I like using Notability because it helps me stay organized when I take notes by hand on my iPad. It's really handy that I can record meetings with audio and see exactly what I was writing at those moments with my manual notes coming to life as you hear the audio. The tool also offers rich recaps, summaries, and useful study questions and quizzes. I love its versatility because I can use it for note-taking, audio notes, drawings, and more. It's great for meetings, studying, or even casual drawing. The initial setup was extremely easy, just install the app, purchase the subscription for AI features, and start using it. Sometimes I forget to stop recording a meeting, a notification when audio is silent could improve this. Having long audios makes the app stop processing them and transcribing nor generating AI content such as summaries. I can shorten or delete audios afterwards, but I would prefer a notification to suggest me to stop the recording so the battery on my iPad doesn't drain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Notability is multi-functional and allows for many options in how you handle your note-taking and what you do with them after-the-fact. It integrates easily into my LMS and is very easy to use for just about any type of scribbling and note-taking. I use it on a daily basis in my teaching because it has so many options. The formatting within Notability is not the best. There are relatively few options for how to organize the notes, and it takes some personal creativity to make your notes look interesting and to distinguish between sections of your notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Notability is so easy to use and implement in my everyday school life. It organizes my notes for quick accessibility, and it is easy to integrate. I use it literally every day for school. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think it sometimes is unable to load notes quickly, but that is it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With a clean design and a variety of writing tools Notability makes/simple to switch between different strokes and shades making it easy to visually understand my data. Not only does it allow me to integrate images or diagrams into my notes but also allows me to draw, making note taking more dynamic; and it gives me the ability to view and modify my files from my iPad or Mac. It has my expectations covered, Notability's combination of simplicity and adaptability make it one of my favorite tools for managing my information and ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Notability has an extremely simple interface. It reminds me of Apple software in that it doesn't appear at first to be able to do much; the incredible power of the app is lurking beneath the simple surface.

I love how easy it is to open the app up and just start taking notes right away, and the ability to connect with vocal recordings is awesome. Additionally I love that the apple pencil writing tools are robust enough to make complex diagrams, but not so complicated that it's not intuitive to use.

Finally, I love all the different paper templates, as well as the ability to import your own templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't much that i don't like about Notability, but if i had to nitpick these would be my complaints:

- The interface for converting handwritten text to copyable text isn't very robust

- I wish there was a way to archive notebooks

- I wish there were more sticker options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

About Notability I like the most that it has a very simple and intuitive interface. I like how the folders and documents are organised. I also love all the features and the fact that you can record audio notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike the subscription payment mode. At the beginnings you could buy the App with a one time payment and it was perfect, but now everything is a subscription. In this way it doesn't matter how much money you have paid, if you miss the payment you lose the right to use the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easily we can organise all our notes in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I dislike in Notability is that the free version of the app comes with limited edits for each month and there is no clear statement as to what constitutes an edit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Notability as a whiteboard that I can project in my classroom or share during online meetings. I can save and share the pages of the document, too. Importing images into the Notability document is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish editing imported images were more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to use the application's different tools. It makes it easy to take engineering classes, make calculations, draw models and send everything to myself or peers in various formats. It's also good to brainstorm ideas for events, engineering problems, group meetings, and more! I also use it as a planner and read PDFs and take notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far, I've liked almost everything! Maybe they could add more options to save different types of favorite tools. For example, I have pens/markers for meetings and others that I prefer to use for math problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am someone who has to read dozens of research articles every week, and no debility helps me to stay organized and helps me to feel like I'm really digging into the things I am reading Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't love the import process is five or six steps it feels like at least. I wish it was easier to create presets so that things could be entered more smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
