Even for non-developers, like company analysts, it's really easy and fast to set up. The Flex SQL feature allows us to implement customer business rules in just a couple of steps. In general, I think Infor EAM, instead of adjusting your company procedure to the scheme, offers a scheme to you to configure the request. Using customized grids and inboxes enables customers to really concentrate on what they need without other issues getting stuck. **What do you dislike about Octave Attune EAM?** In order to avoid confusion in the present version, EAM does not easily allows to delete the menus that have been used in past releases, but I actually find this to be even more confusing. Also, I feel it needs a bigger back-end support employee to configure customized hyperlinks. When it comes to cost, Infor EAM does not mention it anywhere, so you don't know what to expect when you want to acquire it. **Recommendations to others considering Octave Attune EAM:** Before acquiring Infor EAM, determine exactly what you want to get out of this software and how much personalization you think you will need. The working order system can be configured completely to suit the Client's process. It is extremely configurable and can be used for managerial activities of almost all assets or for more complicated technical installations. **What do you dislike about Octave Attune EAM?** Infor EAM it does not allow system managers to handle canned reports. The standard tool does not contain, for example, a view of Gantt for work orders. Also, if you attempt to link stuff like WO data into components and seek data, you will come into a very hard process. **Recommendations to others considering Octave Attune EAM:** This software is for you if you have a big warehouse with hundreds of pieces that you need to monitor and document constantly. By acquiring Infor, you will have the ability to add or delete what you need in such a simple way. It is suitable for almost every industry, as you'll be able to customize this tool for the sector you for a certain sector. **What problems is Octave Attune EAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Infor EAM is the key instrument for handling such agreements based on SLAs and KPIs identified in EAM for all of our facilities and for outsourced agreements. That makes it easy for the specific user group to only have access to what is important to them. The user dashboard or start center is easy to configure with various inboxes and KPIs. Infor EAM, with the addition of ION, integrates with virtually any third party entities. We recently purchased the ION add-on and are working on some integrations to streamline data collection and provide more flexible reporting. Infor plays very well with Excel. If canned reports don't work for you, export the data into Excel and create your own dynamic report. Within EAM, the structure is very configurable. It is easy to set up and tweak menus and screen designs with ADMIN access. **What do you dislike about Octave Attune EAM?** The canned charts/reports on the dashboard are not that great and can't be easily reconfigured....we just turn them off. Custom reporting is a bit cumbersome if you don't have in depth knowledge of Cognos. It can be easier to export the data in Excel format and create your own dynamic reports. **Recommendations to others considering Octave Attune EAM:** For best results on initial startup and implementation, follow the recommended sequence of events and training schedule for best results. This will minimize the follow up work to correct issues. Also, partner with a good third party consulting group that is an Infor partner. They are generally much less expensive and you can build a good relationship. We've been working with Digital Thinker for several years and they know our system and how we like to configure it. **What problems is Octave Attune EAM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Infor EAM has been a great tool for preventive maintenance. PM schedules are easy to set up and monitor centrally. We are starting to use data within Infor towards reporting OEE for the entire organization. Adding the Infor ION module is allowing us to communicate with other disparate data sources and create more flexible reporting.
