  ### 6. Centralized management and fully automated platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leo S. | Technical Lead, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

With Nerdio Manager, we can manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) for all of our customers within one portal. We almost use it every day to monitor that AVD status.
The best thing I like about Nerdio is its automation. It can combine a series of complicated steps if I do it from Azure to a single click. For example, update the Gold Image. If I do it from Azure, it takes me 30 mins to 1 hour with steps of sys-prep, snapshotting from disk, saving to image, etc. But with Nerdio, it's just a single click on "Save as image". The rest of the thing will be done by Nerdio. We just need a cup of coffee and wait till it is completed. It gives us status update step-by-step. If anything went wrong, it's easy for us to troubleshoot based on the status and error message. It saved us a lot of time and effort on monthly patching.
The other thing I like is the auto-scale. The auto-scale settings are way more powerful than the Azure built-in scale plan. Also, the history of auto-scale makes us easy to optimise auto-scale to save customers' costs.
The deployment and integration for a customer is very simple. The initial setup of the whole AVD environment can be done within 30 minutes by following the wizard. I love its automation.
The customer support is also excellent. Support can find the root cause quickly and give us solutions.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Not something I dislike, but a suggestion. The AVD troubleshooting still needs to go to Azure Insight, not from Nerdio itself. But Nerdio gives a clear link to redirect to Azure portal AVD Insight. I can see Nerdio are adding more functions from Insight already, like CPU and RAM usage of each session host, RTT of each user, etc. I am expecting more functions will be integrated into Nerdio. So I don't need to jump to Azure for anything moving forward.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The excellent automation benefited us a lot. For example, saving and updating gold image, batch creating new session hosts, initially deploying AVD for new customers, setting up and optimizing auto-scale for AVD host pool, etc.

  ### 7. Effortless AVD Management with Nerdio Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca W. | Channel Account Manager , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

I like that Nerdio Manager is easy to use and accurate. It's much simpler than other tools out there. I also found the initial setup to be extremely easy.

Maybe having local support would be great.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio Manager simplifies agile management for MSPs and helps tailor cost-conscious estimates for clients.

  ### 8. User Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhavya M. | Technology Analyst - serving notice period, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

It makes any AVD admins life easy. The tool has capability to manages anything related to Azure Virtual Desktops reducing the manual effort upto 90% and Nerdio provide great support to their customers

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Nothing i can recollect now. In my experience this is a great tool of AVD management

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. It reduces most of the manual effort
2. Being an AVD Admin, it helps to easily deploy/delete new resources in azure
3. It have their own script for most of the things, which make life simple on automation. Eg: MS Teams installation, VM optimization etc
4. Comparing to manual effort or using azure DevOps for any new hostpool vm creation, Nerdio tool takes lesser provisioning time
5. Provide advanced auto scaling feature
6. Fslogix which is a user profile management solution is integrated with Nerdio. So Nerdio will take care of its installtion in AVD. Seperate installation not required
7. Provide detailed logs for each activity running using Nerdio

These are some of the features I found which can help managing the AVD environment using Nerdio

  ### 9. Minimal, Refreshing UI, But Missing Key Functionality

  ### 15. Review Nerdio Manager within the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Software category

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Strong Automation, Simplification & Time Savings

Backup / Disaster Recovery & Resiliency
Frequent Improvements and Responsive Support

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Cost / Licensing Overhead
Permission / Role‑Based Limitations
Scalability / Resource Limits & API Throttling
Support & Documentation Issues

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updating images (patching, software updates), applying changes, validating in multiple regions, keeping master images in sync etc. are tedious and error‑prone.
Ensuring that data stays within correct geographic regions / tenants, that policies are applied uniformly, that roles & permissions are minimal and appropriate.
Problems when third‑party tools force workarounds or when user data could leak or be mismanaged.

  ### 16. Pricey, but well worth it!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew C. | Technical Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) needs a third-party manager. Nerdio's offering brings cost savings via its proprietary scaling model. The savings extend to reduced administrative overhead in managing images, software deployments, problem resolution, and more. Since choosing Nerdio over a year ago, we only encountered one issue that required reaching out to support. While tier-one support could not resolve the issue the same day, we received a satisfactory response within 24 hours. At no time did the issue cause downtime for our tenant.

For those just starting out with AVD, consider a Nerdio trial. You can build your first image and deploy a workspace and host pool in less than a day.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio Manager is expensive! The licensing cost should be recovered by the scaling model savings, but it does eat into the savings tremendously.

We regularly run into errors with the 'User cost attribution' report. Redeploying Nerdio resolves the issue, but repeatedly doing this is aggravating. Lastly, Nerdio "power off and set as image" will fail on the sysprep stage if there are errors--Nerdio does not check for these possible issues including having antivirus installed on the image VM.

