**What do you like best about NextThought?**

The entire NextThought team has been highly professional and responsive—helping us out every step of the way. Holding our hands when we needed it, and kicking us into action when THAT was needed. They have been very helpful and welcome addition to our vendor network.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

Honestly, have not discovered anything which has been negative. Any issues we have encountered have been immediately addressed and/or added to their roadmap for future upgrades.

**Recommendations to others considering NextThought:**

Be prepared to be impressed with them. They respond to calls and emails quickly. Their training and integration teams are positive and engaging. I've become jaded over time with SaaS platforms NOT performing after the contract is signed, but NextThought has been a breath of fresh air in that regards.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an LMS which was intuitive and offered a positive UX for our members. NextThought has provided that—earning numerous positive remarks from our members and committees.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

The customer service was great, and the entry was so easy. Max was very helpful through the entire set up process.  We were very happy with the product overall. The teachers, students and parents also enjoyed the ease on their side as well. We vetted the program through the PTA and their feedback was excellent. They liked the fact that all the information could be stored in one place for the students to view. We liked that the students could log in and watch numerous videos and retrieve information to assist them in choosing courses for the following year. Due to Covid and not being able to hold an event in person this was an amazing alternative. It has allowed us to see the benefits of storing the information and we plan on continued use of the product.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

We did have hundreds of students that needed to log in on one day in particular. It seemed to have overloaded the system because the students were unable to create an account. Although, we worked with the team and got it fixed for the next day.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We will work on our end where students can take different days to set up their accounts. We plan on renewing and continuing with NextThought again next year it has been a great experience. Thanks!

The expertise, personalities, and can-do, helpful attitude of all staff were superb.  Staff are super respectful, creative, and go WELL above and beyond in everything they do!

I have no negative impressions of NextThought.

NextThought is an extraordinary company in every way, and it operates an LMS unlike any other platform available.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am helping budding researchers, and early career researchers learn about a wide array of topics that one typically comes to understand only through years of experience.  This includes how research is funded and sources of funding, peer review, intellectual property, publishing results, building teams, complying with rules and regulations, etc.  The benefits involve giving early career researchers a huge head start, and also democratizing the availability of this information to traditionally underrepresented, underserved and marginalized populations.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

When looking for a product to take our event virtual Next Thought checked all of the boxes to make it a success! Set up was a breeze. We added videos, PDF's, and more with just a few clicks. The platform was easy to use, technical support exceeded all expectations, and everyone who visited the site raved about our event! We love our Next Thought product so much we are using it year-round!

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

Even for someone as tech-challenged as I am, Next Thought was super easy to use! Tech support walked us through all of our questions.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our event is typically in person. Using Next Thought made our information available 24/7 for people to use and revisit at any time!

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

I like the many different options we have related to customizing our courses - there are so many ways that we can structure our courses. Additionally, I like how easy the platform is for our learners to navigate - they very rarely have questions about how to complete their work.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

I do wish we had the ability to order the courses within our course catalog. I also wish there was a way to turn "off" the social preferences in case we do not want our clients communicating among themselves on the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering NextThought:**

My recommendation would be to plan out the content you wish to create prior to actually adding it to the NextThought platform.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NextThought has provided our learners with the ability to learn about our product at their own pace. Our internal team also has the ability to create content easily to be available to our learners immediately. We've benefitted greatly from this platform - mostly because we have an easy way to share content and our learners have an easy way to grasp big concepts.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

Their customer service team and Help Desk have been gone above and beyond. They are quick to respond to me, and have worked to help OK educators successfully complete the training required of them to adminster the OSTP. 

I have found that platform to be user friendly, accessable, and easily navigated. It is exactly what our office needed- a platform that all users can naviagte easily.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

There are some site functionalities I would like to see changed or improved upon. For instance, it would be nice for there to be a reports access only role for facilitators.
 
Additionally I would like to see a hierachy or rights/privledges built out for when state wide modules are created and used: something like a state level view, districts level view, and then a building level view. Then, with this heirarchy built out, state level, district level, and building level reports could be easily generated. 

Lastly, when you are an adminster on numerous modules (right now I am overseeing the administration of 1000 plus modules), the site runs slowly.

Check out the features to make sure it will fit your organziational needs.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NextThought has been great about addressing gltiches that go beyond my ability and expertise. These issues are immediatly sent to the development team, and fixed. 

The benefits to using NextThought for a state wide training where record collection is required are numerous. First and foremost being that digital training records are automatically accessable in CSV format, and elminates the need for indivdually checking for proof of training. Next, since users create their own account-there is less of a chance for the training recrods to be lost.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

I love that the platform is very user-friendly and easy to use, not just for me as the administrator but for the user. I like the quick response time if I ever have an issue. The price is very affodable. The platform is very clean looking and eye catching. I like the help section I can reference if I have a question, I can search for answers on different topics.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

It would be nice if an evaluation form created could be used across the entire platform. I have to recreate the form for every session I want to use it for,

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a program to administer CEU's to different workforce groups. This program has allowed me to provide those CEU's to our membership in a way that helps everyone. We use NextThought for all of our on-demand and distance learning education.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

Our customers who are not tech-savvy love the testing process. Our customer service calls have all but disappeared; who needs anything more than happy customers?

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

Sometimes a little slow. Which could be a volume issue, we have a lot of customers.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our customer service calls used to be a huge ding to our resources and our customers were not happy. Now they love the platform, and we are not getting so many complaints.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

NextThought is a flexible, affordable learning management tool for both small trainings and large annual conferences.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

No complaints. NT is always willing to take suggestions and implement changes to meet the need.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide year-round virtual trainings on-demand and track CEUs. During COVID, NextThought helped us continue our professional development when unable to meet in person. We will now continue to utilize it for our hybrid events.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

One of the main reasons we selected Next Thought was its open pricing and only charging for admins of the site. This allows us to use it for larger groups and clients that are outside our organization.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

Some of the integrations aren't as smooth as I'd like. Some competitors let you do some of the work within the platform, rather than relying on always loading new files.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working on providing client education and training of our programs to new clients and essentially providing onboarding training to clients' HR staff to help them better support members with our plan as part of their health plan offerings.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

1.  NT manages all the administration so we don't have to spend time in the backend. 
2. The tool is intuitive and easy to use and easy to train others, such as instructors, to use. 
3. We can tweak/edit the front end, and it is easy and intuitive also. 
4. The staff is great. They listen, answer our questions with patience and resolve. They are very responsive to our questions, issues, and needs.
5. Single sign-on makes it easy for course takers.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

Functionality is basic. There are limitations to question types, no branching or learning paths.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide our global network with relevant learning options. Our members can access their courses any day, any time, which is important when working across the globe.

Next Thought as an Admin is quite intuitive, so setting up or creating online courses is pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

NT has some limited functionality, and if the course offerings are very complex a more robust platform may be more appropriate.

**Recommendations to others considering NextThought:**

Ask a lot of questions when doing research on a potential platform.  Ask for a sandbox or test site so you can play in the platform and see its functionality.  Ask to talk with current companies using the platform.

**What problems is NextThought solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not using NT to solve any problems, necessarily.  We are reaching out to more people, ideally, with our online educational program options.

**What do you like best about NextThought?**

It's so user-friendly. I am still in the building stage, so have not rolled it out yet to users. My feedback will improve I'm sure once I've done so.

**What do you dislike about NextThought?**

It should be integrated better with PDF's/PowerPoint's showing directly on screen, versus a user having to download. Same with Zoom, the experience should be on the NT application versus leaving the space.
