As the GUI is very user-friendly, it only takes a few moments to set up the software and begin mining various coins. I found it very helpful when getting into the crypto-mining niche, and I used it to mine for Monero (XMR) when it was still peaking in 2020, and the set-up was done in about 3 minutes, and I was up and running. **What do you dislike about MinerGate?** While MinerGate is quite helpful in terms of accessibility and set-up, there were some occasions where the app refused to transfer the mined coins for unknown reasons, and they were lost. Furthermore, the user interface of MinerGate is very simple - it only requires a single button cick to begin mining and can do it automatically upon computer startup. There is also a very diverse/varied selection of different currenicies, so the tool regarding selecting an optimal currency is efficient because there is large difference between the optimization of currencies. **What do you dislike about MinerGate?** I was not able to withdraw the currency I had mined because there was a very high minimum. Therefore, when selecting an optimal currency, it is most efficient to use MinerGate it you have the processing power to quickly reach the required minimum for withdrawl. **Recommendations to others considering MinerGate:** Make sure you mine enough to the point that you will actually be able to withdraw the currency once you finish mining. Otherwise , the user will never be able to achieve the minimum or get enough btc to eventually withdraw the currency. Just download from the main page and register an account can exploit the capacity of the team. Since the year that I have been using it, they have released few updates, but each of them adapts to the changing rhythm of cryptocurrencies. It allows me to integrate with an ASICs team and many models of GPUs This software supports several cryptocurrencies and different mining pools It has application for Android, which is my case, to continue mining with my mobile device. And all together in the same program. It is very fascinating **What do you dislike about MinerGate?** most of the antivirus detect it as "riskware", since it can enter the system without the user's permission and use the resources of the computer to mine. In summary: decrease in computer performance; system slowdowns; inability to open or execute a particular program; the appearance in the Task Manager of processes that use a large amount of CPU. Its great for someone just starting to learn about mining that does not have the technical experience to setup your own mining software. Great for CPU mining. **What do you dislike about MinerGate?** They are not great about payouts, they don't really pay out what your owed and hold hostage some of your earnings until you confirm the next block. This means you are never paid entirely what they owe you and you will always have some residual balance stuck in their system. I also wish they would integrate the use of asic softwares intandem with minergate itself. **Recommendations to others considering MinerGate:** Be cautious of how hot your equipment gets, and research how much damage it could do to a cpu if not properly taken care of. **What problems is MinerGate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Well what i came to realize is that you need to be cooling whichever item you are using to run the program, and even that wont stop it from constantly using your cpu so my only fix was to use an older computer i had lying around that i did not mind if the cpu's end up burnt out. ### 12.
