## About OCTA Core
OCTA Core is the agentic finance platform for mid-market and enterprise companies that have outgrown manual AR and AP. Finance teams running on OCTA Core cut DSO by 24–35%, reclaim 100+ hours of manual work every month, and unify accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow into one real-time intelligence layer, all on top of the ERP, CRM, and banking systems they already use. OCTA Core does not replace your ERP. It runs the operations your ERP only records. The platform connects to all your finance stacks in a single integration layer, then deploys agentic AI to execute the work that finance teams have always done manually: 1. Invoice Zero™ captures, extracts, maps and validates every invoice automatically. Self-learning GL mapping. 80% faster invoice processing. 2. Smart Collections: AI prioritises every account by risk, picks the right channel and timing, and loops in sales and CX. Customers cut DSO by up to 40%. 3. Auto Reconciliation: every payment matched to its invoice and posted to the ERP automatically. Exception-only queue for human judgement. 4. OCTA View™ gives you one real-time view of inflows and outflows, with self-serve reports in plain language. See cash before it actually moves. 5. OCTA Studio™: build, deploy and run AI finance agents in days, not quarters. No code. Role-based permissions and full audit trail. 6. OCTA Connect™: one-time integration into your entire finance stack with a real-time normalised data layer that ends silos. 7. Smart Payment: AI prioritises payments by cash impact, captures every early-pay discount, and protects critical vendor relationships. OCTA Core is built for finance leaders who are tired of spreadsheets, manual matching, and surprise cash crunches and ready for finance to run itself. Companies including Careem run their AR and AP operations on OCTA Core, saving 110+ hours every month and cutting DSO by 24%. SOC 2-aligned, audit-ready, and deployed in weeks, not the 18-month rip-and-replace timelines that ERP overhauls demand.

## OCTA Core Reviews
 ### 1. Invoice goes out. Reminders run. Payment lands. Xero updates. Nothing manual

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathlene B. | Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about OCTA Core?**

The end-to-end automation is what changed things for us. Before OCTA, we were managing payment collection on Stripe manually and reconciling everything back into Xero by hand. It was time-consuming and easy to miss things. Now once an invoice is issued, OCTA takes it from there. Automated reminders go out on schedule, customers get auto-charged on the due date, and the payment reconciles back into Xero automatically. I don't coordinate any of that. It runs in the background and I step in only when something actually needs attention.

**What do you dislike about OCTA Core?**

Nothing that has caused us a problem. If I were to suggest anything, more reminder scheduling options for different client types would be a nice addition. But what is there today covers our needs well.

**What problems is OCTA Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual Stripe collection and Xero reconciliation were eating into time that should have been going toward client work. OCTA removed both. The collections cycle now runs without anyone managing it and the accounting records stay clean without a cleanup process at the end of the month.

 ### 2. Reminders that adapt to how people actually behave

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aayusman H. | Finance Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about OCTA Core?**

The personalization in the dunning logic is what I find most useful day to day. The system tracks how members and merchants interact with payment communications and adjusts accordingly. Someone who consistently pays after the second reminder gets treated differently from someone who needs a call. That sounds simple but most tools do not do it. It means the follow-up process feels less like a broadcast and more like it is actually calibrated to the person on the other end.

**What do you dislike about OCTA Core?**

Would be useful to have more visibility into why specific dunning sequences were triggered for individual accounts. The outcomes are clear but a bit more detail on the reasoning behind each sequence selection would help when reviewing edge cases.

**What problems is OCTA Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before OCTA, payment reminders were going out the same way to everyone regardless of payment history or behavior. The conversion rate on those reminders was inconsistent. OCTA changed that. Follow-ups are now smarter and the collection cycle is shorter as a result."

 ### 3. Automated reminders took the most repetitive part of my job off my plate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loice M. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about OCTA Core?**

The automated email reminders are what I notice most day to day. Before OCTA, sending payment reminders meant manually checking what was outstanding, drafting the message, sending it, and logging it somewhere. Doing that across multiple invoices regularly was time-consuming and inconsistent. OCTA runs the reminder sequence automatically based on the schedule we set, and everything syncs back into Zoho without any manual data entry. I now spend that time on actual accounting work rather than chasing payments.

**What do you dislike about OCTA Core?**

Nothing that has affected our day-to-day. If I had to mention something, having a few more pre-built reminder templates for different invoice aging stages would be a nice addition. What is there today works well, that would just make it faster to get started.

