For me, the value is pretty good. As a student, I mostly use Prism for working on research papers, so having the LaTeX editor and AI help in the same place is useful. Coming from a local TeX setup, dropping the compile-check-fix loop entirely was the biggest single time save - I write, glance right, and keep going. The built-in AI chat sitting directly under the editor is the part I didn't expect to lean on so much. Instead of tabbing out to look up package syntax or fix a cryptic compile error, I ask in-context and it already knows the document I'm working in.
