## Mission Control Reviews
  ### 1. Excellent Project management add on to Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew P. | Finance & Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

We found the ability to link from opportunities in Salesforce onto creating projects that provides the full flow of winning an opportunities right through to managing the project. The ability for staff to record timesheets to the project and then Project Managers can easily keep track of how their project is on budget or more resource required.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Only dislike we have, which may be us not fully deploying the right knowledge is the timesheet module has both billable and Non-billable which as we only charge time out as billable some staff members get confused with the two boxes and leads to manual corrections by administrators.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

If you are looking for a tool that easily helps you project manage, track timesheet data and at a reasonable cost Mission control is an excellent solution.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Mission control we use to use timesheets in excel per staff then would have to manual port timesheet data to another excel sheet per project. Also if we wanted to compare numerous projects we would need to build a new spreadsheet based on which project data we wanted to look at. Using Mission control has helped automate this data and we can view Project data in real time. Also time is valued within the project making project reporting easy & ability to build grant reports seamless. Furthermore, before Mission control we used Salesforce as a CRM and still do, however when opportunities where Won sometime a project would not be created in excel for months or be able to link to which opportunity that started this project. We now have the bridge to that data.

  ### 2. Mission Control allows us to manage our business to a level of detail we could never do otherwise.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin D. | Salesforce.com Instructor, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I like how Mission Control is at its core still Salesforce - the data structure behind the scenes is very logical, and we've easily been able to still customise where we've needed to. But then it also adds very cool custom functionality - such as the Scheduler and Timesheet - that we could never have created ourselves. Our users find it a seamless experience to be moving between what Salesforce already does and what Mission Control now does.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

This is not necessarily a criticism of the product, but in order to deploy, Mission Control forced us to understand our own business better than we ever had to before, or else we could not have begun to implement. We had to spend time and ask a lot of questions of ourselves and our own processes before we could even commence. As a result though we now understand our own business much better and have created a lot of new uniform processes.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Mission Control includes a LOT of amazing features - don't try and deploy them all straight away. Let your users get used to fundamental changes first and then introduce new features gradually.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Mission Control we found it very difficult to manage large and complex projects involving multiple deliverables, locations, resources, and the effort being consumed. This is now the bread and butter of how we use Salesforce. We are also realising that with the extra data and detail being captured by Mission Control, we can often go back and easily create reports, dashboards and metrics that we didn't previously realise we would have wanted and that we wouldn't have been able to obtain using the processes pre-Mission Control.

  ### 3. Mission Control Project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie T. | Global Salesforce.com Project Delivery Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I love how organised I can be with a project and weekly stakeholder reporting is a breeze where I can let my stakeholders know exactly where a project (or multiple projects) are at instantly. I also love the support video's that display the existing functionality and new feature releases (rather than reading through release notes, the video's are extremely helpful and also a great self paced learning tool particularly for on-boarding of new staff). Mission Control support is second to none. We have always found that Colin is extremely helpful and responsive to all of our queries. Colin even took the time whilst he was in Brisbane to come and meet with my team to help them with adoption when we first implemented Mission Control. Very happy customer !!!

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Nothing really ... I find Mission Control an excellent project management tool that is very intuitive and easy to use.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility on resources and overall up to 30 different projects at a glance

  ### 4. Fantastic project management software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark G. | Consumer Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Integrates tightly with our Salesforce implementation and allows us to standardise and track many of our processes. Aprika customised some functions for us and are always responsive if any changes or assistance is required. So many features, we barely even scratch the surface with this tool. We are still using Salesforce Classic and it works perfectly. Setup of new project templates is easily done by our staff.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Adding a new user can be a little tricky sometimes adding a licence, permission set and a role - would be good if this could be automated with a wizard. But understandable given the level of control it offers.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have many standard processes that are repeated on a daily basis across multiple teams - keeping track of all these little projects and processes is only possible with some sort of management tool, and Mission Control allows us to do this with ease.

