Nightwatch.js is an integrated framework for performing automated end-to-end testing on web applications and websites, across all major browsers. It is written in Node.js and uses the W3C WebDriver API to interact with various browsers.

**What do you like best about NightwatchJS?**

NightwatchJS has Testing-support for various browsers. Using other third-party services it is even possible to test on real hardware, including mobile phones.

**What do you dislike about NightwatchJS?**

The NightwatchJS ecosystem ist not yet as extensive as is the case with other, more mature testing frameworks.

**What problems is NightwatchJS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A very large portion of our web application's users are using mobile devices to access our web frontends. NightwatchJS enables us to write comprehensive tests including functional and integration testing as well as UI tests. For the latter one we integrate NightwatchJS with other third-party services which allows us to simulate UI interaction on real hardware, collect and analyze the results.
