**What do you like best about Narmi?**

Narmi is more than a vendor; they are a partner who moves with speed and accuracy to meet our needs. They approach every request with a “let’s do it” mindset, rather than simply checking whether it’s possible.

**What do you dislike about Narmi?**

They’re a smaller vendor, and some connections with major fintechs aren’t set up yet. That said, they’re always open to making it happen; it just depends on the other side.

**What problems is Narmi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn’t have an online account-opening process, and this affects about 50% of credit unions. Even after COVID, they created a way for us to open accounts online and then brought that same experience into the branch. As a result, the time went from about 45 minutes down to around 3 minutes.

**What do you like best about Narmi?**

I appreciate the great customer service with a small company feel, and I really like the quick response time from general managers. I also like the interaction with Alloy and the ability to perform a deep dive KYC or KYB, which helps rule out any fraudulent applications through SSN verification, DOB, Name, IP address, email, phone, and address checks. It's beneficial to have the QualiFile ChexSystems report and OFAC all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Narmi?**

Sometimes slow on tickets, especially if an application gets stuck. Using middleware sometimes delays resolution as there are three parties involved. The initial setup took way longer than expected and cost more due to being the first core connecting via middleware. Mapping all the fields needed with middleware and engaging the core provider was time-consuming and costly.

**What problems is Narmi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Narmi expands our exposure with an online presence and quickens in-branch account opening. It prevents fraud with thorough verification and consolidates reports and checks. The Alloy integration lets us do detailed KYC/KYB, streamlining fraud detection and compliance tasks.

**What do you like best about Narmi?**

Narmi delivers on what they say they can do. That has been true even for items they’ve said are roadmapped for future development. With other vendors, you often hear about features that are “coming,” but they may or may not ever happen within the timeline promised. Narmi actually follows through and delivers on those promises.

**What do you dislike about Narmi?**

Narmi has excellent staff and employees, although the turnover rate seems a bit high, since I’ve worked with quite a few different reps over time.

**What problems is Narmi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn’t have an online account-opening product for business and wanted something that offered integration options.  After switching to Narmi, our online account opening has been smooth for both consumer and business accounts. They’ve also continued to make improvements that speed up the onboarding process since we’ve been with them. The additional improvements coming this year will leverage AI and give us the option to make the experience even better for customers.

**What do you like best about Narmi?**

I really appreciate collaborating with Narmi. It genuinely feels like we’re one team working together to find the best solutions. They’re always willing to listen to our input and partner with us to clearly define what our customers need.

**What do you dislike about Narmi?**

I can’t really think of any specific “dislikes.” I’m mainly looking forward to the upcoming features and future upgrades that will be offered in collaboration with our core vendor and other vendors.

**What problems is Narmi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The online account-opening process is seamless and takes a lot less time than our previous process. We also benefit from the Staff-Led Business account-opening option because it takes the guesswork out of what’s needed to open a business account.

**What do you like best about Narmi?**

I really appreciate the care their GM team puts into our partnership. They’re consistently quick to respond to questions and genuinely open to feedback on how they can make the product even better.

**What do you dislike about Narmi?**

They’re a little behind the curve on certain features, particularly around lending capabilities and the application review process. That said, they’re consistently working to improve the product and close the gap so it stays neck and neck with competitors.

**What problems is Narmi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Narmi has improved our in-branch account-opening experience. We recently launched their staff-led account opening, and it reduced our opening time from 30–45 minutes to 7–10 minutes. This gives our representatives more time to discuss the next best product and focus on relationship-building conversations with our new members.

Narmi is easy to use and navigate. Also, Narmi support is always very responsive and quick to resolve any issues I come across. They are an invaluable tool for my job.

**What do you dislike about Narmi?**

Sometimes, there are issues that arise not from Narmi but from Alloy and it requires getting them involved to remedy the problem. However, Alloy is usually very helpful as well.

It is allowing me to review account applications in a centralized place and use the tags to get a feel for the potential risks of applicants. This is extremely important in combating fraud as well as determining what account types a person is eligible for.

I really appreciate that they are forward-thinking and constantly evolving. I also find the Reports dashboard extremely valuable, as the reporting can be very broad or granular depending on what data you need to pull.

Narmi has been a partner from the very beginning. I genuinely feel that Narmi keeps our members’ best interests in mind.

I find the support system tough to follow. Support tickets are submitted via email, and it would be much easier to have a JIRA or a dashboard where we can track and follow tickets, instead of having to reference multiple emails.

I did not like that continuation emails are not sent automatically, and I wish it would have automatically declined applicants who have already been denied in past applications

They recently solved an issue with the amount of fraud I was getting. They helped assist me and find a way to lessen the fraud risk