  ### 5. Best tool we've purchased from the Salesforce AppExchange

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wendy S. | Database/Salesforce Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

It's very easy to install and set up and integrates seamlessly with Salesforce. The documentation, training videos and knowledge base are all top notch. Out of the box, it does everything you need in a project management tool. It is saving us time setting up projects and giving us great insight into how our projects are performing as well as helping us manage capacity for our teams. On top of all of that, their support team is awesome! I can't say enough good things about the support we've received. They are quick to respond and always have great advice and solutions for any issues and question I have.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

You have to know and understand project management terminology otherwise may not understand all of the tools available to you.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating projects quickly using pre-built templates. It is helping us plan projects better and capacity of our team members and know ahead of time if they need more work or if they will be overwhelmed. It is also helping us know before a project goes off the rails.

  ### 6. Pretty good so far!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramon M. | Ninja, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The elimination of duplication. The workflow is such that we - the entire orginisation has only have one place to update information. Probably second best is similar .. and that is the availability of the information in one place! Not having to search multiple places to find something is fantastic!

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

I think there might be too many "ways" to do the same thing. Like too many paths on a bush walk to get to the same destination. but you might also get somewhere else... or lost! I guess what I am saying is that a single step by step (idiot proof) workflow would be awesome!... that said I think that is more of a Salesforce thing than a Mission Control issue, or at least how SHE software have implemented it.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Be clear about your problem that you are wanting Mission Control to be the fix. If you can see the issue clearly the solution is much more elegant.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said above not having more than one system to update with project details. Previously I had three separate places, Trello, Smartsheets and Dynamics / CRM, to update. Each had their own reporting function - Trello was my main "tool", where Smartsheets was used for department reporting and Dynamics for more of an orginisational view. It felt like for each hour of actual work equated to 20 mins of reporting.
That coupled with the fact that the marketing and sales teams were using an entirely different system to track leads - opportunities and put together statement of work (SOW) documents, which in turn would need to be replicated within our (Project Management) own solutions to start tracking against projects .. the whole thing was just way too cumbersome.

  ### 7. Exceptional Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelby H. | Director of Project Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I like how I can tailor the tool to my specific needs. The functionalities are somewhat endless so if we change processes or need anything additional I know that Mission Control can accommodate my changing business landscape. I also like that since the application is embedded into Salesforce, I can hide certain objects or fields so that it doesn't overwhelm my team.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

I do not like the "Total Hours Remaining" field on the project, milestone and action level. It does not calculate hours when an action goes over hours into the negatives - it just hits zero. Our team hides this field and puts in a formula field so we know not only if an action went over time, but by how much. Other than that one field, there is not much else that we dislike about the tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Mission Control is far superior than the other project management tools on the market. Once you download the application - start using the basics, identify your day-to-day process and modify the tool from there if needed

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it as a daily project management tool to track internal and client facing projects from start to finish. The benefits we realized - we have developed a robust project process, enabled more transparency, fostered greater communication, got better at capacity planning, been able to identify and mitigate risks faster, be more profitable on projects, and developed more targets metrics for reporting.

  ### 8. Great company, great app!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris F. | Salesforce Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

It's simple to install. It's managed and updated frequently. It's easy to scale and it's easy to customize, since it's all on the platform.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There have been some nagging buggs with updating date ranges through the Gantt UI, but I believe most of those have been addressed.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

It works, the price point is very competitive, it's easy to install and manage. The team at Aprika is great to work with. Colin is a great guy to work with and exceedingly patient.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have a clear view into what services were delivered when, and our finance team can feel comfortable with revenue recognition. We've also increased services revenue by increasing visibility of services effort to the sales team and not leaving dollars on the table. We've integrated Mission Control with CPQ Billing to such an extent that we have a stable, flexible, and scalable solution when folding in new acquisitions to our services organization, and new team members are overjoyed to move to working in our environment.

