**What do you like best about Omeda?**

I use Omeda to host images for the eblasts I create for my company. And Omeda makes it incredibly easy to host images. If i've already hosted a particular image Omeda makes it easy to search for that image so I dont have to upload it again.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

I use omeda to host images for my company's eblasts and sometimes when I upload the image when it upload it doesnt show me the url so then i need to go below to the search bar and search for it. It must be a bug but it happens once and awhile but for as long as I've been using Omeda.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We host are images through Omeda, and its so easy to find images ive already used and not have to upload again!

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

I like that Omeda will allow us to to send a PDF to print through their system, thus incorporating a Digital + Print offering which doesn't seem to be duplicated.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

The system is so clunky, expensive, and archaic that it begs the question: "Why are we paying this much and can something else do it better."
I'd like updated UX, enhanced integration with systems other than through Zapier. A reasonable pricing model.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omeda solves a problem we have with automating email based on segmented lists and drawing from and managing a large database. It is a robust tool that most of our staff sincerely do not fully appreciate or understand. It is not intuitive.

Omeda is incredibly efficient and is easy to navigate overall. Along with it being a great platform, our CSM is wonderful and is always making things happen if we need help with anything - including any last minute requests.

Sometimes it takes a bit of time to load.

Not a fan of the query storing- I feel like it gets messy with our team redoing queries or duplicating without knowing. And being able to exclude more within a voyage would be nice

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

The Omeda team is a group of experts within Omeda who understand the challenges of media and publishing. Plus, they create a community among their clients and we have opportunities to share our challenges and solutions.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

Lack of consistency/continuity in customer service. I wish we had a team of resources familiar with our products who would consistently work on our issues. While the ticket system is a necessary evil, there are times I would like to pick up the phone to talk through a problem rather than figure out how to explain it in writing.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Growing our audience by converting anonymous website visitors into knowns. Accumulating behavioral data across multiple products. Providing insights for our editorial teams that results in better content for our audience; providing insights for our customers that creates unique value, enhances our relationships and generates revenue.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

What I find more helpful when it comes to Omeda is having conferences and conversations like the ones here at OX5. I also find our CSM Andreja to be super helpful in moving our projects along the pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

With all the latest products and features that Omeda comes out with, it would be beneficial to have those explained to us by a CSM rather than a newsletter. I find it's helpful for those features to be spoken to us, instead of assuming we know of new enhancements.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are tackling the conversion of unknown to known traffic on our website with webhooks that are embedded in a CredSpark quiz. This is a problem that we have been trying to complete for some time.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

Omeda is highly user-friendly, and its customer service is excellent.  We can combine all of our databases in one place and get the results that we need.  I love being able to go in and get real-time data without having to do a ton of manual work.

There are a few things that Omeda doesn't do that would make life easier for our company based on what we do and what we need.  The good thing is that Omeda is always open to new ideas and finding ways to solve any issues.

We are solving our clients' problems by using the data from Omeda.  We can be proactive in solving clients' problems by utilizing the data and the many different marketing options Omeda has.

Omeda offers drag and drop email editor functionality that requires zero coding to personalize marketing emails.

It offers all the tools that I require but it lacks video conferencing feature, which is acquired through integration.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

The Audience Builder is a great tool that provides lots of ways to find out more about the audiences I need to build and who I need to target most. I like how easy the email builder is to use and deploy.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

We have a lot of duplicate records that seem hard to merge - that may be more my problem than Omeda's though. At times the system runs slowly and crashes while we're working which can be very frustrating.

We are working on how best to keep people coming back and give us more info. There are lots of ways to accomplish tihis.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

Personal relationships are key. Cross-promotion from account managers as to what other clients are doing and how they are using Omeda tools is incredibly helpful for all all aspects of our business.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

I'm still not a fan of the overall Jira ticket system.  Having an account rep who knows the ins and outs of our business was very useful; having to put in a Jira ticket for every problem we face is cumbersome due to the lack of specific historical knowledge of our brands.  It almost feels like we have to over-explain or train the reps.  On a positive note, looking up old tickets has been helpful.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving product fulfillment in the most efficient way. We currently benefit from the universal database but might expand a bit of that. I've enjoyed the relationship and look forward to continuing it.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

Organize your subscription databases for print products, e-newsletters and websites and maintain opt-ins/opt-outs to your specifications.  They also mail eblasts, website personalizations and email journeys to help monetize and increase your subscription database.  They also have powerful search and sorting functions to help drill down into your database.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

Some of their systems are overcomplicated and can take a while to learn how to use them correctly.  When we use their programers to create forms for us there can be many rounds of changes, and it often takes longer than it should.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all of our subscription databases together allows us to learn more about our readers and how to serve them better.  We have been able to connect and merge to our separate lists and learn more about what our readers like and respond to on different formats.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

We love the fact that our multi-pub database is easy to query on many different levels. The Customer Search option is easy and displays all the necessary information broken down by publication and demos. The Odyssey is a wonderful function to promote our products.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

Form Builder and Data loader is a bit challenging. It would be nice to have a much user friendly way to set up forms. It would also be great to be able to load subscription files via Data Loader.

