Monosnap Reviews & Product Details

Based on my role, I use Monosnap for:

1. Making screenshots with clear descriptions and highlighting the needed areas in SS

2. Recording video of the user journeys in the application

3. Monosnap allows creating complex screenshots that contain several displays or merging a few screenshots into one Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Program stability time-to-time is not firm:

1. On Windows machine Monosnap could freeze(completly, hard close needed) time to time

2. On MacOS, the Application returns the last screenshot that was copied, but the previous one (which is really frustrating because you can occasionally share a sensitive picture, meantime you are confident that you are sharing the right one) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like about Monosnap is that it's very simple and straightforward - there are not too many functions, which helps avoid clutter, but the functions that are there are extremely intuitive to use and provide great value for quick edits. Monosnap was very easy to implement and I use it multiple times a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downfall of Monosnap is that it is sometimes slow. Usually, image uploads are fast, but it sometimes takes several seconds for an image to generate and upload, which hinders my work process a bit, but it's not that big of a deal Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The annotation features are great - very easy to blur areas, add text, and other annotations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you need to screenshot something that appears only on hover, this is difficult or impossible to do (I haven't found a way to do it) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love this tool as follows:

1. Best tool for editing screenshots with many features like crop, highlighting, zoom in and out option and so on.

2. Creates high-quality GIFS, which I like the most,

3. Captures full screen or partial.

4. Drag and drop option Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I installed the app 3 years ago, it was fast, but it lags too much after the subscription option in this app. Only this is the problem I am facing with this app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to take a full or partial screenshot, then either save to local computer or upload to Monosnap cloud and share url to uploaded image Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Windows desktop app is not 100% reliable, often times crashing when trying to take a partial screenshot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