  ### 9. Scalable Project Management on Salesforce Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas C. | ERP Systems Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

This app has been very well thought through behind the scenes. We had used other project management tools in Salesforce before, but we were constantly bogged down by timeout errors, slow load times, and other processing issues. The architecture that this app uses is fantastic, allowing users to complete their work without having to worry about whether or not the system is up to the task. On top of that, features are constantly improving. There is a steady stream of releases, each with detailed release notes. Our end users reap some benefits from new features or enhancements from almost every release.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

This is very nitpicky, but it's worth mentioning that the company behind Mission Control is based in Australia. As a US based company, some of the terminology that is used comes off as a little unnatural. By no means is that anything other than a minor speedbump, but we have had a handful of users request that we rename certain fields or objects. Since it's a managed package, our options there are limited, but once you work with the tool for a while, you don't notice it nearly as much.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Mission Control is very flexible, but there are project structures that work better with it than others. If you don't have a well-defined project structure, look to the app and documentation for guidance. If you do, make sure you trial your plans to know that it's going to fit inside the best practices.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a lot of projects that we manage on a day to day basis, with lots of resources attached to those projects. Mission Control gives us the ability to spin up projects from a template, but quickly customize those projects to meet the specific needs of that PM.

  ### 10. Project Management at Scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott L. | Lead Technical Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I really like that I can spin up teams quickly to use the application. We have tons of data that we can track on a project to prove profitability, effectiveness and more. The tool has some great robust features that makes it easy to make create an entire project timeline and related features at the onset. It is great to assign resources and see how this project stacks against the rest of the company project list. As a company we have built all of our services on Salesforce so having a Salesforce first project management application is stellar for us. It is nice to not have to create or manage integration between Salesforce and a different project management application. Working with Aprika has been great - they provide help and feedback quickly and are always a pleasure to deal with.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There structure has a lot of fields and features - sometimes its easy to get lost in all the options. We have customized our page layouts and related records to pair down to exactly what we wanted. Thats the beauty of this app on the Salesforce platform that even though it is a managed package we can still make it our own with our own process behind the application.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been having issues allowing projects to go too long or over budget. We have been able to monitor budget and timeline with the implementation of Mission Control. Since our initial implementation we have been able to deliver project in scope, on time, and on budget or even slightly under. We are jazzed about the value this has brought for us.

  ### 11. Project Management Inside Your Salesforce Environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nate R. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control is an excellent project management platform that enables you to track all of your projects and deliverables in one place. You're likely already using Salesforce for other parts of your business, now you can unify all business processes together. If you have your sales process in Salesforce, you can use Mission Control to track the deliverables and outcomes of those sales.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Mission Control is somewhat complex to set up. The environment can be customized to your unique needs, but you might have some features that you won't use, and you may have to adopt some existing processes to the environment.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Plan to work with an implementation partner. Your experience will be faster and you will end up ahead in the long-run.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Mission Control as our internal PM software. We track all projects, milestones, actions, and time in the system. We are a Salesforce Implementation Partner, so we were already tracking our sales pipeline. Now we can link those closed sales to actual work. And when work is completed, the deliverables are linked back to the opportunities.

  ### 12. Outstanding Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica S. | Business Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

What is most helpful with Mission Control is the ability to keep track of our projects as well as staffing capacity. I love how easy Mission Control is to use. If you don't know how to do something within Mission Control, reaching out to customer service works really well. The company is fast to respond and help with the situation you are in.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

What is least helpful with Mission Control is some of the reporting. Wondering if there can be a way to make this part a little more user friendly. There are times when we have to download a report and manipulate the data to receive all of the information needed.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problems we are solving with Mission Control has to do with watching our staff capacity. Making sure that we aren't overbooked. We also appreciate the ease in setting up and managing projects. Very effective tool.

  ### 13. Great tool and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roger B. | Head of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control (MC) provides all features to support classical project management as well as agile approaches. The ressource planning provides great support for every supervisor and the included build-tools and reports facilitates the daily work. As MC is completly based on Salesforce standards you benefit from all possibilities to highly individualize your MC according to your needs.