Currently, we are working with Omeda on finding a solution to load our Canadian Post Office Return files .

The thing I like best about Omeda is the Audience Builder tool. I like all the different tools we can use to personalize queries and find the right audience we are aiming for.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

The thing I dislike about Omeda is how slow it is on some days. My projects often involve using Audience builder and sometimes it takes 5+ minutes to load one query.

The problem I am solving with Omeda is finding the right audience to send our e-newsletters to. If the e-newsletters are not going to the right audience, then they are not doing their job and spreading important news.

My favorite part of Omeda is the oydssey capabilities. I love how many different options there are to engage with the audience and how low effort it is once a campaign is set up. We've seen great results and have really elevated our communication processes.

My least favorite part about Omeda is audience builder only because I think training around it could be made easier.

For us, the customer experience of working with the Omeda team has been great. Our rep, Whitney, has been so great with our team and helped us with anything that we were wanting to do with the platform. Even though we aren't always using all of the features that Omeda offers, we also really like the feature set and database components.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

Dragon Forms is probably the least helpful component, just because of the user interface and the difficulty of bringing forms from beginning to completion without extra help and development.

We're continuing to solve problems around email engagement and trying to deepen our knowledge of our audience as we collect information from them. We're also just beginning to tap into the capabilities in the platform around personalizations and using user info to conditionally display information.

We've been a partner of Omeda for almost three years and this is my second OX event. I'm amazed at the level of speakers, the production quality of the event, and the overall atmosphere of the event. There's equal parts emphasis on education for the industry and entertainment for their clients. Looking forward to next year!

I would recommend expanding the success stories sessions with more metrics, data, and time for the individual speakers during that particular session.

Audience builder is a really intuitive and user-friendly way to query within our database for engaged and niche demographics. The odyssey functionality is also similarly intuitive and easy to use with so many different options to select from.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

Form builder is a tough one to use and understand on one's own. The dragon forms seem quite finicky and not incredibly user friendly. Some things that pertain to demographics seem like they could feasibly be updated on the user's end, but we often have to go through Omeda support.

Finding ways to further understand our audience and find better ways to track their engagement, segment them out into different targeted campaigns and better understand the areas where we can grow.

to be honest, we are a larger or the largest publisher, and at times the software can be slow and take time to load. Other than that, no complaints.

I like the tiered approach to creating the campaign in Email Builder. That the audience section is separate from the messaging section, and how easy it is to create these campaigns and assign queries.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

I think unscheduling a campaign is less intuitive - toggling to unschedule and then finding the right link that allows me to make changes to the campaign.

Omeda stays current with the changing needs of email marketing, and the ease of using their platform is worth the transition.

Although it's not the area I work in, I know being able to target different audiences is much easier than it was in our previous platform.

The paywall is very easy t use and very effective, It was easy to set up and easy to monitor and review the results.e

It would be very helpful if the  client success manager would come to us proactively with new ideas and features. Omeda has great features that we are not taking advantage of because we don't know about them. It would be so great to improve our tracking and targeting abilities but we have struggled with the audience builder.

The greatest benefit is our paywall. We had declining subscriptions and saw dramatic increases as soon as we launched our paywall.

We get insights into our audience that we traditionally haven't had. I liken it to turning on the lights in the warehouse. You're able to quickly see areas for improvement, target in much more robust ways, and remain compliant to avoid GDPR /CASL violations.

There will always be differences from one ESP to another, but Omeda allows for feature enhancement requests, which allows us to identify deficiencies and request new implementations.

There are several areas of our business that we've seen improve since migrating to Omeda. We're able to build audience queries which target more specifically and increase our engagement.

Omeda has helped us drive revenue by leveraging our 1st party data. We plan to utilize that same data to help personalize content recommendations and user experiences.

Form Builder could use some improvement. It takes a long time to build new forms.

