Solid Performance Uplift. Their success managers help guide us through setup, work directly with our developers and act as a liason between Vercel and other tools needed to move our site to a headless environment. **What do you dislike about Nacelle?** As the product is still new within the past few years, there are plenty of updates being made. Their roadmap is extensive, which I feel is a good thing and a strong indication of future improvements. Overall I'm a bit less technical so it's not as clear things I can do to make changes to my site without the support of our development team. Perhaps though that's how it's intended? **What problems is Nacelle solving and how is that benefiting you?** More easily moving websites to a headless front-end environment. Nacelle brings technical support unmatched in the marketplace and offers a great solution in addition to what the development teams or otherwise out of the box native tools can provide. ### 2. I know that we're one of the first clients to go-live with V2 if not the first so that's understandable, we've just found that some issues continue to be present without a full fix. We'd like to get to the bottom of it and know that the team is already looking into these issues. **What problems is Nacelle solving and how is that benefiting you?** UI/UX, Navigation, Load Times through Nacelle vs. Vercel. We went into a few bumps and they were always open to explain and provide helpful answers. A very organized tracking process and ticket system and an open slack channel helped us work as a team and provide a good experience. **What do you dislike about Nacelle?** Most of the issues from the technical perspective should have been easier to solve if we have technical lead support BEFORE the implementation. I think we should have done a tech prep in advance to avoid some issues during the project execution. **What problems is Nacelle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our client (StFrank) wanted to create the best customer experience and then have better KPIs and performance. Itยดs still too early to say they have achieved all of that but based on the current analytics they must be very satisfied with the results they are achieving with Nacelle. The feeling of a much faster site is without question something that was present since the first minute of being live. ### 5. They've documented their product so that it's approachable from different frameworks and development backgrounds. They are organized and proactive about scheduling meetings, reviewing code, and resolving blockers during the development phase. Their team has a lot of experience with headless eCommerce, so we leverage them to solve unique challenges that a modern tech stack can create. We enjoy working with the Nacelle team and feel that their approach to improving frameworks and approaching existing problems aligns well with ours. **What do you dislike about Nacelle?** It's expensive, but we believe its worth the cost. As someone who isn't a developer, I feel like I still don't have a great idea of what Nacelle does. **Recommendations to others considering Nacelle:** If you want to support a high-end headless eCommerce site with a small development team you need to talk to Nacelle. **What problems is Nacelle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're trying to make headless builds more stable in general. Nacelle seems to have made the process of setting up API call to Shopify and the CMS easier for the developers. But I need to get more information to confirm that. ### 6. We considered doing the entire build ourselves but after the migration and launch, we were happy to have expertise and support along the way with a shared Slack channel. The Nacelle product itself as an layer between our platforms (CMS, Shopify, Site) helped to free up development time which enabled us to focus on the most important aspect of the site: the front-end build and design which ultimately impacts customer experience. **What do you dislike about Nacelle?** Headless is still fairly new to 3rd party vendors and integrations where we've had issues with vendors not understanding our new site and/or was so used to Shopify Themes (1 click integration), that there sometimes needs to be work-arounds when it comes to integrating them into the new site. I suggest engaging all existing 3rd party vendors before migrating to ensure they are aware and educated on the differences between the old site and new headless build so they can provide recommendations. **Recommendations to others considering Nacelle:** Talk with all vendors you currently use about moving to Headless before you do it. Understand if their Headless solution is less feature-rich than their native Shopify solution. **What problems is Nacelle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were solving page load speed where we have a significant amount of rich media assets to help the user buy color makeup online. In addition, our developer experience wasn't ideal and needed a new modern framework and new CMS to work with. ### 7. Having been in e-commerce for the better part of my professional career, it's not often you interface with partners that sell the dream and service it as well -- often times it's about mitigating the nightmare post-contract signatures. "Headless" as a concept is new, and thus frightening for the majority of our clients. Nacelle has not only made this transition easy, but they've explained every step in major detail, so all stakeholders are not only aware but actively learning towards creating a better, more robust platform that is truly focused on supercharging their growth. Is the money well spent? I'd unequivocally say YES. Without going into detail, the money we spent was made upon launch day with CTR expanding such that the cost was already paid for within hours. **What do you dislike about Nacelle?** Nothing. Time is my only issue -- but that's more or less the way the cookie crumbles. FAST and CHEAP don't mix, so stop trying. **Recommendations to others considering Nacelle:** Book a meeting and feel it out. I wasn't asked to make a commitment or sign anything until pretty far into the sales cycle. I've been in eCommerce for over 20 Years. This is the fourth time that I have interfaced with a team that is this solid. The quickstart guides will get you setup with a 'working' store in under a week. Not to mention, I don't have to manage a team of 5 engineers to maintain my ETL layers. BEST MONEY YOU CAN SPEND, if you're looking to scale outside of the liquid ecosystem. **What do you dislike about Nacelle?** Nothing... Nacelle is an amazing partner. **What problems is Nacelle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Site speed and usability were the top two issues we were looking to solve. The setup is fast; the data comes across flawlessly. We'd recommend Nacelle for anyone looking to shift to headless commerce. **What do you dislike about Nacelle?** They seem to be building processes now, which we were a part of because we were an early client. It would have been nice to have learned from someone like us for our implementation, but all in all they did a fantastic job and we were happy to have worked with them. **What problems is Nacelle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking to make our site editable with no code for faster experimentation and improve site speed.