Is Nerdio too pricey for your institution? Talk to the sales reps. They may be able to work with you.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Makes managing Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) easier than using native Microsoft tools.
- Scaling models within Nerdio are superior (in our humble opinion) than native Microsoft scaling models.
- Image building is faster with software deployment scripts and one-click "Set as image" option from running VM.
- Faster resolution when there are host or image issues.
- Cost modeling to assist with assigning usage costs to departments.

  ### 17. Keep AVD and your sanity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel D. | Senior Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Over the last 10 years, I've been tasked with learning, optimizing, and managing various Microsoft products and platforms and it's rarely ever been easy. I'm not sure if Microsoft does this on purpose, or if they have a build first, figure it out later kind of attitude, but sludging through Microsoft documentation to put all of the pieces together can be quite draining. Microsoft AVD is no exception from this. Trying to fit all of the peice together to setup a functioning and manageable virtual desktop environment is not an easy task if you're trying to do it all from portal.azure.com.

And thankfully, that's where Nerdio comes into play. Nerdio's platform is straight forward and simple to figure out. Documentation is straight forward and it doesn't take very long to feel comfortable using their UI. Setting up a new AVD environment using their wizard is a dream. It takes care of securely setting up all of the underlying infrastracture in Azure and turns a few days of work into a couple of hours.

After the initial setup, Nerdio makes managing the AVD environment simple and straight forward.

We haven't had too many issues that have required reaching out to custom support, but when we have, their support has been responsive, friendly and helpful.

After using Nerdio for AVD setup and management I can't imagine going back to trying to do it all directly through Azure. It's definitely a must have product and I would highly recommend checking it out if you're working with AVD.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

I think the biggest issue we had was there was a bug in one of the versions of the platform that caused auto scaling host pools to take 30 minutes longer when creating a new session host. We opened a ticket and their development team quickly fixed the issue and released an updated version. This caused a minor interruption for one of our larger clients and spiked our help desk tickets during that time period because there weren't any available sessions for users to connect into. Other than that, I haven't had any issues or anything that I dislike about the platform.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio makes managing Azure's AVD environment managable. I don't think that our help desk would be able to effectively support the clients with have with AVD environments which would cause more ticket escalations and put more work on my plate.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed experience with Nerdio Manager! We understand the challenges of navigating Microsoft products and platforms, and our goal has always been to simplify and streamline this process for our customers. It’s wonderful to hear that you found our platform, documentation, and UI straightforward and easy to use. We’re especially glad that our AVD setup wizard has made a significant difference in reducing the time and effort required to set up and manage your virtual desktop environments. If you ever have any further suggestions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

  ### 18. A must have for any Azure invested MSP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary H. | Sr. Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

What I like most about Nerdio is I can quickly spin up an entire AVD instance in just a few clicks and Nerdio takes care of the busy work for you. It is great for managing it even if you are an Azure Portal expert as it reduces the amount of menus you have to go through. This also enables you to give lower experienced technicians the ability to help with AVD related issues as the simpler interface and approval processes Nerdio has makes it easy for anyone to get into. They are also adding new features all the time that keep impressing.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

I wish there wasnt a minimum charge for new accounts. Sometimes you have a small 1 or 2 client mom and pop shop that could use an AVD but the nerdio mininum makes it cost prohibitive.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio is helping solve the problem of how to make Azure easy to understand for all tiers of support so that not every issue relating to Azure has to be escalated.

  ### 19. Good at what what it does for specific scenarios

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert C. | Senior IT Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio makes configuring and maintaining AVD environments for specific customer enviornments easier than going through Azure. Once you understand what Nerdio can and can't do you can adjust your expectations and utilize the tool to its greatest potential. Their script library for installing and uninstalling specific applications on freshly spun up session hosts is great.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio adds an extra interface layer to an already complicated process that can be annoying to work with at times. There are some things that Nerdio cannot do that require you to still go through Azure to accomplish that keeps it from being a one stop AVD shop. The afformentioned script library can be both a boon and a detriment. When the scripts fail, they fail in a most spectacular fashion and it can be difficult to discern exactly why. We mostly use them to install our RMM tool and then run other scripts through our RMM for more reliability. It can also be difficult at times to make sense of their limited KB database for learning how to manage the tool.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Nerdio to configure and manage AVD environments for multiple customers. It provides a centralized location for us to manage those customers without having to switch constantly between all of the sign in processes for Azure. It cuts down on initial spin up time and ease of managing after the environment is established.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for the feedback. This is helpful and we will certainly look at improving the features based on your comment.

