The implementation was easy, but if we ever neeed to make changes, it will be challenging. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** ADP org chart functionality is very difficult to use, has limited features including export options, and employees are limited in being able to see up and down the chain. We also like being able to secure the data by role to ensure no sensitive information is seen by the wrong people. We also like that you can export to editable powerpoints. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** The implemenation process was very disorganized and the person helping us seemed to be inconvienenced by our requests. He provided no agenda of things we should be ready to discuss on the call, didn't seem to remember requirements we brought to his attention, and seemed unwilling to set things up outside our meeting times resulting in us wasting time watching him trying to figure out things during the call. The training on how the software works didn't happen until the very end of the implementation. This would have been 100% more useful during the very first meeting so we could understand how the system worked and what things we should be thinking about to configure. I would say lots of stuff was only mentioned at the end in training and we were not even given the option to configure it during the implementation. Finally, all of the help guides are out of date. The instructions and screenshots are from a prior interface and are not helpful. If switching user interfaces, you need to roll out the updated support documentation at the same time. Right from implementation till the platform being live, Jacob and Francois were super committed, helpful, supportive and cooperative. They were very patient in answering our questions, and they invested a lot of time and effort to customize the product for our organization; thanks to how dynamic and versatile their product is. The cost of this software was one fourth of the competing vendors and their product features outweighed all other comparable products. On top of that, the implementation team was super fast and approachable - everything was set up within a week. In terms of the product, its very very easy to use and is very dynamic. We have different views setup, including one with a very large font size, to make it more accessible for everyone. Its also very easy to update them. They had an API ready to be synced with our Dayforce system so everything gets updated in real-time. Last but not the least, the post-implementation experience is AWESOME! The support team responds in a span of hours and is always there to provide assistance via zoom meetings whenever needed. Overall, I would rate them 11/10. We are very very happy to get their product for the Royal Ontario Museum. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** Honestly, can't think of anything at the moment. They are very pro-active about adding new features to the product, and take feedbac =k really seriously. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1) Very beneficial for headcount planning and human resource management; the layout of the charts makes it very easy to see talent gaps and assess the chain of command/span of control. 2) Super helpful for budgeting and forecasting both for Finance and HR department. 3) Smooth integration/sync with other systems in the organization. ### 6. As an Administrator of our account, I appreciate the implementation team going above and beyond to help us achieve our goal. In addition to the one-on-one help from the implementation team, the extensive documentation that OrgChart offers will allow us to enhance our charts as time goes on without requiring us to arrange for assistance. The documentation is both comprehensive and easy to follow. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** Every system has its limitations and OrgChart is no different. We would like some additional fields of data from our HR system (Dayforce) to be included in the integration role and we were required to create a large number of calculated fields in order to complete the views we wanted to share. A "Copy" feature within the fields and formula's section would be a good addition to the product and would save a good amount of time. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our Core HR system does not allow for custom branding of its delivered org chart features. I like the planning aspect where it can integrate dotted line, you can import data (we have a team in Asia), and it's super helpful in workforce planning. I enjoy how many versions we can execute, as well as the function to automate the orgchart distribution at a specific cadence! Once our company signed up via a contract, we were immediately connected with Francois to help us set up our org chart main page and get it to look the way we needed it to look. He is very patient with all your questions and is able to show you step by step what to do to achieve what you are looking to do within your org chart. It was very easy to intergrate information and this will be used by many to see what the org sturcture looks like, so this will be used frequently. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** While I am still new to using OrgChart, I haven't come across anything that we haven't ben able to do. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have multiple sites globally. They are helping give visability not only per site but also globally. Custom links were populated so that we can go directly to any user's org structure directly from their profile page. Our company does a lot of mergers & acquisition work, so the ability to fit potential new employees into our existing structure to better understand workload and budget is invaluable. We had Orgchart previously and when we moved to a new HR system that had an org chart built in, we didn't renew our subscription. After only a month or so we realized how handy OrgChart was and how much more capability it had than the basic HR system and we reinstated our account pretty quickly. The implementation went very smoothly and the account reps we worked with were very helpful. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** I do wish it were a little more user friendly. Navigating through and exporting current charts is super easy, but some of the planning and formatting just isn't incredbily intuative. The support team is great at helping you along the way, but there are a few other things I wish newer/more green users could figure out on their own. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm asked on a regular basis to provide views of each different part of our organization at a moments notice. Without having OrgChart, it would be an incredibly manual and time consuming task to recreate for each ask/with changes in the company. We were able to utilize our brand colors in charts making them look seemless with other products we use. At times when I couldn't quite figure out how to do something, I have been able to review materials to figure things out on my own and when I've had to reach out to support they are quick to respond and resolve my issues (typically within a few hours max). We have a connection via ADP Work Force Now, so implementation was easy. We have not experienced any significant issues with downtime and our entire company has access to view and find colleagues. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** I wish that reports that can be pulled from OrgChart into Excel always had the columns in the same position. Currently every time I run an Excel report (I do this once a week), the columns are always in a different order causing me to have to reformat it for my needs. It would be lovely if in the search function we could use other data like employee number to search for an employee. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a complex organizational structure due to industry regulations. Many products simply couldn't assist us in making a chart that works for our industry regulators, so we were using Visio and creating it ourselves, but this was so timeconsuming and difficult to maintain. With OrgChart, we spend very little time maintaining the product as it works seemlessly. We found an added benefit that helps us too. OrgChart uses a Person ID from ADP. This person ID isn't visible to us within ADP, but instead runs in the background. Because several of our other vendors like this ID, we now run a report from OrgChart to pull this field down and upload it to a custom field in ADP so that we have it when other vendors ask us questions. **Official Response from Andrew Zimmerman:** > Thank you for sharing about your experience with OrgChart, [add name]! These features are big time savers. **What do you dislike about OrgChart?** I am not the biggest fan of some of the backend editing. It can be a little tricky to figure out how to use it. For instance, we have a couple of dotted line reports that the programming for how to show this was very tricky. Also, the customer service always seems annoyed that you are bothering them. We were just told we needed to upgrade and were sold that if we canceled our current and subscribed to the new version that it would be a easy streamlined transition and that was not the case. We got treated as a brand new implementation and the implementation person, while he tried to be nice, was not good at explaining anything. **What problems is OrgChart solving and how is that benefiting you?** This solves the problem of having to manually create org charts that we previously did in Visio and would take several hours to complete. This saves us time and assures that org charts can be updated weekly rather than monthly or quarterly. ### 18. Our data flows from ADP to OrgChart instantly! I have worked in HR for a long time and I have always dreaded org charts.
