I previously worked on its predecessor platform Oracle ATG, which was an ecommerce platform ahead of its time, both powerful and feature-rich. Oracle Commerce Cloud is an abstract version of Oracle ATG in terms of maintenance or lead time to go to market. The platform no doubt is a headless platform. However, it is inconvenient for a developer to start thinking in APIs for a simple task like adding a new field or a complex task like uploading a file.
