I like using Optimizely Opal for generating blog posts, campaign briefs, and product descriptions. It's great for not only content creation but also SEO search optimization. I find it really useful for analytics and reporting, where we can turn data into actionable insights and reports. The personalization features help us move beyond the one-size-fits-all campaign style and target different audiences and industries with AI-generated content variations. More I use it, more I find that it still makes a lot of mistakes and someone with little experience of Optimizely's products would not pick up on them. I recently found out that it makes recommendations that don't always exist in the UK which can be quite frustrating but also time consuming to actually get to the bottom of what Opal is suggesting only to realise that this product doesn't work in the UK market. I found some validation errors or mismatched instance IDs while using Optimizely Opal. It would be better if they didn’t require developer intervention but rather offered a plug-and-play experience. We are currently in the onboarding process and just received a demo on the capabilities recently. So I have not actually dabbled in Opal too much. But based on the demo, I really enjoyed the capabilities to help write marketing briefs based on the content we load into Opal. As an admin, I also like the capability to create campaigns and tasks based on the information in the brief. I love the unified marketing calendar in Optimizely Opal because it eliminates scheduling confusion and gives me a complete view of campaign scheduling. The idea builder actually pulls from real page data instead of generic suggestions, which is nice. I use Optimizely Opal for digital A/B testing. I like that it's easy to build test variants with Opal. One thing I really appreciate is that you don't need an advanced degree in statistics to understand the results, because Opal interprets them for you.