**What problems is OCTA Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual follow-ups were taking a consistent chunk of time every week with no guarantee of consistency across clients. OCTA standardized the whole process. Reminders go out on time, every time, and Zoho stays updated automatically. The close cycle is cleaner and there is far less back and forth within the team to figure out what has been followed up and what hasn't.

 ### 4. Automated reminders across two entities without the manual overhead

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kabir H. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about OCTA Core?**

The automated reminder setup is straightforward and it actually works. We have two entities running through OCTA and both sets of reminders go out on time, every time, without anyone manually checking who needs to be chased. I set up the sequences once and they run. The time it saves is consistent and it does not require ongoing maintenance to keep working.

**What do you dislike about OCTA Core?**

The initial configuration across multiple entities takes a bit of time to get right, particularly matching the right reminder sequences to the right client profiles. Once it is set up it runs without issues, but a guided setup flow for multi-entity configurations would help speed up the onboarding process.

**What problems is OCTA Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running manual reminders for two separate entities meant either someone on the team doing it consistently or it not happening consistently. OCTA resolved that. Both entities now get the same reliable follow-up process without adding to anyone's workload.

 ### 5. Practical AI Workflows, Seamless QuickBooks Sync, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nourhan A. | Finance and Strategy Ops Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about OCTA Core?**

The features of the AI workflow in OCTA are very practical. For instance, it automatically pauses when a customer signals their intent to pay. It offers context-aware auto-replies and dynamic workflows, which create a more flexible experience rather than feeling like a rigid rules engine.

Furthermore, the QuickBooks sync is seamless; invoices updated in OCTA automatically appear in QuickBooks without the need for manual entry or exports. The team is also very responsive to inquiries, making it easy to get assistance when needed

**What do you dislike about OCTA Core?**

Reporting is solid across financial metrics, but it would be great to extend it into communication analytics as well. Insights like response rates by follow-up channel would help drive better follow-up strategies. I am waiting for the release of those performance insights in Q2-26 as per their roadmap.

**What problems is OCTA Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Octa has significantly simplified collections follow-up, resulting in meaningful time savings. Its automated charging through Stripe supports a healthy DSO and eliminates the need for manual reconciliation.

 ### 6. Payment collection and reconciliation are now fully automated

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Misbah a. | Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about OCTA Core?**

The combination of automated payment collection and reconciliation back to the accounting tool is what makes this genuinely useful day to day. Reminders go out automatically on the schedule we set. When customers pay through the payment link, the transaction reconciles back to the accounting system without me doing anything. The matching that used to take manual effort and create end-of-month pressure now happens in real time.

**What do you dislike about OCTA Core?**

Would appreciate a clearer view into reconciliation exceptions when they do occur. The automated matching covers the vast majority of transactions, but when a payment lands with incomplete reference data, more detailed exception tracking would help resolve it faster.

**What problems is OCTA Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual payment tracking and reconciliation created a consistent backlog that compounded every month. Every payment that came in had to be matched, checked, and posted. OCTA removed that entirely for the majority of transactions. The work I do now is focused on the exceptions, not the routine.

 ### 7. Customer Scoring and Automated Follow-Ups That Save Us Time Every Week

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farah S. | Senior Finance Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about OCTA Core?**

Customer scoring. Before OCTA, we treated every overdue invoice the same way. Now I can see who pays late consistently vs. who just missed a cycle, and I prioritize accordingly. Follow-ups go out automatically with the correct payment link for each region. It sounds simple but it saves a meaningful amount of time every week.

**What do you dislike about OCTA Core?**

They have all the required features and if any request comes, it is available within a few days. The commitment to deliver new features is what makes it even more reliable and irreplaceable.

**What problems is OCTA Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual AR across multiple markets is messy. Different currencies, different payment preferences, different languages. OCTA handles all of it through the workflow layer. It centralizes everything in one place and allows customization within its function, making it a more effective tool. I get involved when something genuinely needs judgment. Everything else runs on its own.

 ### 8. Automated Reminders and Flexible Workflows That Fit My Business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samih U. | Credit Risk & Receivables Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about OCTA Core?**

Automated reminders and aggressive follow-up, plus the ability to design a workflow that suits my business model.

**What do you dislike about OCTA Core?**

There’s a complete dependency on AR recovery and there’s no personal follow-up.

**What problems is OCTA Core solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OCTA regularly pushes clients based on the workflow we designed and it improves AR recovery. It also helps us avoid hiring additional collectors, which saves costs.