  ### 20. Spectacular Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory C. | Chief Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio Manager creates a single page dashboard, that I review every day, for managing my client and their respective Host Pools, attached users, and to see server resource usage: this was critical data in determining how many users per host we could effeciently host. Moreover, the ability to deply master images has been easy to implement without issue. Finally, Jignesh Daniels was absolutely brilliant in the assisting with the implementation of the environment and helping me to better understand how to leverage and easily use the software going forward. He answered all of my questions in a timely fashion, and was always professional and incredibly courtious.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

There are times when hosts fail, but that is not entirely the fault of Nerdio, but my next step is to learn how to have notifications sent to me when hosts are not available or when processes fail.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There was an educational gap and learning curve with Azure that Nerdio Manager has helped us bridge and using this product is much more intuitive to use than Azure.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback! Have you seen our recent improvements to Notifications? It's easier to set up and we've introduced additional options. There's more to come soon!

  ### 21. Very easy to use service for managing AVD

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory P. | Cloud Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

The automation and scheduling features are its best features. The product saves us so much time versus using the (in my opinion) more complicated Azure Portal. We manage 125 VMs using Nerdio. The scheduling feature helps us to spin up and down the VMs on a daily basis. We also use the reimage option on a weekly basis for all VMs so that they are fresh every Monday morning. The ease of use in setting up the master image was a delight. We used a 3rd party to help us implement the system but I have used Nerdio support on a couple of things. They were always quick and helpful with their responses. I also like that they are constantly improving the product and adding new and useful features.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

When we first started using Nerdio, we found the scheduling options a bit limited for our use case but luckily after a few updates to the system, it is now perfect for us. The only real issue that we run into occasionally is a VM will fail on an upgrade for the Nerdio agent. This causes that VM to be inaccessible. Sometimes a simple reboot fixes it while other times it requires a reimage to fix. Overall it is a rare occurrence and is easily fixable.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We provide a lab-style classroom training on a weekly basis to up to 125 students. For years, we had contracted out the classroom virtual machines to a third-party hosting provider. By leveraging Nerdio, we were able to bring it in-house. This allowed us to have more control over the VMs and cut down costs.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for your feedback and glad to hear that you're like the way we've improved scheduling. Nerdio Manager doesn't require an agent, so it's a bit unclear which agent is causing the disruption. Please raise a support request to see what could be causing this issue.

  ### 22. Nerdio - a simple way to manage your AVDs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan A. | Information Technology Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Simple and easy to use.
If you have little to no training, it can be a bit confusing at first because you are unfamiliar with the layout, but it takes minutes as you navigate through it for the first time.
For the most part, all the drop-down menus and actions are straight forward, and logs provide relevant information on what is going on and who started the tasks.

I'm also glad there is a training opportunity in Chicago to learn more, as I would like to learn from the ground up, rather than second-hand training.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

If one has never performed specific tasks/actions, you would have to run it, obviously, on a test host, as you don't want to disrupt production.
I am not sure if there is a learning manager somewhere, where you can work in a lab environment to learn all these, that would be nice to have.

Complaints - my main one is when auto-scale fails to start hosts and we have to manually turn them on.
Also running a resize/reimage, sometimes the results are not always consistent with each AVD host, such as FSLogix not working or a missing functionality, like an app isn't available or can't open on one vs. another.
Also limiting the amount of users that can be on a host at a time, we set our limit to 6 but I've seen 7+ users with active sessions working on them. At one point, I saw 12!

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly, I've been told that the Intune side is a hot mess and Nerdio just simplifies it all.
Nerdio has all the buttons at your fingertips, and any beginner Helpdesk personnel can navigate through it and be able to read and understand what the actions do.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for this detailed feedback. Please check out our support documentation and forums for help on session host limits, please also raise a support request if this is causing you problems and we would be happy to look at your problem.

  ### 23. Nerdio is a fantastic time saver and force multiplier for our engineering staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wes B. | VP of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Feature Set - constantly updated and the roadmap is highly influenced by customer feedback.
Ease of Use - Allows frontline service desk personnel to support AVD environments without the deep knowledge required using native Microsoft tools.
Partner Relations - Nerdio does everything they can to help you be successful, from training for staff to a fantastic yearly conference, and most of it is at no cost to the partner. Meet some sales goals, and even the yearly Partner Conference is free.
Technical Support - one of the best Knowledge Bases in the industry, and they back it up with a responsive and skilled support staff. They truly want their partners to suceed and it is obvious from the interactions with support staff that it is a company wide core value to make sure we do.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Pricing is not cheap, it is definitely a premium product, and you need to take advantage of everything they offer to get the value from it.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio allows us to quickly and accurately price and deploy AVD solutions for our clients. The repeatable process utilizing their automations saves us time and money, both in the solution development, implementation and maintenance phases of our customer relations. They do a fantastic job of demystifying one of Microsoft's more complicated products, allowing us to take advantage of the incredible benefits of AVD deployments without the huge investment into highly technical engineering staff it would otherwise require.