The support team reacts very fast and delivers quick solutions. The product managent is open minded for any improvement.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Some labels cannot be translated. Hours billable should be possible on checklist item level to track effort. Links between checklist items should be possibel.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We organize all department activities up to all projects. The inbuild ressource planning flattens our workload and provides more reliability for each project manager. In total we gain more transparency and accuracy.

  ### 14. Mission Control allows us to easily manage projects across our business and so easily customisable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vickie J. | Business Technology Manager, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

We have been using Mission Control for about a year now and it's given us the ability to easily manage our projects, understand who is doing what when, and who has capacity. It allows us to easily track time, manage tasks and provide an overall view to management of projects across the company. Being native to Salesforce, this allowed us to add small customisations specific to our business requirements. The Mission Control team provides regular updates and their customer service is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

I can't think of anything I dislike about Mission Control.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now able to easily see projects across the company and track time for those projects. This has given us far more of an insight into resource costs and time taken for each project, and each part of the business.

  ### 15. Great tool for managing resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynn G. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

We have implemented this for customers and it is pretty straight forward for the user. It is powerful and can be used for different types of projects with some customization, which we have done for our clients. Great customer service with the team at Aprika!! We will continue to suggest this product. The best part of this product, which is key, is that you can plan and schedule resources without them being a user in the system. This means they can be contacts and you do not need a Salesforce license for all that are planned.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Would like to have a little more control around the filtering of resources that fit a situation but we got around that by combining skills. Not a show stopper.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily resource management.

  ### 16. Useful project management software on the force.com platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan A. | ERP Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The object hierarchy is well laid-out. It's flexible enough to support multiple different use-cases without requiring much customization on the platform. The whiteboard and gantt are well designed.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

We had some issues with scaling based on the number of Projects/Actions we were creating. This was pretty trivially resolved with advice from their support to archive some of the work that didn't need to display in the various visual tools. We haven't had any issues with scaling since.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Mission Control over other standalone platforms to better connect our data in our CRM to our projects. This allows better visibility for our resources into specific and relevant information that they might not otherwise have access to in an app that wasn't integrated into salesforce.

  ### 17. Mission Control - Tobacco Dock Venues Ltd

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew W. | L, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

It's a solid PM platform that is adaptable and fits nicely into the general Salesforce.com platform

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Over-reliance on Visualforce pages and layouts that limits customisation, for example when adding Roles (Asset) I had to resort to a separate object that the users could relate to, for populating records for a custom use case

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using the scheduler function to define and utilise a booking engine, for Sales and Event Operations functions, whilst the VF driven function is good, we have had to adapt the existing system to replicate an "Action" / "Project" to reflect in the Scheduler. We are also using the native system for more traditional project management in the form of Operations and Event Management / Maintenance

  ### 18. Good - Once you know what you're doing!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharnie W. | Head of Property Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Visual representations of projects is a great feature. and the integration into salesforce is why we found mission control for our company so that's is a very big feature for us.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

It can be confusing and overwhelming to use. I would like a beginners guide to show me where to get started and what for. There is not enough instruction or a direct onboarding process where the company can show you how it is best for your business so you're just left guessing.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Do your research for a long time and begin training prior to implementing the product.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are keeping on track better and breaking things down into more detail. Therefore we have much better use of our resources which is great!

  ### 19. Mission Control - Powering Your Professional Services on Salesforce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will N. | Delivery Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control provides a single place to manage our requirements, project planning, timekeeping, and invoicing in one location. It is easy to get a picture of where any project stands with regard to budget and hours, as everything rolls up to the project level. It allows us to document risks and issues associated with a project and keep everything under control.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Some of project metrics don't match up to our workflow and custom dashboard pages cannot be easily modified to show what we would like.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control allows us to easily track time against project tasks, manage consultant utilization and resource allocation and track project requirements, issues and risks on the platform that is core to our business.

