It makes me feel really good about myself when I complete a task, and just by doing missions we can have trees planted in our company forests to help the environment. The customer support seems easy enough to use. **What do you dislike about onHand?** It seems a little cluttered on the discovery page so you could easily miss things. I think it would be good to have it as a live feed like social media so that you can scroll down through tasks that are new. OnHand has an action for everyone, so that we can all do better for our community and ultimately feel better. Also, the app itself is very intuitive and has lots of positive reinforcement to encourage continuous engagement. **What do you dislike about onHand?** There perhaps aren't as many in-person volunteering activities as I expected but this could also be due to them being snapped up quickly in my area! Apart from that, I am really happy with OnHand especially since the rebrand and upgrades to the desktop site which resolved any interface issues that i previously had. **What problems is onHand solving and how is that benefiting you?** Onhand is engaging our staff with volunteering and environmental pledges which make small but beneficial changes that are ultimately measurable and we hope to report on some day. Most of the missions are small and realistic, with shorter time frames. There is a variety of missions available and you can even add your own. **What do you dislike about onHand?** The app needs some work to iron out the glitches and make it a better user experience. It took weeks for the comany to get registered so we could start using the app and in the meantime we were still getting reminders about signing up to missions. A few of the missions are very unclear and I am not sure what exactly I need to do. For example, Plant Power doesn't atually set a clear goal. I'm assuming it means eat a vegan meal? So I have to interpret the missions in my own way. Plus, I have sent a couple of emails to OnHand but never received a response. Also the FAQs are not specific or helpful enough. Just asks you to contact them. **What problems is onHand solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solves no business problems, but helps us to care for the environment as a team in a more regular way if used properly. We use a lot of electricity in our job and a few of us fly often for work so planting trees helps to cancel that out. ### 13. It's great and easy to use to choose soemthing to do and complete it. It's a fantastic idea. **What do you dislike about onHand?** I do feel their web logins are still a work in progress for those that find it easier to see things on a larger screen. **What problems is onHand solving and how is that benefiting you?** onHand is addressing a multitude of issues. From keeping count on wildlife to making your carbon footprint smaller, to just being a nice person and helping the people in your neighbourhood. E.g. talking to a lonely person. Donating food, blood, time etc. Others are easy to achieve ECO tasks like half-filling the kettle or running the dishwasher on ECO. While important, they don't compare to the personal impacts of the OnHand app I was expecting. It feels bad when donating food to a charity awards the same number of points as not filling the kettle. **What problems is onHand solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's solving the ability for someone to quickly find out if there are remote opportunities to help someone. ### 42. A colourful app that's engaging, it contains lots of volenteering missions. I'm not aware of any competitor apps to comment on how they differe but I'm pleased with what I see with On Hand **What do you dislike about onHand?** My only critisiam is lack of clear info before you commit to a mission or ability to either favourite a mission rather than accepting it (so yo can go back later and see if you can do it). I had to cancel one mission as it was an online trainng and the date and time didn't suit me in the end. Many missions sound appalling but I want to think on before committing to a mission. **What problems is onHand solving and how is that benefiting you?** Engaging our staff with the local community and further, allowing them to help others and improve their own mental health. Introducing them to areas of volunteering they may never have thought about or known how to join. ### 43. I wanted to do a solo litter-pick in my local community. I scrolled through all the eco missions and eventually found a mission that matched called 'solo eco clean'. To me that wasn't really immediately descriptive of what the mission was - it could equally be describing swapping out ecolgically harmful household cleaning products for eco alternatives. It would be good if key words or alternative descriptions could be searchable, for example so that putting 'litter pick' into a mission search would bring up 'solo eco clean'. **What problems is onHand solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to demonstrate to potential clients in procurement tenders that we have a measurable CSR impact. Keeping up morale in a team - we are all remote, so having something like this to collaborate on is excellent. ### 46.