  ### 24. Powerful and simple way to manage AVD

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt M. | Cloud Engineer, Sr., Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio makes it easy for my small team to manage multiple workspaces and desktop images through powerful automation and easy integration with our Azure environment. Having the ability to schedule out all future maintenance tasks for a workspace means less time spent by engineers (and less time after hours) doing manual tasks.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Sometimes it's very hard to tell if the issue is related to Nerdio or if Azure is having issues again. Thankfully, support is responsive, but it would be much better if the console provided more actionable error messages.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a healthcare company, secure access to protected information is critical. Being able to deploy stateless workstations for our engineers to use allows us to limit the sprawl of protected information, since we have configured Nerdio to destroy machines after use. Nerdio is also crucial in managing our machine images, ensuring that patches and software updates are applied continuously, which reduces our attack surface.

  ### 25. A great convenience, you get what you pay for.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Level 2 Support Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio includes out-of-the-box reporting and live statistics of all systems on one page, the creation of AVD hosts and servers allows for easy cost comparison. I would like to request a "wizard" feature to help with choosing between the different AVD styles though, it's a lot of reading to figure out which are best when setting up an RDS server, SQL server, DC... and so on, but the account reps will go over this with you upon request / during onboarding I am told (I wasn't the tech assigned during onboarding, but this was related to me). I use the platform several times a week, almost daily. Implementing and updating it was easy, adding clients is also very straightforward once you get the Azure prerequisites taken care of.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

They will for the most part not support anything with Azure that is outside of their platform, I suppose this is expected, but it would be great if they could include some hours per month of general support based on the number of users you have registered with the platform. The cost is considerable from a small business standpoint.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At a glance user and AVD Host statistics.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for your feedback. We acknowledge that certain issues need to be addressed directly by the Azure support team. Nonetheless, we are committed to offering assistance and guidance whenever customers reach out to us with such concerns.

  ### 26. Nerdio Manager - Azure Virtual Desktop made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick M. | L2 Network Technician, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

It provides a single pane of glass for managing all of our clients. It's easy to get started and you can have your own portal up within a day. Intregrating with new clients into the portal is as simple as clicking add and logging in to the tenant. Customer service is quick to respond and is very knowledgable about the product and AVD as a whole. They also support the ability for client end users to have access to their own tenant for management.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

The only downside i can think of is about the range of support offered, They will assist with scoping, quoting and setting up the infrastructure but are unable to assist with VM specifics, app installs or errors, Client connection issues, etc. They have a very clear scope of support document, so it was not a surprise but it would be nice to utilize their expertise for client specific settings.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to manage all of our AVD clients in a single portal. It allows us to setup alerting for all tenants, single tenants, all host pools, etc and have custom alerting sent to us in case of emergency. They assist with scoping and quoting of the Azure resources and have built-in mark up tools to assist with margin and profits on sales. It allows everyone to get a clear idea of the costs associated and we can tweak the scope as needed. If you utilize that you can import the scope to automate deployment of resources.
It allows our interns and newly hired technical staff to view, monitor and manage AVD without needing the intricate knowledge of all aspects. It also prevents our techs from needing to access the client infrastructure unless critical.

  ### 27. Nerdio Enterprise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sapan P. | Manager, Technical Product Management, Pharmaceuticals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

As a Nerdio Manager for Enterprise customer, I really appreciate how it simplifies the management of Azure Virtual Desktop environments. The automation features are a standout, allowing us to streamline deployment and management of our virtual desktop infrastructure. It's also great for scaling operations efficiently, adapting to changes in demand without needing deep expertise in Azure. Plus, the intuitive interface makes it accessible even for team members who aren't experts in Azure, which really helps in speeding up our operations and reducing errors.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Inabilty to have folder structure for images and templates

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio Manager for Enterprise solves several key problems that benefit us in managing our Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments:

Complexity Reduction: It reduces the complexity of deploying and managing AVD by providing a more user-friendly and intuitive interface. This makes it easier for our team to handle these tasks without needing deep Azure expertise.

Automation and Efficiency: Nerdio Manager automates many aspects of the AVD setup and management process, such as auto-scaling and updating session hosts. This automation saves us time and reduces the likelihood of human error, enhancing our overall efficiency.

Cost Management: With its built-in cost-management tools, Nerdio Manager helps us optimize our Azure resources, effectively scaling them based on actual usage and reducing waste. This leads to significant cost savings in our cloud expenditures.

Scalability: It provides tools that make scaling our virtual desktop deployments up or down quick and painless, allowing us to efficiently adjust to changing business needs without major overhauls or downtime.

  ### 28. Our AVD Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis L. | CEO/CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

We like that NMM allows us to bring all the features of AVD to us in an easy dashboard. Deployments are much easier and new features are added all of the time. Nerdio takes the time to understand AVD and then presents it to us in intuitive ways so that we can go about running our business and working with our customers.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

There are a lot of features we dont use because we have other software that covers what it does. Intune etc is something they are really focusing on and we accomplish it through our RMM tool.

Customer support can be limited, they are really only supporting their own software. They offload all the customer facing stuff to the MSP.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They allow us to use AVD in an easy way and deploy it quickly.

