing processes, which allows for more precise product iteration.

**Official Response from Erin Koerpel:**

> We're so glad to hear that OutSystems has been able to significantly enhance your development process, Sri Rama! We are constantly working to improve our platform integration and user experience, and your input is valuable in helping us identify areas for enhancement.
