What I like most about Office Chat is that it speeds up communication without forcing us into even more meetings. It supports real-time collaboration, keeps conversations neatly organized by topic, and makes it easy to search and revisit past discussions. It also improves transparency across teams, while still keeping communication informal enough that people feel comfortable asking quick questions and resolving issues faster. What I dislike about Office Chat is that it can get noisy and distracting, with constant notifications interrupting my focus. In busy threads, important messages often end up buried, and conversations can shift from thoughtful discussion to quick, reactive replies. It also creates pressure to respond right away, which blurs work-life boundaries and cuts into time for deep, focused work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