  ### 29. Great tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan S. | Help Desk Tier 2, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

It make Managing Azure So much easier, This tool is a time saver Having to Update My golden Images to Managing the Vm to turn on or off to save money on the end of the day. IT allows me to create custome scripts and eaiser to manage and get my Vm working before the dya starts.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

I Knowing THat I would acconissly have to resart the Nerdio serice in our azure tenant, Having some basic Kb like that would saved me some Issues i having with some VM

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having A centeral location for me to have all my options for Azure is helpfull. It was a pain having to Drill down in Azure menu to find a soultion or a option Is hard and cobersome. Nerdio makes it eaiser for me to find those option and Implment Saving for me and my customers.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for this feedback. It's true that some issues must be managed directly with the Azure support team. We will always do our best to answer questions and provide direction when customers contact us regarding issues of this type.

  ### 30. Nerdio is great tool to save time when setting up a new AVD Enviroment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian W. | Project Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio NMM has been great to deploy new AVD Hosts. It's very easy to setup and deploy AVD Hosts. The intergratred scripted actions is very useful for deploying new software and making sure the AVD Hosts are consistant and up to day. Overall Nerdio does same alot of time when deploying new AVD enviroments.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

In my opinion Nerdio is great for initial setups however there's not much info for performance metrix.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the automation, Nerdio has made new deployments more efficient. The built-in autoscale logic is a great cost-saving feature and is easy to setup and manage. Managing hosts and making changes is also more efficient witht he secheduling features. Also having the build in scripted actions with pre-canned scripts is also a great benefit and spending less time creating custom scripts and deploying to a specific client

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback. Improving reporting is a priority for us, as we have received similar input from many customers.

  ### 31. The Best Management Tool for M365 Tenants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaim B. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

In addition to their AVD platform which is one of the best in the market, Nerdio has now released a platform to manage M365 tenants in one place. With this we have removed all GA credential access form our Level 1 helpdesk as they now have full control from the Nerdio platform. With Nerdio you can also adjust the permision levels per depratment to limit access to some features reserved for higher level employees. Overall a great product.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

It is still limited to only features available to GDAP and not necessarily full tenant access. As someone who builds the tenants from scratch, I still have to use the GA credenitals to a tenant to configure some features.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us one place to access all of our client M365 tenants with a user friendly interface.

  ### 32. An easy way to manage over a thounsand users in different environment using Nerdio

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor R. | Technology Senior Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

How easy it's to manage and automate processes. You don't need to mess around in Azure, you have everything in the Nerdio console which has an easy-going interface and is very intuitive

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

What gets us more issues are problems related to profiles being locked where we constantly need to check the profiles on the fslogic to help the users be able to use the VDIs again.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have lots of workers and consultants around the globe that belong to different teams (IT, Finance,HR...) that need different environments. Through Nerdio we avoid having to deliver hardware and configure the systems for them, everything is on the cloud, we create their systems and they simply need to log-in and work. It's easy to use, it's fast and reduce costs.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Profile locks can be very frustrating. This often happens when an AVD session has not been closed successfully. Helpfully, Nerdio Manager gives you the ability to close open file handles from the Storage menu. This can help to resolve these issues and avoid the need to do this from the Azure portal.

  ### 33. Huge time saver and productivity booster

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio enables me to automate pretty much every aspect of AVD and deploy resources with ease. Being the sole administrator of our environment I couldn't do it without a tool like this as native AVD in Azure can be painful. There are many great features but I particularily like the the ability to automate VM image creation/maintenance and deployment along with the scripted actions. The support is excellent as well as the feature releases. Whenever I have found something missing (which is rare) I never have to wait long for it to be added as they are always making improvements.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

The interface takes a bit of getting used to and the cost has gone up a couple of times recently, but it's still well worth it and provides tremendous value.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VDI costs, specifically virtual machines and administration time. For example the Autoscaling feature is very flexible and easy to configure which immediately saves money for the organisation by reducing vms running costs.

  ### 34. Nerdio helped us to easily get started with AVD while optimizing costs from day 1

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | Director of Academic and Research Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio made our AVD journey possible by abstracting away much of the underlying complexity, while implenting RBAC controls that allow us to easily delegate tasks to our helpdesk and distributed IT teams. The Nerdio support team is responsive to community requests, with feedback incorporated quickly into each release. The training day in NYC was very useful in helping to expose more of our sysadmins to Nerdio. VDI went from something that needed a whole team to manage on-prem to something a single person can admin in the cloud. In terms of being a value-add, Nerdio continues to pay for itself each month via the cost difference of parking Azure's Premium SSD drives to Standard HDD, so everything else is icing on the cake!

