Open Source Physics is an open-source Java software project for teaching and studying physics.

## Open Source Physics Reviews
  ### 1. Learn about Physics with guidance system

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marbelis S. | Software Development and Evaluate Performance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Open Source Physics?**

Dissemination of information for the knowledge of Physics at all levels, stable system and search for authors.
Publish different magazine and relevant information on current issues.

**What do you dislike about Open Source Physics?**

System limited to small institutions, you need more investment in advertising and a more attractive graphical interface for our users.

**Recommendations to others considering Open Source Physics:**

Emulate and execute custom code and evaluate direct code with specific formulas.

**What problems is Open Source Physics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simulation and response to detail on system code and specific mathematical computation formulas.

  ### 2. A very complete library of simulations of different topics and areas

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesús F. | Profesor Agregado (Nivel 3), Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Open Source Physics?**

It has a good amount of simulations, programs and links to other tools, but it is better known for having excellent numerical simulation libraries, for modeling to generate Java code automatically, for video analysis programs, resources for teaching-learning and other area. It can be used in institutional libraries or in collaboration with the sponsoring institutions.

**What do you dislike about Open Source Physics?**

Despite being a genuine and very complete library, I think it should have more impact, more publicity to be recognized and even be expanded, especially in the area of computing and related sciences. It is not well known in institutions of university education in Latin America, so it is recommended to disseminate them, especially through social networks.

**Recommendations to others considering Open Source Physics:**

It is really recommended to use it for the search of different scientific simulations and waiting for it to expand its range of action and repositories of simulations and other tools

**What problems is Open Source Physics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed me to see, validate and explain several simulations in the area of my competence, computer science (computation), and apply them in some of my subjects
