## Microsoft Stream Reviews
  ### 1. Great program for video sharing!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber N. | Research Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft Stream?**

When conducting in-depth interviews for qualitative research, Stream along with Microsoft Teams is a great program for housing screen recordings of meetings and uploading them to a place where those in our network can access them. Integration with Teams makes it easy to download the videos and also gives you a transcript of the meeting/conversation as you watch.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Stream?**

Nothing to dislike so far! Everything I have needed to do on here has been possible.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Stream:**

Great as a solution to video/meeting recording and video sharing needs rather than using an outside vendor.

**What problems is Microsoft Stream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rather than paying for a separate platform to conduct IDIs, we are able to use Teams in conjunction with Stream to record and save these interviews. This way we aren't paying an additional vendor when we can just use the tools we already have access to.

  ### 2. Intuitive Tool with Easy Video Playback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Microsoft Stream?**

Activating the recording feature in Teams is very easy and Stream processes and publishes the video quickly. Stream also allows editing of video conten and easy closed captioning with intuitive features.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Stream?**

I wish the video files could have somewhat advanced editing features right in Stream.

**What problems is Microsoft Stream solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording of team meetings, recording instructor led trainings and using them as part of training modules, uploading videos to have them closed captioned.

The permissions are confusing and the video owners rarely know they own videos.

This is a no-brainer to turn on. It's included for free as a part of Office 365 and critical to success with Microsoft Teams.