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

I wish features moved from Premium to Standard (now Core) with a bit more regularity, or that some sort of progressive pricing tiers were in place (e.g. users 1-100 are x per user, users 100-1000 are 0.8x, users 1000+ are 0.6x, etc). I know it's a stretch, but it was hard to come up with anything I actually 'dislike'.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio helped us solve the issue of how to use AVD to take advantage of Microsoft's inclusion of VDA licensing costs. Without Nerdio, we might have been able to get something working after months of architecting and automating. With Nerdio, we were deploying desktops immediately, using familiar concepts for those of us coming from a Citrix or Horizon admin background.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate the comment about the features in our editions and will factor into our decision-making process in the future!

  ### 35. Nerdio Manager simplifies deployment and management of AVD and Azure resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Simplifies and streamlines the setup, deployment, maitenance, and management of AVD and other Azure resources. It reduces the risk of configuration errors, and allows more staff to work with complex concepts in easy to understand workflows. This also aids our ability to provide support to our customers, and achive postive results in less time with minimized impact.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

More advanced Azure Networking still needs to be addressed within the Azure Portal, and some undocumented features should be documented.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We service a wide array of client needs; from small companies needing to have Quickbooks hosted in small AVD enviroment, to non-profits needing a secure AVD enviroment for volunteers to work, and on to 600+ employee organizations with extensive InTune configuraitons and Azure VM Resources.

Nerdio Mangager has allowed us to quickly develop, manage, and maintain these enviroments rapidly, securely, and with digestible data on client usage and trends. We are able to lower our costs, and reach a wider appeal through the use of tools like Auto-Scaling and the ease of managing Azure Resource Reservations.

InTune integration has allowed us to reduce time recreating common or complex policies, by allowing us to export these configurations and then re-applying to other clients. Not only does this reduce time, it helps increase security and reduces risk, as we are able to apply standarized configurations that ensure best practices are followed.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for the feedback. We will review and update the documentation!

  ### 36. I love Nerdio Manager because now I do not have to work with Azure directly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moses H. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio manager has made it sometimes too easy to work with Microsoft Entra and Intune.

My day-to-day management of my Workspaces has been made much easier with this product.

Tech support for this product is great.

They offer the option to occasionally review your configurations to help you maximize the use of the product and help you reduce cost. A fresh set of eyes is useful.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Not sure if this is a downside of the product, but you do not use the Entra Portal as much so you get rusty and may have a harder time finding things when you have to use it.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a VDI cloud infrastructure and managing Intune

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> We're thrilled to hear that Nerdio Manager has made your day-to-day management of Workspaces much easier. Our tech support team is dedicated to providing great service and we're glad you've had a positive experience with them.

  ### 37. The best tool for MSPs in at least a decade, and Nerdio is a great company to work with.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott B. | Technical Services Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio Manager simplifies and streamlines AVD and other Azure features, taking weeks off of learning curves and enabling our MSP to provide offerings we otherwise wouldn't.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

I would like to see Nerdio Manager provide more context-sensitive help in reponse to error messages when deployment processes fail. These are usually permissions-related, but often it's not clear what the next steps to set those permissions are.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio Manager allows us to effectively manage the costs for a Virtual Desktop environment while ensuring it is automatically scaled to meet the workload demands of our clients. This makes it possible for us to provide solutions that we previously could not - extremely important in the post-pandemic world.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Please reach out to you Customer Success manager if you have one to discuss your needs. Please also check out our support documentation and forums for additional help!

  ### 38. NMM Makes me Brilliant!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve V. | Service Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

The most helpful things about NMM are its ability to wrap complex actions into simple mouse clicks. I can get started selling, supporting, and maintaining VDI solutions without expensive up front training. This solutions gives me a cloud engineer at a tier 1 price point.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

As wonder as NMM is, you don't always get to see how the complex tasks are being handled. You simply need to trust the process. There are times I still need to go in to the Azure portal to manage VDI machines quickly. I'm also hopeful a slightly updated skin will be applied to enhance its visual appeal.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio Manager is assisting us in scaling out our VDI deployment in a cost efficient way, allowing us to spin up machines as needed, and shut them down when they are not in use. We can do all of this without the need for a high level engineer to maintain our deployments.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share thoughtful feedback about your experience with Nerdio Manager!

  ### 39. Nerdio makes Azure a lot easier for MSP's

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Azure is great but as its core it's really designed for in-house IT, not so much for an MSP. Nerdio is the missing link that makes Azure manageable for MSP's. The unified dashboard, alerting, licensing, and vast feature set make our administration of our client's environments easier by an order of magnitude. Getting started was not too involved either, a little configuration and we were off.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

The only dislike I have about Nerdio is the pricing is largely tied to the number of users a client has, which limits its applicability to some of our clients where the cost might not be worth the squeeze.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio makes it downright EASY to automate, configure, and audit all of our clients' Azure environments. Oddly enough, Nerdio does best on the most complex items, like Azure virtual desktop, which is a bear to manage on its own with out a tool like Nerdio.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate the comment about our pricing and will factor into our decision making process in the future.

