There&#39;s a second axis worth putting next to the scope-size question this frames well: operating tempo. Accenture&#39;s governance model fits a large, stable, change-controlled build, but marketing automation earns its value after launch through fast iteration, campaign experiments, rapid program changes, and heavyweight change control fights that cadence. So even on a scope big enough to seem to justify a GSI, the mismatch may not be cost, it&#39;s that a governed build can hand your marketers a platform they can&#39;t iterate on at the speed they need. Who runs it, and how fast they can change it, after Accenture rolls off usually matters more than how governed the build was.
