What do you like best about Netwrix Access Analyzer?

Stealthbits allows me to sleep like a baby knowing my data is safe. It proactively eliminates threats that I didnt even know existed before I installed the product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Netwrix Access Analyzer?

You can check the current permissions that users have and at the same time you can modify them and see them before changing them as those changes would affect those users, which allows you to have a control over how they affect the modifications that are made.

It is also quite easy to use and the reports generate reports that allow you to check all the relevant information found in the database.

What do you dislike about Netwrix Access Analyzer?

When you perform several analyzes it can happen that too much memory and processor are used in the server, which can affect the correct operation, since it consumes many resources at times.

These analyzes can also sometimes take longer than desired to be done, more than a day sometimes takes. But it is true that although they take a long time you really get a wide information and also make sure you are sure if there is any threat. With StealthAUDIT Management Platform we can have more control in the company about the privileges that each group of users have. It is important to manage the permissions and define access to folders, files and data, as this increases security and prevents the loss of information.

What do you like best about Netwrix Access Analyzer?

I like the best the file monitoring agents and the reports based on access permissions changes. AIC is very good as idea. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netwrix Access Analyzer?

For large dispersed environments I've experience very long time for some jobs. The analytics jobs are using too much of the processor and memory on the SQL server. Some analytics jobs takes more than 24 hours to execute. The data is as current as a scheduled jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had a malware attack our fileserver and encrypt 5TB of data over a long weekeend. If I had had StealthBits back then, it would have disabled the compromised domain account and stopped the encryption in its tracks (which would have saved us 16 hours downtime restoring data from backups. The ability to produce standard Share/Folder Audit reports or AD Group reports quickly within minutes now. The ability to produce report to assess data and put together a plan to remediate unstructured data, access, etc. The ability to offer self-service for colleagues to manage AD Groups and perform formal Entitlement review or revalidations of Group memberships by the tens of thousands. What do you like best about Netwrix Access Analyzer?

StealthAUDIT allows visibility and automation of access rights and privileges across Active Directory and other file repositories. Features that enable my admins tell the age and complexity of user passwords and the ability to automatically send emails notifications to users or even enforce password change is extremely useful. Perhaps the best feature is the ability to simulate changes, see the impact and understand any complexity and risks before having to commit those changes in a production environment. Automation and auditing of user privileges. Access control to files / folder structure, Anomaly detection in user behavior and access profiles.

Support and follow up is key to this project, Verisk uses StealthBits project team to assist in the design and build out of this tool. The support staff is eager to work through issues and establish standards as part of the build process. Overall the product meets our needs with the various functions we purchased.