I like the concept of the platform. The interface has good design, and there are many interesting features within the product.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

Although the concept is good, the product is not responsive. It lags a lot. There is also the issue with email deliverability. Also, the support team does not resolve the problem usually. They usually go roundabout with the solution. They also take some time to respond.

With omeda, we could easily query out the list of customers and adjust the customer data.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

Omeda has some of the best customer service and resources around. Throughout our entire transition over to the Omeda platform, our reps were with us every step of the way. They have been invaluable in helping us get us up and running and have gone above and beyond whenever an issue has arisen. The platform and user interface are straightforward to use and understand. After the training sessions, all team members feel confident we can navigate and achieve our desired objectives. Erin Aguilar has been a true asset for us, and we are glad to have her working with us to achieve our KPI's. The reporting features have also been a step up from our last program. Having access to demographic reporting allows us to easily idnetify which groups of our audience relate to specific content.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

There are certain features that I wish were available for reporting. Sometimes the navigation and ease of use can be a bit difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering Omeda:**

If customer service is essential to you, then I can't recommend Omeda enough.  Whenever I have a question or concern, our rep is quick to reply with helpful and insightful information.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After our initial transition over, our most significant obstacle was getting our numbers back to where we originally had them prior to Omeda. Our rep has shown us examples and given us tips and tricks on utilizing the Omeda platform to reach these objectives. Before Omeda, we didn't have automation, personalization, or Olytics to help us reach our goals. We have learned these tools have been crucial to our marketing strategy and have helped us with lead generation, webinar promotion, and circulation renewal efforts.

Fast and easy to run counts/queries and pull lists. Email Builder is also very easy to use. Love all of the reporting options and additional insights we get through the CDP. Plus, our Client Success Manager is amazing, providing hands-on help and suggestions on ways to utilize various Omeda tools to better reach our goals.

Form Builder tool is not as user-friendly as I would like, particularly when it comes to design elements.

Be candid with the Client Success team regarding your objectives and pain points so they can recommend the best tools to meet your needs.

Personalization has given us access to targeted website users and has been particularly helpful in growing event registrations. We’ve just scratched the surface in using everything the CDP has to offer, so I know there will be many more benefits to come.

It's very helpful to have a CDP, ESP, Marketing Automation, Website tagging, and behavioral data under ONE roof!

The conference was exceptional.  The information sessions were very valuable and allows us to improve our business.

All was great.  Wish there was additional time with the round tables and ask the experts sessions

I don't consider them problems; only challenges and opportunities.  My biggest KPI is figuring out a way to really connect the unknown to known in the sense that it recognizes immediately in the system and moves that record

The user interface is pretty clunky and inelegant. Often things are less than intuitive. However, the customer success team is helpful in those instances

We are creating customer journeys where we before had a "spaghetti at the wall" approach. We are personalizing much more.

I cannot say enough about the support team at Omeda. There has never been a time that I have needed something or wanted to try something new that someone has not done everything they could to help me achieve that goal. Omeda has been an absolute pleasure to work with.

We are fulfilling all of our audience needs through omeda. There have been countless benefits.  Flexibility and in depth analytics have been some of the most beneficial to us.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

By far the best customer service I receive of any vendor we currently work with. The Client Success team is engaged and takes time to learn your business. OMEDA regularly releases updates and new features, which keeps the system fresh and sophisticated in its offerings. Their marketing automation tool is user-friendly and constantly evolving to keep up with client feedback/needs.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

Not every module is the most intuitive. Depending on what parts of OMEDA you use, staff training can be required.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing marketing automation, along with better audience segmentation, has allowed us to execute more targeted campaigns regularly. 
As a result, we've seen several products increase engagement and can better report on success to the management team.

**What do you like best about Omeda?**

Email Builder is intuitive. It's easy to see the deployments I'm working on - whether I'm focusing on future email communications or looking at what is on deck for today. If I need to look back at a past deployment, I can access email reports from the same spot without going to another screen. Omeda has set us up for success by communicating well during and after our onboarding process. We appreciate having regular meetings with our client success manager - now more than two years into our relationship.

**What do you dislike about Omeda?**

As a very hands-on user, it sometimes seems inefficient to submit a support ticket for certain tasks. That said, the support team is quick to respond and address our requests.

**What problems is Omeda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous platform was without an automation option, so we are delighted to have this capability within Omeda for email campaigns. Additionally, we appreciate the functionality of the Personalization tool, which lets us address various subscriber segments on our websites with custom messaging.
