## About Oponeko
Oponeko is school management software built for Nigerian schools. It brings admissions, student records, attendance, timetables, results and report cards, fees and invoicing, school accounting, and parent communication into one platform, so proprietors, principals, bursars and teachers work from the same up-to-date information. Schools can take admission applications online, mark attendance and scan ID cards at the gate, generate class and exam timetables with AI clash checks, and send fee invoices with online payment and clear records of who has paid. Parents and students get their own portal and mobile app for results, fees and school updates, with announcements also sent through WhatsApp, SMS and email. Role-based access and an activity log keep each staff member's view limited to what they need. Every plan includes setup, data import and staff training.