  ### 40. Couldn't do it without Nerdio!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan N. | Sr. System Admin - M365 / Azure, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

It greatly simplifies the management of customer Azure environments. We would not have the time, nor personel to support our customer Azure environments without NMM. I use NMM every day. The seamless integration with Azure is unparelleled. Their support is incredible and they make it easy to implement (they walk you through everything.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

They have not yet put out a couple of features that would be really useful (but they are constantly updating and adding such features).

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azure can be convoluted and difficult to navigate. NMM makes the process simple and easy to follow. It allows us to do the work of an entire team, with just 1 person.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! Check out this forum where you can leave feature recommendations and requests! https://nmmhelp.getnerdio.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/11909803913101-NMM-Product-and-Feature-Suggestions

  ### 41. A whirlwind of ease and efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Common sense approach to the interface and functions and extensibility, and a real sense of service delivery approach to what it does and how it accomplishes it. From day one, just getting started, resources are quickly available to help you get started and evolve the delivery of your services over time. As your use case and needs evolve, they have a healthy community, and a resource catalog of engineers to help get you where you need to be, running healthy and cost efficient. If it doesn't do it outright, their representatives and support resources typically know exactly how you can accomplish the desired result in other methods, often more than one option.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio Manager has few downsides. It is focused to a specific area of technology and includes the vast majority of components related to the technology area. All areas where I have recognized room for improvement have been accepted as feedback and in many cases improved over time with future releases. Any technology integrating in the Microsoft Cloud Ecosystem has potential for integration with other services across a wide area. Despite this, Nerdio keeps a laser focus on their core solution and value proposition, being careful not to stray too far from the focus area.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem 1 - Effectively estimating costs and then effectively ensuring the delivered solution meets the design function and cost. Nerdio solves this problem with a well groomed and focused cost estimation tool. Not only does it produce effective and flexible costing options, the results are common sense and intuitive. I can easily estimate the cost of a solution and even accomodate additional atypical costs. This allows for far more flexibility as a provider to appropriately delivery a price to the customer that meets mine and the customers needs.

Problem 2 - Effectively deploying, configuring and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktop solutions. Nerdio solves this problem by automating a great number of configuration options with common sense interfaces. Having recently been trained on Microsofts AVD certification program (AZ-140) - It was eye opening just how much manual work (or scripting) can be avoided by using Nerdio. Easily turning hours and days of work into minutes.

Problem 3 - Operations Efficiency. Nerdio helps solve the steep learning curve of Azure IaaS and Azure Virtual Desktop by reducing the options and configuration missteps into very guided interfaces that achieve the same results as the Azure Portal. Junior engineers who are not comfortable with Azure can become far more comfortable working with Azure IaaS and Virtual Desktops with ease through Nerdio, slowly graduating to more complex configurations in Azure directly.

Problem 4 - Extensibility. Nerdio solves this by NOT being like many other vendors. Many solution vendors offer an API with limited capabilities, pre-built reporting in their own tooling with its own limitations, and limited capabilities, or an outright different language to learn for extending capabilities. With Nerdio, the API is very full featured, and if something is missing they are very responsive at getting it included where it makes sense. Through the API I can generate my own reporting and bring it to my own tool of choice with no need to learn new technologies or languages. The capability to bring your own scripts through Scripted Actions, whether it is Azure Runbooks or more traditional PowerShell leaves very little that cannot be accomodated.

  ### 42. Why would you not use Nerdio?!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

The biggest and most obvious factor is the cost savings.....first and foremost just running Nerdio for its advanced auto scaling capabilities is saving us over £5,000 per month in Azure spend as opposed to running native AVD...that is not even on a big farm and essentially makes Nerdio free for us plus the extra savings.

After the obvious cost savings it has so many features I user personally day to day, scripted actions, storage account scaling and much more.

Its easy to use and the web interface is laid out well.

I have had to use customer service twice and both times they were in contact with me in around 2-4 hours.

Nerdio is in use daily within our organisation by all Service Desk & Infrastructure members.

To summerise, if you are lookin at deploying AVD and not planning on using a tool like Nerdio you will need a very good reason as to why.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

There is little to dislike but if I had to pick something at a stretch for this to be a balanced review.... I would say the lack of monitoring within Nerdio itself as it relies on native Azure monitor reporting. Also the fact that there is no option to scale storage accounts in-out based on % used trigger, only a latency trigger is currently available. Thats about it.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost savings and ease of management with a small team.

  ### 43. Top-Notch Software that just keeps getting better!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Easy to use, its so much better than native management and saves us a ton of time with its automations! The autoscaling and gold image management deserve special mention!

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

There is a minimum spend commit, which should be lowered or ideally removed. Some months we should be spending less but are still hitting that threshold so wasting money.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Native AVD has horrific Gold Image management, Nerdio turns that frown upside down and makes it essentially entirely automated, from powering the VM on, to updating our apps to then repackaging everything and deploying to our hosts.

