## About O&O DiskImage
O&O DiskImage provides a wide range of options for backing up systems. You have the choice of creating images or making file backups. With images you can restore a system1:1 back to its original status. File backups let you save selected files and folders that you can keep in a safe place for future access. O&O DiskImage supports the VHDX format. VHDX protects against file corruption by logging changes in the metadata. On top of that, it can support images of up to 64 TB. Imaging and restoration in Hyper-V environments make it easier for IT departments to migrate from physical to virtual machines. Reduce costs O&O DiskImage allows even less experienced IT staff to run simple backups and more complex backup jobs with only a minimum amount of labor. This allows you to save or avoid expenses you’d otherwise need to spend on integration, schooling, or overall operations. Protection against sabotage It happens time and again that malware creeps into a company, infecting many, maybe even all, computers and then starts systematically destroying data. This is often noticed only when it’s too late, when important data has been lost forever. In cases like this, restoring the system and its data is top priority. O&O DiskImage provides the necessary mechanisms needed to recover single files or entire systems in the blink of an eye. Machine Independent Restore on/from virtual environments Hardware that reaches the end of its lifespan must be exchanged. At that point it’s important to decide how best to get the computer’s operating system and all its data onto a new computer. To do this, O&O DiskImage provides Machine Independent Restore (in short M.I.R.) which enables the restoration of a system image onto a machine with different hardware components. Drivers and settings are automatically replaced to keep the system in working order. O&O DiskImage simplifies migration from physical to virtual machines. VHD and VHDX support along with direct restoration in Hyper-V environments makes virtualization of your IT systems really easy.

## O&O DiskImage Reviews
 ### 1. The price is not affordable

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Komi David A. | CEO, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2023

**What do you like best about O&O DiskImage?**

O&O DiskImage is a tool, for disk backup and cloning. The data backup process takes a bit longer there is potential for performance improvements by the engineers. AutoBackup does not have data restoration capabilities, which require effort and dont allow for a full backup.

**What do you dislike about O&O DiskImage?**

One area where it falls short is in terms of cloud backup options. This limitation seen as a downside for users who are looking for a backup solution.

**What problems is O&O DiskImage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that O&O DiskImage solves is eliminating any room, for user error when it comes to data backup and recovery. The GUI is not as advanced compared to the options I find it functional and difficult to use. There are some areas where the user interface could be increased.

 ### 2. No Backup Options Exsits

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew C. | CEO, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about O&O DiskImage?**

The backup process takes longer compared to tools. It is great if they make the software more affordable which makes it easier for accounting purposes. O&O AutoBackup doesnt restore data automatically requiring intervention that is time consuming.

**What do you dislike about O&O DiskImage?**

The limited support for cloud backups and lack of features tailored for companies make it less suitable for data backup requirements. The functionality is somewhat limited when it comes to computers.

**What problems is O&O DiskImage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

O&O DiskImage is unable to solve the issue of user error when performing disk imaging tasks. Theres a lack of advanced features that potentially affect its effectiveness. This has been disadvantageous, for my business as it increases the risk of data loss.

 ### 3. Great Program and Features

**What do you like best about O&O DiskImage?**

O&O DiskImage helps my team to back up the data efficiently, and our team can use this tool to clone the disk as well. Also, O&O DiskImage provides a clean user interface and is easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about O&O DiskImage?**

The only dislike I can think of is taking a little bit more time to back up the data compared to the other backup tool. I would hope to see the engineers improve the backup performace in the future.

**What problems is O&O DiskImage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team uses this tool to back up the data from NAS devices to the PCs, and we use this tool to do an automatic backup every day. This tool saves us a lot of time and helps to improve our job efficiency.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Implementation Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

DiskImage gives you a powerful set of tools to backup to easily setup local backups.

**What do you dislike about O&O DiskImage?**

There's really not much to dislike about DiskImage.

**Recommendations to others considering O&O DiskImage:**

If you are considering a local backup agent, give O&O a try. It is powerful and allows full to incremental backups. It will give you all the options to image, restore, and schedule whatever you need for a good price. It is not for cloud backup, though, so keep that in mind when choosing a solution.

**What problems is O&O DiskImage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to automate incremental backups across our network through a single interface and powerful suite of backup options.

 ### 9. Easy to use and reliable cloning/imaging software

 ### 10. No room for user error!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine M. | Product Support Specialist, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2018

**What do you like best about O&O DiskImage?**

I like how simple the application is to use. There is little to no room for user error, which is great for users. It has above average speed when it comes to backing up.

**What do you dislike about O&O DiskImage?**

only downside is O&O AutoBackup doesn't restore your data. Which I wish it did but instead you sort of have to do it manually which can take some time. There is also no way to do a simple full backup.

**Recommendations to others considering O&O DiskImage:**

If you are only looking for a simple data back up and nothing else this will probably be your best bet. Sadly, this platform doesn't offer that much for larger companies.

**What problems is O&O DiskImage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a solution that can do backup restoration to help out for some of our teams but O&O did not help with that sadly.
