**What do you like best about Onwards HR?**

From a usability standpoint, the Onwards platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, even when managing complex severance events. The interface is thoughtfully designed, making it straightforward to move between workflows, review employee data, and involve multiple stakeholders without feeling overwhelmed. This ease of navigation reduces friction in time‑sensitive situations and allows teams to focus on decision‑making rather than figuring out how to use the system.

**What do you dislike about Onwards HR?**

As with any evolving platform, some functionality continues to mature. At times, certain workflows—such as document generation, reporting, or integrations—require additional clarification or manual follow‑up. While this can be challenging in time‑sensitive situations, the Onwards team is highly responsive and works quickly to address issues and provide solutions.

**What problems is Onwards HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onwards HR helps us solve the challenge of managing complex, high‑risk severance and offboarding processes that were previously manual, fragmented, and difficult to coordinate across teams. The platform provides structure, visibility, and governance around severance events, allowing HR, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Workforce teams to work from a single source of truth.
It supports timely and accurate execution in areas where precision matters most—such as payroll coordination, leave status management, document generation, and severance package calculations—reducing risk and minimizing downstream impacts. Easy to implement with a fantastic team to partner with. This product has streamlined our separation notices and keeps us compliant.

I don't have any dislikes about OnwardsHR

**What problems is Onwards HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Onwards HR, our team had to manually track separations, create separation notices, and send them out to employees. We no longer have to include this in our day-to-day since Onwards HR has automated this for us.

**What do you like best about Onwards HR?**

My company has been using OnwardsHR for over 2 years and I am a huge advocate of their solutions and highly recommend any HR practitioner to consider it for their organization.    Our implementation experience was fantastic and the team has treated us as true partners for any needs that have come up since.   Leveraging the technology to automate offboarding has significantly reduced the time to manage any elements of the offboarding process, minimized costs related to completing adverse impact and WARN analysis, and has reduced the administrative burden while also ensuring we remain compliant and following legal requirements.

**What do you dislike about Onwards HR?**

I haven't come across anything I've disliked about the solution.

**What problems is Onwards HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating the streamlining the offboarding process.  The solution has saved the company substantial time and costs associated with offboarding.  It's highly configurable and the supported our needs.

**What do you like best about Onwards HR?**

We had a very short time frame to get everything up and running and Onwards HR completed everything with time to spare!  Even with changes and last minute decisions - the Onwards HR team is very responsive and accurate.

**What do you dislike about Onwards HR?**

Really, there's nothing to add here at the moment.  The team has been very responsive with any reporting or new configurations that are not already in production.

**What problems is Onwards HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company had a very manual process for all severance agreements which lead to mistakes and a poor experience for not only the HR teams but for those impacted.  Onwards HR helped us solve for the "ease" of a platform while also benefiting the impacted employees with accurate and on-time agreements.

**What do you like best about Onwards HR?**

The Onwards HR system joined many of our individual offboarding tasks into one easy-to-use system.  The checklists are awesome and keep us honest! The system is intuitive, and the customer support has been very timely.  As a result, our productivity has increased.

**What do you dislike about Onwards HR?**

There have been no downsides thus far.  I look forward to future enhancements already in the works that will only improve upon the positive attributes noted previously.

**What problems is Onwards HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are several moving parts with various stakeholders during the offboarding process.  Onwards HR has replaced several manual and time-consuming processes for our company.

Onwards HR has helped us automate and streamline our severance process.  They are fantastic partners willing to make additional changes and enhancements to meet our needs.  A truly "blue ocean" offering in the marketplace!

**What do you dislike about Onwards HR?**

Onwards HR is continuing to enhance its platform.  They have been transparent about what is coming and when.  It's been great to see the continued evolution of the product.

**What problems is Onwards HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onwards HR has helped us created an automated and streamlined severance process.  It allows us to focus more on the employee experience in their exit versus the administration.  The severance is calculating automatically within the system and creates the severance agreements dynamically.  It's been powerful to use for both Reduction In Force and Individual Separation Agreements (ISA).

The Onwards Team excels in providing an innovative product that focuses on client needs.   They are responsive, collaborative, and very knowledgeable in the Human Resources field.  They continue to partner with our organization to meet our ever-evolving goals and priorities.

I have not experienced anything to dislike about Onwards after working with this team for over 4 years.  They are extremely professional, responsive and a pleasure to work with!

Schedule a consultation to see how they can improve efficiency in your termination processes.

**What problems is Onwards HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have improved the overall efficiency of processing our RIFs.   Their product captures all documents and decisions, ensures consistency, and the reporting functionality is robust.  The time to fully process a RIF has significantly decreased, so our teams can focus on other priorities.  It also assists with compliance requirements such as WARN analysis.

I have never had a negative experience working with the Onwards HR team. They are accommodating and supportive. Their professional outlook, responsiveness, and problem-solving make it a delight to collaborate with this team.

This product simplified the RIF process and reduced manual intervention for our company. It automated workflow, calculation, and severance package distribution, significantly improving efficiency and effectiveness.

Onwards HR has helped us when we had changes that required modifications.  They collaborated with us to come up with a new notification process.

**What do you dislike about Onwards HR?**

We have not found anything to dislike, they have been great to work with and have helped our processes and reduced administrative burden.

They help us analyze and stay compliant by reviewing our talent pools when we need to make reductions and they helped us execute on furloughs (during COVID).

Having to lay off employees is never easy and Onwards has helped make an already difficult situation much easier from an implementation stand point. It's been one stop to handle all of our documentation.