  ### 20. Mission Control - The best management platform for complex projects.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agata N. | Senior Marketing Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

MC team listens to the users and make contestant upgrades. This platform evolves on regular basis. Support team in incredible - getting support immediately upon request. Definitely it is user friendly tool and very well designed.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There's absolutely nothing that needs extra attention. As an aerospace company we manage a lot of complex projects with lots of milestones, tasks and users. We have nothing but positive experience working with the team and the platform.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control connected cross functional teams to manage long term projects. We were able to connect engineering, operations, marketing and sales team to have access and full visibility and the status of the projects. Kanban whiteboard helped us manage team workload.

  ### 21. Mission Control for Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Overall it is easy to use and gives a full picture of the projects we are working on. A key feature that I find useful is being able to schedule actions to appear in project members timesheets at specific times to avoid clutter building up in their timesheets.

The team also release regular updates for the platform expanding its versatility and capacity.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Unfortunately there are some processes which are much harder to complete within the software such as mass editing already created actions that have been assigned to users. This can be particularly frustrating in the case of an action being assigned to multiple users which has then been scheduled to occur over the course of a number of weeks. In this case I have had to individually edit each action where it would have been useful to have been able to select multiple records and apply a change as is possible through many Salesforce objects.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking projects across our various clients and the time our teams are spending on each one gives us a better picture of where the majority of effort is going and particularly how much of that is billable versus non billable time.

  ### 22. A great project management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The training videos and knowledge base are great for new starters, having the training material readily available is a great start.
I love the different views that are available, the overview, whiteboard gantt, and the fact that you can export the information in different formats.
It's really easy to navigate the system and access information.
The link back to salesforce to the accounts and opportunities makes it really easy to see the end to end journey.
The support from the Aprika team, they are always happy to help and quick to respond on tickets.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

To configure the system to get the best out of it for your organisation, you do need to have a good understanding of saleforce, getting it off the ground .
The export to pdf function regularly errors.
The weekly status report layout doesn't make it clear as to what has changed since last week.
Project stakeholders / viewers aren't visible on the project itself.
Can't store documents / attach them to projects or actions.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Go for it!

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control is quickly becoming our single source of the truth, replacing duplication of data across multiple spreadsheets.
Due to it being native to salesforce, we can easily create reports and dashboard views, replacing manual processes, saving us time.
It will also provide increased visibility of our projects to people across our business.

  ### 23. Excellent PSA Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The number of tools & customization that Mission Control comes with - the Scheduler, Whiteboard, Utilization, and other components - really compliment the traditional PSA functions well. The team is also very responsive to questions and offering solutions.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There are a lot of tools that check the box and are very helpful but could use more functionality. One example is the timesheet - does exactly what you would expect but having the ability to enter time log notes on the time sheet would allow the timesheet to have wider adoption at our company.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Do your homework on your internal processes and how you envision using a PSA platform - that way you can make sure your requirements are well aligned with the features and tools in Mission Control.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can click a button and instantly know my teams utilization and project revenue for weeks and months into the future. Its allowed us to be much more strategic about our business while also allowing our team to have a crystal clear understanding of their work, deadlines, and impact on other task

  ### 24. Easy to get into and easy to configure on my own.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike M. | Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

It organizes our projects very well and allows for higher level program management and estiating functionality without adding any customization.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

So far, I have no found anything I dislike about the product or support. It works as advertised and has very robust features.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Organize your project temaplates and milestones before starting to reduce rework caused by modeling diffeernt methods. Stay away from adding customizations and drive users through provided MC product Lightning Components.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved problems in the entire project delivery lifecycle with MC, ranging from how we intake new prospective customers and gather/scope those requirements, to templatizing project delivery and best practices to improve execution and stakeholder commmnication.

  ### 25. Mission Control is great project management softwear.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriela M. | Ayudante de Jefe de Obra, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I love the way the Mission Control sales team is. The data structure behind the scenes is very important, we could easily define it where we wanted. Then it also includes some cool features like scheduling and scheduling which we can never create on our own. Our clients have a dynamic experience of what the sales team does, now mission-controlled.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There is no need to inspect the product, but it must be shown that the task control has made us better understand our case than before, otherwise we would not have been able to start implementing it. We need to take the time before we start and ask ourselves a lot of questions about ourselves and our actions. As a result, we now have a much better understanding of our business and have created several new ongoing processes.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without mission control, we find it very difficult to manage large-scale and complex projects that involve too many devices, locations, resources and efforts. Now that’s how we use the sales force is bread and butter. We also realize that by getting additional data and details through Mission Control, we can often go back and create reports, dashboards and metrics that we didn't have before. Wanted and we didn't. Enable using pre-mission function control.

