I like that the app has a selection of visual backgrounds, background music, typing sounds and different typefaces to choose from. My favourite thing about OmmWriter is that it transports me to a different place. I've found this helpful for creative writing where I need to enter a different and less busy headspace to be successful. OmmWriter does a good job of creating a calming and flow-like writing experience that removes the fear of a blank page. **What do you dislike about OmmWriter?** The overall feel of the product as a user doesn't quite match the marketing. The UI within the word processing part of the product feels very basic, with a resizable text box and small icons on the sidebar to change the background, music, sounds, and typefaces. The price of this tool is not expensive, but I did leave feeling a bit disappointed. The different options for customising your writing experience get boring quite quickly. It would be great if the team decided to invest in making the writing experience feel as sleek as the overall branding. Having a broader option of backgrounds and sounds would also be helpful. I often draft up creative work in OmmWriter and would really benefit from integrations with other drafting tools instead of just an upload/download button. **What problems is OmmWriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** The tool helps me find focus and settle into the flow of writing more easily than a regular word processing tool. The drafting experience is clean, minimal, and takes up the whole screen, so it's also helped me eradicate distractions in my work. ### 2. I even have it permanently added to my ribbon on my Mac so that I can easily pull it up whenever I have to focus and write an important email, draft an academic assignment, or even experiment with a creative writing project. The features are simple and are ones that you will actually use, like adjusting the background image and sound. There aren't any frills that make it difficult to master or distracting. **What do you dislike about OmmWriter?** I wish that there were a few more backgrounds, but that is a very minor issue. When I downloaded Omm Writer, it was provided on a donation basis but I don't know if they still have this model. **Recommendations to others considering OmmWriter:** OmmWriter's best feature is its simplicity and its ability to help you concentrate on actual writing. I would recommend checking out their website because they have a free trial that you can test out before actually downloading/purchasing OmmWriter. **What problems is OmmWriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Writer's block is real. When working on academic projects, creative projects, and work projects, I have personally found OmmWriter a very helpful tool for getting tasks done on time with minimal distraction. ### 3. writing and concentration **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** sandra a. | MY EXPERIENCE IN PROCESSMARKER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2019 **What do you like best about OmmWriter?** I really like the application because it presents a good interface between the computer and the user since it opens in full screen mode and also this app has a natural environment where one can relax and write in a fluid and effective way because of the concentration that It generates, free of distractions so as I personally love writing this does not distract me and find a direct connection between what I am thinking and writing and at the same time this is more efficient and makes the writing flow, for your funds to put a mind in which is only concentrated on the writing and the sounds generated by the application. **What do you dislike about OmmWriter?** For the moment in the application I have not found something that I dislike **Recommendations to others considering OmmWriter:** 260/5000 if you like to write OmmWriter is the application that you must acquire in order to be able to let each word flow easily and simply, since it avoids any distraction that may have at the time of writing and makes you concentrate for a better writing. **What problems is OmmWriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** I usually had concentration problems in writing, since I like to write a lot but sometimes because of the notifications that appear on the computer and other things so that I was not completely focused, that is why Ommwriter has helped me with the concentration of writing and makes everything flow more easily and simply by not presenting distractions open the application in full screen and make the user feel concentrated at the time of writing, definitely I do recommend OmmWriter ### 4.
