If you have oracle products which are really old...highly recommended to use oci. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Oracle Database Cloud Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am not an actual user if oci but I do compete with oci quite often. I have oci giving customers tje ease of running their legacy softwares built on oracle quite comfortably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Oracle database cloud is a great product. We have been very happy that we chose Oracle Cloud for Data Management and Analytics platform and moved the environment into the New Bare Metal Cloud service and have been highly impressed with the increased performance and it is easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Minor 'nice to have' features of a traditional database are not in ADW, such as support for APEX. This is a road map item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i have not seen many downsides, although with giving the autonomy to the application teams or developers comes the responsibility of ensuring they keep up with the life cycle management of their database platform. they know how to ensure their database is backed up and is following best practises for performance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In Chile, we still have issues with access to high-speed networks, and I believe that Larry's announcement regarding the creation of a new data center in Chile will be excellent news not only for the IT world but also for the country's development in all the challenges we expect as a society.
