With simply the cost of a co-located server (or dedicated home/office resources), and a little technical know-how, you can immerse yourself in a fully creative sandbox where your imagination is the only barrier. **What do you dislike about OpenSimulator?** At least in my experience, there is no massively active community to explain setup and configuration in human language. If you are contimplating creating your own virtual world using OpenSim, you really kind of need to know your stuff on the tech side of things, however there have been some layer 2 solutions to make things a bit more friendly. **Recommendations to others considering OpenSimulator:** Before setting up, using, and testing OpenSimulator, it would be advantageous to ensure such a platform meets your requirements. The easiest way to do this is to give Second Life a try, which it was solely based on. You can do a lot within Second Life without spending a dime, and if you find that the collaboration tools within it meet your needs, self-hosting a virtual world that your organization fully controls with the same level of technology is possible with Open Simulator. **What problems is OpenSimulator solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mostly appoach OpenSimulator from a hobbyist perspective at the moment, however it has great potential to connect people in both text and voice aspects in a more tangible way. In an age where "work from home" is now the normal, OpenSimular is a great way to self host a way to collaborate within an organization in a more human way with a fully interactive 3D environment. ### 2. With the help of OpenSimulator we will have virtually screen to design and customized according to our user interface. It is cost cutting simulator. **What do you dislike about OpenSimulator?** I felt that it require knowledge of OpenSimulator to start working virtually on our screen. It could be better by giving some handy knowlege transfer to use easily. **What problems is OpenSimulator solving and how is that benefiting you?** If we have to change in our interface of user account by using simulator we reduced the cost of hardware that is require. It can be accessable to anywhere virtual. ### 3. It's a new experience that give us a lot of posibilities to grow in our company. We can create all that we imagine in 3D. We want to give to our customers the oportunity to play with the virtual reality like if they stay with us. **What do you dislike about OpenSimulator?** It's a new tool and new technology taht you need to learn. The first contact with the tool maybe it's hard to know but when you spend hours you fall in love with this tool and all the posibilities that you have in your hand, it's the future and you need to work hard. **Recommendations to others considering OpenSimulator:** If you love the virtual reality or 3d escenarios this is the best tool that you can imagine. You can change all that you have in 2D to 3D, you can create mobile applications, games... **What problems is OpenSimulator solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a bed bank company and we need to show to our customers all the hotels that we have available, in the past we can show our hotels via web with pictures, but now we work in the posibilty that the customer see all the hotels we have with a virtual tour, they can experience the hotel but in there home, tehy can see the swimming pool, the rooms, the restaurants...we want that our customers experience the hotel before they go.
