It has introduced several performance enhancements, including better memory management and more efficient query processing. It allows to run advanced analytics on data stored in SQL Server without needing to move the data elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Enterprise on Windows Server 2016?**

SQL Server 2017 is pretty resource-intensive. While it’s designed for high-performance workloads, it can be overkill for smaller or less complex systems. Even with optimizations, the memory and CPU consumption can sometimes be excessive for smaller-scale applications.
