What I like best about Microsoft Power BI Embedded is its ability to centralize and share reporting across different use cases. I use it across multiple companies—internally for reporting within one organization, and more broadly in another where it integrates data from sources like HubSpot into a data warehouse. From there, I can surface insights through Power BI reports, ensuring the right stakeholders have access to accurate, up-to-date information. This flexibility makes it a powerful tool for both internal visibility and more complex data workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Sorting columns and rows is not as simple as other Bi tools

The cost is high. It could have been layered based on usage, so you pay according to how much you actually use it. A more granular, pay-per-query or consumption-based tier would make it much more cost-effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our company has loved Power BI since we discovered it. We are a small, family owned company that still has quite a few people in the office so it is tough to get an individual Power BI license for each person. We love Power BI, however, as the ERP system we have that houses everything for our company, does not have good reports to pull for data. Power BI helps us organize our data much better for what we want to see: for sales, operations, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
