It is easy to filter by type or date of evidence within your prompt. Answers are presented in plan English, with graphics as appropriate, which makes them easy to incorporate as part of my workflow even during busy periods. The user interface is straightforward, intuitive, and easily lets me organize my queries by either topic, patient, or visit history. The addition of a customizable AI scribe is invaluable and places OpenEvidence at the top of its category. **What do you dislike about OpenEvidence?** The Community feature feels underdeveloped, in part because it is a newer feature. The social networking aspects of the program could be expanded to increase opportunities for professional connections (i.e., similar to LinkedIn). OpenEvidence also lags slightly behind its competitors in consistency of information- there have been times that I've posed the same query twice and received differing information. **What problems is OpenEvidence solving and how is that benefiting you?** OpenEvidence saves time and energy by browsing peer-reviewed publications and drawing the most relevant information from them, saving wasted time in locating and poring through journals. This allows me to focus my attention primarily on patient care and related administrative tasks, while feeling comfortable that I am basing treatment decisions on validated evidence. ### 2. I appreciate that it is HIPAA-compliant, cites sources, and the UI continues to improve. This is a wonderful product to be able to use, and it is worth investing in. **What do you dislike about OpenEvidence?** The software's ability to handle pt context and build on it using the patient function is poor and clunky. The organization and search features are overall primitive but have improved. **What problems is OpenEvidence solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to more easily summarize peer-reviewed medical literature and use those summaries to explore the literature further. Its more recent improvements discussing strength of evidence and its ability to build pt handouts, or the initial structure/content of them is also helpful. ### 3. I also appreciate how it gives easy access to the sources used so I can check the original article. I have not used the scribe feature much but it is a great add on to information about various conditions. **What do you dislike about OpenEvidence?** When asking follow-up questions, the sources listed at the bottom can make it harder to review information earlier in the chat. Having a drop-down bar to hide the citations at the bottom could be helpful **What problems is OpenEvidence solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to ask questions and follow up questions instead of digging through articles or up to date. ### 4. Helps to fill in potential blind spots and differential diagnoses.