  ### 26. Mission Control user for 2 years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission Control is an all-inclusive application that allows us to easily manage our projects, staff, budgets and invoicing

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

I would prefer the package not be so restrictive (it's a managed package). We needed to do quite a bit of custom configuration to meet some of our specific needs and some tools, like the Gantt chart is not as easy to use as Smartsheets, which we still use. The ability to remove some components from page layouts would also be helpful.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our project managers are able to manage scope, user stories, estimates, hours/budget all in one place. We also share Mission Control with our clients via our community, which works great. We get great collaboration with our clients via the whiteboard and Chatter. We are also able to have utilization metrics at our fingertips and process our customer invoices.

  ### 27. Comprehensive Native Project Management Solution for Salesforce

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John L. | Senior Technical Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Complete package native to Salesforce with Gantt chart, program view and many other tools and features you would want in a Project Management solution with continuous updates and enhancements

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Out of the box the tool is geared more towards projects for clients as a consultant but is easy enough to customize to your individual requirements

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a project management solution native to Salesforce so we could have a central location for all our data that would enable the project lifecycle to be visible to all of the team and this package has delivered on that

  ### 28. Complex, overall good product, with some limitations, but great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Overall, it's a great tool when used properly, with a lot of features and many possibilities. There are updates/improvements launched frequently and support is quick and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Some features can be accessed from various places, which took a lot to get used to. For regular users it's difficult to understand some formulas (mainly regarding P&L), as everything is connected. There are some limitations to what you can do (e.g. wanted to set a field in Expenses checked by default, but that's not possible), but we didn't come across them so often.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't know which projects of ours are actually profitable, what tasks take how much time from the team members, and organizing tasks was a headache using email and chat etc. Mission Control helped with these aspects.

  ### 29. Integrated alternative to traditional project tools

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Salesforce integration was a key driver of the implementation of the product. The ability to link all contacts, opportunities and resources was very attractive. The updates on the project status's is also nice from an update perspective.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The ramp-up speed of utilization for the team took a bit. The user flow could be more intuitive as it can be choppy on where to go next. Additionally, the Gantt chart view needs some work as the ability to gain more screen real estate to view more projects simultaneously is hindered.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool has been ideal to track and manage all projects in one place with connection to the business development activities within the CRM.

  ### 30. After hours supprt

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

We can rely on them to be available during after hours

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

the calls have been dropped a few times!

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

none

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

using them for after-hours support

  ### 31. Great addition to salesforce with great support. Self implementation is hard when new to saleforce

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Gant Chart, Customisation, automated flows connections into our other applications, Google suite and Xero

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Not being able to update all cards previously made by a template. Setup takes a bit of getting used to without salesforce experience. You need a full license to be able to view Mission Control related data, it would be good if we could have the ability for view only licenses for others within our organisation that do not need to edit but might need to see what has been done.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Get understanding of Salesforce first including setting up your API connections, understanding how to customise pages, setup users and setting up automations.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed Issues with Trello. Centralised system with salesforce, automation and intricate customisation

  ### 32. Great tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin P. | Sr. Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

There are so many features and the UI is way better than what I have seen with other PSA tools.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There really isn't anything I don't dislike, but there are a few things I would like to be added, which the MC team has added to their backlog.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our external and internal projects and keeping everything in one spot. We want our team to go to one place to manage a project, which is what MC is providing for us.

  ### 33. Great mid-tier solution, is helping us better mange multiple resources against multiple projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben K. | CX Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Simple to use
Strong Salesforce integration
Good reporting through Salesforce
Great customer service

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The timesheeting solution lacks some development, although I understand this is in train. Improvements in approval workflows would assist this for our organisation.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improved PM, cost management and resource forecasting. Better alignment/understanding of our consultants delivery requirements. Whilst we are yet to roll out, chatter access etc for our customers so they may interact in projects will be a strong win.

