We use their routers in all our buildings we service and for any customers. They seem to have a product to fit any need and constantly improve and release new devices to fit new requirements. Our company is continuously growing, and we can upgrade to better hardware on the same software is terrific. **What do you dislike about MikroTik?** Mikrotik has a bad reputation from an exploit they resolved a couple of years ago. The software has a bit of a learning curve, but it's well worth it. Mikrotik does an excellent job supporting their products, but you probably won't often need it. It is a fairly fluid and fast system. **What do you dislike about MikroTik?** Until now the only displeasure that I could find is that your information is not complete and specific on the network, I also need to perform more tests with VLANS to be able to judge well although with what I have seen it is not very easy to configure this feature, Like the fate of Portsecurity at the Switch level, this is a great disadvantage compared to other systems that are very remarkable, but can be plugged off by the interfaces that are not being used. **Recommendations to others considering MikroTik:** I fully recommend mikrotik for any type of network that needs either a firewall, router, siwtch or AP, mikrotik has a wide range of these devices which I recommend, it is also quite important to recommend studying it to understand it. It also provides wireless access, and we have a wireless printer connected to it. It was complicated to set up, but it has saved us countless hours of downtime when our main internet provider goes down, which it does on a regular basis. ### 26. It replaced the router that my ISP gave me, and has an always-on connection to the office called a VPN. I am able to access everything that is in the office (file server, printer, VOIP) just like I am there, so I am able to work at home. It really helps when you have kids. ### 29.
