"Very outdated and not interactive at all. My website looks like its 5 years old."

What do you like best about Modern Campus?

The biggest upside to OU Campus is their IT department. Every time I call they have an answer and will fix my problem immediately. They are intelligent and know what they are doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Modern Campus?

I don't like how little of power I have to change my website. The IT department is nice, but I wish I didn't have to call them every time to add a page to my Left Nav. Also, formatting is a nightmare. I don't even know where to begin. It makes me shiver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We need more flexibility when it comes to designing the webpage and it needs to be more interactive! Going from Wix to OU has been quite disappointing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Modern Campus?

I like the OU Campus tool because it is a good website and it is pretty easy to use. It is simple and user friendly. There are many different features you can use to customize the website you are trying to build. It is also easy to use with multiple departments. I also like that I can update information as necessary to the websites I am managing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Modern Campus?

The only thing I dont like about the OU Campus tool is the check in feature. I dont like that it doesnt automatically check someone out of a website when they have not been using it for a while. I also dont like that when you put in certain characters into the OU campus website, it will create issues for your website and you are unable to publish certain material. While there already are many features to customize your website, I think it would be good if there was more options for customization. I also was able to do hyperlinks easier than i was before. We are able to post jobs for our students at our university through OU campus. This is a great resource for us to get the message out about open employment opportunities. What do you like best about Modern Campus?

"Dynamic Linking" - A great feature... It saves us lots of time and hassle when we conduct a site redesign. PLUS, the idea of staging server where we can preview changes in an interactive environment before publish ing live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Modern Campus?

The source code editor leave much to be desired. EX: When a tag is selected ALL instances of that tag "highlight" instead of only the closing tag for that element. It would be GREAT if OU could employ the Brackets API as it's built-in code editor: http://brackets.io/. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OU Campus is our CMS for all "official" University of Arkansas web sites. It gives us the power to create and maintain sites with multiple levels of users throughout campus. OU Campus gives us a elegant way to combine site wide include files upon publication. What do you like best about Modern Campus?

The software was designed specifically for higher education clientele, which made managing webpages within this setting more straight-forward. What do you like best about Modern Campus?

OmniUpdate is simple and works much like a word processor. From a content manager's perspective, minimal web knowledge is actually needed. Having used this now daily for 3 years, I have hardly ever experienced any lagging or major issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Modern Campus?

Unfortunately, OU's customer service needs much improvement. Submitting an issue to them is almost useless. In my experience, they never follow up or address any issues that have been submitted. There are a few minor quirks in the CMS that are very frustrating and are probably very simple fixes on their end if they actually cared. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a wonderful, user-friendly product if your company has a great in-house support team. If you are going to rely heavily on OU customer support you should look elsewhere Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