  ### 34. Mission Control - great product, excellent support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark T. | Practice Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

On the Salesforce platform; broad feature set; integrations; UI

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Gantt chart output formatting is poor; project KPIs are somewhat cryptic.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

In order to get value from Mission Control, I highly recommend personalised training, as well as using their resource library. We invested time and money in such training and wish we would have done so much earlier, as it was extremely valuable.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management and collaboration; measuring efficiency and productivity; managing project milestones; project estimating and pricing.

  ### 35. Our entire Practice is managed using Mission Control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent M. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Ability to manage projects deliverables, deadlines, and allocation of staff. We also love the flexibility to manage costing the way we want as well as retainer contracts.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

There is nothing much we don't like but we would love to see an option to plan resources capacity without having to create actions. For example: being able to schedule people at a high level against a project even though milestones and actions have not been created yet.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control reduces the complexity of managing a professional service business as well as our support processes. It gives us good visibility of our forecast, people allocation and profitability. It does it well and at an affordable cost.

  ### 36. Good to deal with

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian T. | H, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I was primarily involved with the selection of the solution. I liked the support that we received from Colin and Ben to help understand how Mission Control could help us to work more efficiently and tie into Salesforce data.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

We are in the early days of using the system so there is nothing that springs immediately to mind. The only challenge is having Salesforce implemented by one partner whilst Mission Control do there stuff and this can lead to conflicts in the functionality.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disconencted system meaning our Projects team did not always have a clear understanding of the resource requirements in coming months added to the management of those resources against existing projects.

  ### 37. Great product - super critical to our operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The data model and user interface is really well thought out, there are a few little enhancements I'd like to see but overall it really enhances the overall Salesforce experience and makes it possible to run a professional services business on Salesforce. Xero integration is also a huge bonus!

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Including a refresh button on some key components like the Whiteboard would be super useful to refresh the information visible as doing a full browser reset can reset any filters. (And then this requires extra clicks to enable the filter again)

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us see our projects at a glance, understand the resources committed, budget, and streamlining generation of our invoices.

  ### 38. I've found that Mission Control works well for our team as a group of Salesforce consultants.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Flexibility to integrate with other parts of Salesforce such as Sales Cloud and Timesheeting capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Some functionality such as task creation and gantt charts doesn't feel as smooth as other cloud tools but understand it's partially limited by Salesforce UI capabilities. Would be interesting if MC would ever consider additional web UI/Front-end like other companies such as Skedulo have created.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

If already using Salesforce and familiar with the platform it presents many benefits but I don't believe it provides all of the functionality required to manager customer projects. Especially around sharing information with clients. Communities is an expensive solution.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timesheeting, project timeline building, status updated and capacity planning.

  ### 39. From an Implementation Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew S. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Its a comprehensive Project Management tool that covers all areas of our project delivery process as a Salesforce Implementation Partner, allowing us to plan for and report on outcomes.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Finding the time to fully explore the functionality and know we are getting everything out of it we should.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Spend the time to fully explore the capabilites

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing internal business processes to deliver a desired service

  ### 40. Mission Control is helping our Delivery to book their hours they spend on the customer side easily.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markus W. | Senior Process & Tool Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

- Easy to use interface
- How intergrated it is in Salesforce

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

That the users can't use Mission Control at the mobile phone!

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our delivery team book hours at the project in Mission Control for the time they spend to implement our software for the customer.
The booked hours will be pushed to Zuora and will be invoiced to the customer automatically.

  ### 41. Mission Control is now integral to our business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

I love the flexibility and the way MC integrates with our other processes. MC gives you many ways to manage a project and your assigned tasks. The Timesheet entry tab gives you a simple overall view or your tasks with a simple way to record time. However, I'm also discovering the features Whiteboard and Action Pad allow me to manage multiple projects in one view.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Need to integrate it with Case Management.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to manage tasks and projects for multiple clients, I've recently spent time using the Action Pad and think this will be a game changer for my task management.

