NexDev Reviews & Product Details

NexDev is a peer-to-peer text and file sharing application for moving content directly between your own signed-in devices. It runs in the browser and uses encrypted WebRTC data channels, so shared text and files travel browser to browser instead of through a server. A lightweight signaling server only introduces the devices to each other; it never stores conversations or uploads. Every open, signed-in tab joins one room-wide conversation and automatically connects to the other tabs, so a snippet, link or file sent from a laptop appears on a phone or another computer right away. Users sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple, or email. NexDev works as a progressive web app on desktop and mobile without an install, and it suits developers and privacy-conscious users who want quick transfers between machines without cloud storage.
