"Unified Network Management with Room for Growth"
4/5
What do you like best about Motadata ObserveOps?

I like Motadata ObserveOps because it offers centralized network visibility by combining circuit and device monitoring, bandwidth monitoring, alerts, dashboards, reporting, and NCCM all on one platform, which is efficient for NOC operations. I appreciate the way it provides our NOC team centralized visibility and allows for faster operational response. Its network monitoring and alerts help us quickly identify circuit outages, latency, packet loss, and performance issues while NCCM simplifies configuration backup, restore, and change management, reducing manual effort and improving troubleshooting and network reliability. Transitioning from our previous solution to Motadata ObserveOps has given us a more centralized device monitoring experience with consolidated capabilities that enhance our ISP/NOC operations. The initial setup was relatively easy and straightforward, making it simple to get basic device monitoring and configuration going, though some ISP-specific customization was necessary. What do you dislike about Motadata ObserveOps?

The main areas for improvement with Motadata ObserveOps are reporting flexibility, role-based access, and bulk operation features. Department-wise report visibility should be more granular, with automatic parent-child group selection and deselection. Read-only users should have the ability to select different report time durations without needing to edit configurations. Additionally, better bulk configuration and reporting options for links, groups, and permissions would enhance efficiency, especially when managing large numbers of devices and links in a large ISP/NOC environment. These enhancements would make Motadata ObserveOps more suitable for large-scale operations with multiple departments and users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Motadata ObserveOps: Comprehensive Hybrid IT Monitoring"
5/5
What do you like best about Motadata ObserveOps?

What I like best about Motadata ObserveOps is its ability to provide a centralized monitoring platform that meets the needs of many Malaysian enterprises. It supports monitoring for hybrid IT environments, including on-premises infrastructure, virtual machines, cloud resources, and network devices from different vendors. The customizable dashboards and proactive alerting help IT teams reduce incident response time and improve service availability. The solution is competitively priced compared to some global enterprise monitoring platforms, making it a practical option for organizations in Malaysia that require enterprise-grade monitoring. The local technical support and flexibility during implementation also make it easier to deliver successful projects for customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motadata ObserveOps?

Overall, Motadata ObserveOps is a stable and effective monitoring platform with very few significant disadvantages in my experience. It covers most of the key IT infrastructure monitoring needs well, including servers, network devices, and applications, with good visibility and alerting capabilities.

One area that could be further enhanced is expanding support for Mobile Device Management (MDM) monitoring, so that organizations can have even more unified visibility across both infrastructure and endpoint/mobile devices within a single platform. This would make the solution even more comprehensive for modern IT environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
