They answer questions or concerns very quickly. Also, their ability to tailor the system to our needs and size in a rapidly changing environment. The ability to automate several of our processes. Both on the food processing side and shipping and receiving side. **What do you dislike about Minotaur ERP?** Reporting can be a little bit complex. There is lots of flexibility to it but understanding how to write reports can be tough. **Recommendations to others considering Minotaur ERP:** Minotaur has greatly improved our ability to grow and meet all of our customer's needs. **What problems is Minotaur ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Daily food processing and accounting. We produce, ship and bill 50,000+ lbs a day. Minotaur handles all of the accounting and tractability needed to comply with food processing standards. Minotaur allows us to do all of this with limited office and production staff. ### 2. We utilize this system in a non-standard application where it functions as both a retail POS and a process ERP. The flexibility of the program has allowed us to integrate new processes as our business grows and evolves and has allowed us to be more creative in our problem-solving processes. By leveraging Minotaurs customizable features, we have been able to track and evaluate many different areas of our business that other ERP systems just can't be applied to. **What do you dislike about Minotaur ERP?** As others have mentioned, Minotaur can have a steep learning curve for those who have not used ERP systems in the past. **Recommendations to others considering Minotaur ERP:** review how you are tracking your production and inventory with the sales team at Minotaur and ensure you are collecting enough information to implement their software. **What problems is Minotaur ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Minotaur has helped us reduce labour costs and increase traceability throughout our business. The Specific features we use on a regular basis include. GL analysis, CRM, Inventory Tracking, Staff Ratings Analysis, and On-Line Help. ### 3. Fully customizable. As a BRC certified facility we are running multiple lines and offering hundreds of SKUs to the retail and foodservice sectors. The implementation of the Minotaur ERP system gives us real time costs and control which is critical in short term decision making and long term planning. Cashflow is improved through better Inventory control. Our auditors love the quick lot code traceability. **What do you dislike about Minotaur ERP?** The transition from our old "system" (several disjointed departments) to the new Minotaur system was stressful and somewhat painful. We had to run both simultaneously for a few months but we persevered and got through with the support of the Minotaur team. Best to make this type of transition at fiscal YE rather than midstream. **Recommendations to others considering Minotaur ERP:** Get top down commitment from the board/ownership group. You need everyone"on board". Take the time to plan your setup properly (categories/product codes/etc.). Better planning beforehand will make the transition easier. Try to do the transition at YE. **What problems is Minotaur ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Better production planning. Lower inventory carrying costs. Ability to isolate secondary costs (transport) QA documentation. Better control of New Product Development and pricing custom products ### 4. Anytime I have needed support someone is available to help me by phone or email. **What do you dislike about Minotaur ERP?** A lot of customizability but it is a difficult ERP to learn how to customize. You need to be trained by Minotaur Staff. **What problems is Minotaur ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Minotaur to create a comprehensive ERP that handles all aspects of our business including accounting and operations and we have found less chances for human error, better trace-ability and seamless integration with our exisiting systems. ### 5. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always available with support. **What do you dislike about Minotaur ERP?** I honestly do not see any downsides to Minotaur. In fact, there is so much more that Minotaur is capable of that we are still learning about. **What problems is Minotaur ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Minotaur's ability to customize their software to meet our ever-changing needs is a huge benefit. ### 6. At any moment we have a true picture of our raw material, work in process, and finished inventory. It has helped us eliminate shortages. **What do you dislike about Minotaur ERP?** We had to rethink our business and process flow, which was difficult at the start. But well worth the investment. **What problems is Minotaur ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have full tractability on our ingredients and finished product. It also allows us to cost batches in real time. We are thrilled with the decision to go with Minotaur and continue to get ongoing benefits from our system as our business evolves. ### 7. It is fully adaptable and customization to meet our specific requirements. It is able to provide us with full product trace ability which will allow us to save time and effort during food safety audits as the required information is fully accessible. **What do you dislike about Minotaur ERP?** We have not utilized the full system but do find that is can be difficult to create our own reports. This can be achieved with help from the supplier though. **What problems is Minotaur ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problems that we will solve, will be to improve accuracy of mock recalls and will provide the information in a much more efficient manner than our prior system ### 8. It's not the sexiest software you will use by a long shot but it is completely reliable and can be easily customized. (which is great). **What do you dislike about Minotaur ERP?** It's reporting is not its strongest feature and it usually requires exporting into Excel or other spreadsheets for best reporting. **Recommendations to others considering Minotaur ERP:** Really pay attention to what it is you are trying to accomplish with a new system before making a decision. **What problems is Minotaur ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a need to track batch lot numbers and the system handles that effectively. ### 9.
