What do you like best about Nacelle?

Their technical support is a game changer. Their success managers help guide us through setup, work directly with our developers and act as a liason between Vercel and other tools needed to move our site to a headless environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nacelle?

As the product is still new within the past few years, there are plenty of updates being made. Their roadmap is extensive, which I feel is a good thing and a strong indication of future improvements. Overall I'm a bit less technical so it's not as clear things I can do to make changes to my site without the support of our development team. Perhaps though that's how it's intended? What do you like best about Nacelle?

Communication, Attention to Detail and understanding of our internal needs. The team consistently asks how the platform could be improved and altered especially since moving into V2. We've always felt like we were in good hands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nacelle?

Since moving into V2, we've noticed some issues that have yet to get resolved. I know that we're one of the first clients to go-live with V2 if not the first so that's understandable, we've just found that some issues continue to be present without a full fix. What do you like best about Nacelle?

Before launch, we never felt alone and the Nacelle team was really supportive during the entire process. We went into a few bumps and they were always open to explain and provide helpful answers. What do you dislike about Nacelle?

What do you like best about Nacelle?

The Nacelle team has created a process and solution that adds structure to what otherwise can be pretty chaotic. They've documented their product so that it's approachable from different frameworks and development backgrounds. They are organized and proactive about scheduling meetings, reviewing code, and resolving blockers during the development phase. Their team has a lot of experience with headless eCommerce, so we leverage them to solve unique challenges that a modern tech stack can create. "Moved to a Headless Build for the first-time with Nacelle"
What do you like best about Nacelle?

Nacelle guided our development team for our first Headless site built with Vue/Nuxt. We considered doing the entire build ourselves but after the migration and launch, we were happy to have expertise and support along the way with a shared Slack channel. The Nacelle product itself as an layer between our platforms (CMS, Shopify, Site) helped to free up development time which enabled us to focus on the most important aspect of the site: the front-end build and design which ultimately impacts customer experience. What do you dislike about Nacelle?

Headless is still fairly new to 3rd party vendors and integrations where we've had issues with vendors not understanding our new site and/or was so used to Shopify Themes (1 click integration), that there sometimes needs to be work-arounds when it comes to integrating them into the new site. I suggest engaging all existing 3rd party vendors before migrating to ensure they are aware and educated on the differences between the old site and new headless build so they can provide recommendations. - Geart Abstraction layer to simplify overhead

- Facilitate eventual consistency of data

What do you dislike about Nacelle?

- Quickly evolving more visibility into roadmap and features would be a plus.

- Starter kit does not support custom product configuration like stacking, be prepared to handle more complex product configuration with your PWA on your own.

- Nacelle just won't give you better site speed scores( Basic starter kit is very performant!). You need to focus on a clean application and reduce your 3rd party dependencies where you can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Nacelle?

From day 0, the Nacelle team has been there for our agency and clients. Having been in e-commerce for the better part of my professional career, it's not often you interface with partners that sell the dream and service it as well -- often times it's about mitigating the nightmare post-contract signatures. "Headless" as a concept is new, and thus frightening for the majority of our clients. Nacelle has not only made this transition easy, but they've explained every step in major detail, so all stakeholders are not only aware but actively learning towards creating a better, more robust platform that is truly focused on supercharging their growth. Is the money well spent? I'd unequivocally say YES. Without going into detail, the money we spent was made upon launch day with CTR expanding such that the cost was already paid for within hours.
