It offers great capabilities to tag your bank transactions and simplify your reconciliation. The API interface is very well-designed and easy to use. It offers a useful middleware to connect with the bank without worrying too much about banking specificities. **What do you dislike about Modern Treasury?** Not much to dislike about Modern Treasury from a technical point of view. They offer great tooling for most of the generic use cases. If we need specific use cases such as check bundle deposit and handling the exception workflow from a reconciliation point of view, then it's easier to build it in-house as Modern treasury doesn't support those specific use cases. **What problems is Modern Treasury solving and how is that benefiting you?** Modern Treasury helped us automate our payment workflows and the reconciliation which goes with it. ### 2. I like that I can search for payments using our company's unique metadata that is tied to each payment. I also really like the details timeline of events on each payment and the detail it provides. **What do you dislike about Modern Treasury?** One thing I wish I could do in Modern Treasury is download files within the platform. Currently if you want to export a list of transactions or a payment confirmation letter you have to hit export, which sends you an email, which sends you a link to download the file. I wish the file download was integrated in the platform. **What problems is Modern Treasury solving and how is that benefiting you?** Modern Treasury funtions as our payment processor for our employee reimbursement product, and handle several thousands of transactions a week and ensure they get deposited to our customers' bank accounts. They also provide reconcilation and return reporting for payments that may have failed. ### 3. The user-friendly interface makes managing payments and reconciling a breeze. Its automation features have saved us many hours, significantly reducing manual errors and improving our overall efficiency. Customer support is also top-notch, always responsive, and knowledgeable. **What do you dislike about Modern Treasury?** Reconciling wires is great, but the process of reconciling check deposits can be cumbersome. Would be helpful to have the ability to un-reconcile as well as reconcile multiple EPs to one Check, or one EP to multiple checks. **What problems is Modern Treasury solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to quickly and easily verify incoming payments (wires/checks) as well as reconcile at a much faster pace. ### 5. This software truly is a gem and makes our banking and payments at our company much more smooth than if we had to login/integrate with our bank. I would love to have the ability to click into wire and ACH payments received to understand the breakdown of funds to apply in our manual recon work. **What problems is Modern Treasury solving and how is that benefiting you?** Modern Treasury holds our bank account information we collect from our customers in a secure way we didn't have before.
