I like how easy it is to use the platform to set up the employee schedule. It is user friendly and easy to navigate. I appreciate being able to pull reports on overtime which saves me the time from logging on to the payroll system. I like there is a mobile app available even though it does not have all the capabilities of the actual website. I think it is also great for communicating with staff because you can send individual and group messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about OnShift? There are two main things i don't like about OnShift. I don't like the limited capabilities of the app from a mobile device because i can not see my actual schedule. The app is only good for retrieving staff phone numbers. If I need to see my schedule or make any edits to my staffs schedule, i have to log onto the computer because it is not possible to do on a mobile device. When replying to messages, it is quite bothersome because you must reply to the specific code that is sent rather than simply replying by hitting the send button. I wish they would fix that feature so that it would be more easy to respond to messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering OnShift: I would add more features to the mobile app since right now it is very limited and just allows users to use the staff directory. I like how it prompts me every time i'm about to schedule an employee into overtime. The system offers me alternative staff to schedule instead.