  ### 42. Mission Control is a great Project Management tool for Salesforce at a super reasonable price.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manveen K. | Sr. Salesforce Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The details of Project Management that are provided out of the box and the ease of use. It is easily customizable and works out of the box. Customer support is the best I have seen. Instant and detailed response to every question even on the holidays!!!

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

At this point nothing - still a new user. I believe it will remain that way!!

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Mission Control provided detailed demos that are super useful. Their demo videos are also a great help to understand the functionality and customizations available.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management for our projects. Saved time and money required to customize the functionality.

  ### 43. Project Control Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** María Jose F. | FINANCE DIRECTOR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Better management and visualization of project life. Better communication within the team. Budget control easily.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The impossibility to create your own dashboard and some problem when you want to update your date in the gant chart, there some problems still to fix it.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better communication within the team.
Better control of the life project in real time.
Budget control easily and smoothly.

  ### 44. great tool for project management with a lot of features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

the most helpful thing is the structure. It is intuitive. You can manage a project with a lot of fuctions, from resource to financial management.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

It would be helpful when it's possible in the checklist item object to put an expenditure to the person who has to do the task.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Builder: At the moment we try to assign tasks on a user story base. It's only possible to convert a requirement to a task. The user storys itself from a requirement can also contain a task, but it does not convert.
Most benefit is the configurable dashboard!

  ### 45. Extremely Feature Rich Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francis O. | Salesforce Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Mission control is an extremely flexible and feature-rich product.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The amount of setup required. In part, this is due to the complexity of the product but is a barrier to a successful implementation

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Spend extra time during the implementation to make complete use of all Mission Controls features.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission control is used as a project management tool for our consultancy

  ### 46. Scalable project management solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoe L. | S, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

We started with an out of the box solution plus some configuration to meet our need last year. Then gradually build upon the existing features as we grow

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

More flexibility in setting week starting for Timesheet.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage customer projects timeline, team time logs and project financials all in one place

  ### 47. Excellent PM App

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

Full suite of PM tools available in Salesforce.
Embedded Gantt charts.
Easy user provisioning.
Great bird's eye view for executives.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

With all its capabilities, the app can be a bit "heavy", and the low-level task assignment / management / resourcing / time logging may not be for everyone. A few tweaks in UI/UX pull this up to a "10".

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling our Professional Services team to deliver, manage, and track projects and time in Salesforce. Integrated billing between Mission Control & QuickBooks Online.

  ### 48. Mission Control is an awesome app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

It is native to Salesforce so no messy integration to deal with. Also the ability to customise to make it work to meet your own requirements

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

The scheduling side does not quite work as we would like but we work around this

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

Great company to deal with

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage our budgets and timelines on projects successfully. We are also able to track overdue status reports, dirty actions and other housekeeping items to keep our projects clean and up to date

  ### 49. Good product, good customer support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

The product is very good and contains many features usefull for project management and time tracking.
Thanks to frequent updates Mission Control gets even better.
Always found someone to support me during my analisys and implementation.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

Nothing that I didn't like.
There were a few improvements that I found when I installed the Product; they were introduces in subsequent Mission Control package updates.

**Recommendations to others considering Mission Control:**

I could recommend to use as much as possibile out of the box features (the same goes for for any other Salesforce managed package)

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We could manage Project and Activities and at the same time track working hours.
In Salesforce environment could use data model look up to connect project to other data.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Mission Control?**

- How it is able to leverage Salesforce objects.
- The metrics, like SPI and CPI, that allow for a true indication of project health.
- Aprika's willingness to listen to customer feedback.

**What do you dislike about Mission Control?**

- Reporting
- How actions are not consistently organized across various views. All views should at least have the option to organize by the Gantt Chart's WBS.

**What problems is Mission Control solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mission Control has allowed for our team to track all projects and associations in one place.