It also enables autoscale for us, so we don't have to use the clunky autoscale that Native AVD offers.

Moving from Citrix, to AVD + Nerdio has saved us around 30k per year, plus even more in staff costs for wasting our time doing gold image updates.

  ### 44. Nerdio Automated many of the process we were doing manually.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John L. | Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

I like how Nerdio is very easy to setup and very easy to understand for future expansions. Creating new hostpools are very simple and saves allot of headaches for managing permissions and users.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Reports could be better. many of the reports are in need for improvements.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation has made it very nice for us. We have found that in our very small environment that Nerdio pretty much pays for itself as the cost for AVDs do go down as many of the systems does get powered off and Deallocated and switched to cheaper hard drives when not in use. So far we are see saving well over 60%.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you for this feedback. Reporting is an area we plan to enhance, as we have had similar feedback from many customers!

  ### 45. Nerdio Manager makes it easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil L. | Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Nerdio Manager's automations cuts the time SIGNIFICANTLY that it would take to manage Azure Virtual Desktop otherwise. Things that would take HOURS to do manually (setup/vm images/scripted taks) happen in minutes with NMM.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Only downside is the learning curve if you have no previous Azure expierence. I did have previous Azure expirence and NMM actually helped me understand some aspects of Azure quicker.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio Manager puts all of our Azure Virtual Desktop clients into a single mangement interface. Its schedulign and automation allows us to NOT have work after hours so often when deploying changes and updates. NMM does the heavy lifting with our AVD enviornemnts.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> It's great to hear that Nerdio Manager is helping you streamline the management of your Azure Virtual Desktop clients and reduce after-hours work. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to providing tools that make your job easier and more efficient.

  ### 46. AVD Deployment Simplified

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob T. | Sr. IT Support Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Our company can save 100's thousands of dollars a year, with their auto -scale features of scaling in unused hosts and reducing disk sizes when hosts are powered down

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

The error reporting on failures of tasks can be a little vague or difficult to assist in getting to the bottom of an issue

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio manager has enabled us to setup host pool deployments and allow Nerdio to do the full automation of deploying additional hosts based on rules set, to ensure we have enough VDI for all our users as and when needed without spending hours and hours ourselves doing the tasks it automates

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> We try to provide useful information in our errors, but there is always room for improvement. Please check out our support documentation and forums for help on error reporting. We also run Enterprise bootcamps to help administrators get up to speed!

  ### 47. Nerdio Manager has completely revolutionized my world of IT management

With top-notch security and stellar support, it's become my go-to, can't-live-without solution for keeping my IT operations running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

New users learning curve
pricing for smaller businesses
The initial setup for large environments can be complex

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio Manager has made my IT operations a breeze by simplifying complex tasks (after initial learning curve) and automating routine ones, saving me both time and money. It ensures my IT setup can easily grow with my business, keeps everything secure and compliant, and is super user-friendly for everyone on my team. ### 48. Nerdio is pretty great!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

I really like how it simplifies everything so much. I did not personally implement it myself so I cannot speak to that however managing it is great. Everything you need to do under one console. You will very very rarely need to sign in to Microsoft 365 admin.

I have also received great support when needed

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

When Nerdio breaks or if you have any weird issues they can be pretty tricky to track down and solve but again support is great and happy to assist

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to provision cheaper thin clients and then have them connect to their desktop in the cloud with all their apps already installed and with enough computing power to handle them. It takes quite a bit of headache out of the new user setup experience

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> We're happy to hear that Nerdio Manager has been beneficial for provisioning thin clients and simplifying the new user setup process. Thank you for your feedback!

  ### 49. Quality AVD Solution for MSPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

Scalability and easability to manage multi-tenant avd solutions. Also the ability to scale with billable hours and usage in mind. Very easy to implement and our engineer guided onboarding was excellent. Great margins for us and our customers have had success adopting the avd platform.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Not much to dislike other than the learning curve of manageability. We likely could have taken more training courses before pushing for adoption.

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud hosted platform for AVD infrastructure has reduced the amount of servers that we have to maintain significantly. We no longer worry about hardware failures or anything of the sort. Customers are also paying less for hardware as a result, which has given us more monthly ROI directly.

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your feedback - we are glad to hear about your experience with Nerdio Manager!

  ### 50. Nerdio MSP Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?**

East of management, simplistic interface.

**What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?**

Still lacking several feature sets which are similar to Citrix or Horizon for management

**What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nerdio is allowing us to consolidate management of our AVD and Cloud PC environments across or managed customers

**Official Response from Kaitlyn Ethier:**

> Appreciate the feedback! We're always open to hearing which features you want us to build. Please visit our community forum and post your feature requests. Our product managers are always keeping a close eye on great ideas that are being posted!
