The response for the incoming call in MicroSIP is very Quick; I would say it is less than a Second. We can Add Multiple SIP Accounts in MicroSIP; you don't need a license. It supports TCP and UDP protocols which are very secure for VoIP calls. Configurations are very simple, and it supports many Voip Servers, Like Bell server

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

It is free and perfect for SIP calls. There is no denying this. However it only supports Voice calls and doesn't support SMS features. And also MicroSIP only has application for Windows, and for Linux and Mac OS, it doesn't have

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roshnie G. | Vendor Management Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2022

**What do you like best about MicroSIP?**

MicroSIP is the best app for making calls. The best part about this app is that it has the call log option available, so if in case I miss any calls I can easily track the number.
I must say that MicroSIP is now making my work hazzle free without needing to worry about missing any calls further.

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

Sometimes the call takes a little longer to connect and suddenly drops in between. It would be really great if this issue gets rectified soon.

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used many softphones earlier but this one seems to be the best and reliable one. I make many international calls on a daily basis and MicroSIP being the most easy to setup and use, has saved a lot of my time giving me the wonderful call experience.

  ### 6. Cheapest VoiP calls ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dzulani N. | Accountant , Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2022

**What do you like best about MicroSIP?**

Gone are the landline phones for us... we use the microsip phone on our laptops to call and receive calls, the best feeling ever and very convenient, it is the cheapest softphone you can get out there, this I can recommend anytime. you can set it up on your cell phone such that when you have closed your laptop you are still reachable on your phone.

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

It's not easy to set up alone, you need the consultants from MicroSip to set it up for you, if it could move to visual calls too that could be great. but for now, am happy with the software.

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have reduced a lot of money from phone bills every month, MicroSip is very cheap, we able to call and talk to our clients anytime and anywhere using the microsip. The sound quality is good so we can hear each other clearly.

  ### 7. Nice softphone alternative for carrying hard phones

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveed A. | Infrastructure Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about MicroSIP?**

It's easy to setup. No hard instructions. Simple to integrate with Company internal voice portal.
Option of logs is an advantage. So if you miss anything, it will be recorded in logs.

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

It doesn't work great with third party headphones, Just hangs up when connected with them.
Gets a little bit shaky when when starting to dial the number. For ending the call, you have to close the second window. It should be just one.

**Recommendations to others considering MicroSIP:**

Please try this once if you are looking to use a softphone. Best part of this is integration with company's internal phone system. Reliable and a small application easy to use.

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's main advantage for us that we are working from home and we can use microsip just by connecting with VPN. We dont have to be physically in office. Doesn't take much of space in computer as well.

  ### 8. Most easy to use and set up softphone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreina M. | Leads Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2020

**What do you like best about MicroSIP?**

It is amazing how light the solution is, meaning you can download in less than 2 minutes, it is easy to use, I find it amazing that when you are on a call you can actually see if your internet connection is stale or not and it also allows to view the time that has passed on the call, on a previous softphone I use this was not possible.

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

You have to be really careful when answering an Inbound call, you need to make sure the record button is clicked so you can have your recording ready after the call finishes.

**Recommendations to others considering MicroSIP:**

the solution is easy to use , so not much is needed when using this solution, just make sure you have a reliable internet connection for your calls to go through without a hitch

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On a previous softphone, I used features such as time on the call or how stable the solution is was not available

  ### 9. A simple and easy to use SIP softphone for high quality VoIP calls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about MicroSIP?**

MicroSIP is very easy to use, almost like an actual phone. This software was suggested by my company's IT team when teleworking started due to Covid-19 as an alternative to our office lines, and so far, it works great.

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

There is nothing that I dislike. The software does what it promises and fulfills its purpose. I am using it for everyday calls with clients now that I am not working at the office, and it works great!

**Recommendations to others considering MicroSIP:**

MicroSIP is a lightweight VoIP software that works just like a regular phone. It is easy to set up and operate. It allows you to make calls, transfer calls to other colleagues, and you get an email if you get missed calls.

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When Covid-19 started, the whole company went into remote working. We could not use the office lines, and at the beginning, if we wanted to call a client or a vendor, we had to do that from our home phones or mobiles and get charged for that. Now the company has set up MicroSIP, and we can call clients from our PC with the company plan.

  ### 10. Simple tool for integrating desk phone into notebook

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2021

**What do you like best about MicroSIP?**

MicroSIP provides the opportunity to answer the desk phone in the office for mobile workers or employees who work remotely from time to time.
Some basic good features;
- Easy to install
- The operation screen is simple
- Easy to make or answer calls
- Easy to adjust microphone and speaker
- Makes you forget the habit of using a fixed desk phone
- Working speed is quite high

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

Although mobilizing the desktop phone is its main feature, the following aspects could also be improved;
  - Phonebook is not smart, desk phone cannot transfer or synchronize phonebook. When using a desk phone and MicroSIP separately, it is necessary to note the most recent calls. The two devices are not communicating.
- MicroSIP cannot be activated when VPN is not working on company computers using firewalls. We cannot use MicroSIP when we have VPN connection problem. Or when we forget to turn on VPN, we cannot be informed of incoming calls.

**Recommendations to others considering MicroSIP:**

MicroSIP is a practical solution for employees who use desk phones, mobile phones and computers at the same time in companies. It also eliminates the need to use a phone while working. With MicroSIP, the computer also gains the phone feature. Thus, it is possible to make phone calls without the need for an additional device other than the computer during work. Thus, it eliminates the need and complexity of physical telephone devices. It is a useful solution for any type of company, small or large.

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MicroSIP allowed me to use my desk phone uninterruptedly during the periods when we were working remotely. Also, physically, I no longer need a desk phone. In this way, I continued to keep in touch with the people who called me or the people I called. Simple use and connection from anywhere with internet are important features for us to get used to MicroSIP.

It also has a lot of configurable options to tailor to individual users preferences.

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

What I dislike about MicroSIP is nothing, it really is a great little softphone tool.

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the problem that I am solving with MicroSIP is access to a good free softphone. Now that everyone is working from home, having a working softphone helps make that transition easier. The benefit I've realized is not having to purchase another VoIP phone for home to use when working from home!

  ### 13. Good alternative to a physical phone.

  ### 14. MicroSIP Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley G. | Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2019

**What do you like best about MicroSIP?**

Allows my team to automatically answer calls for our system

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

Will occasionally have sound connection issues, but it is an easy fix. Lately there have been connection issues where it starts saying 'connecting.." and won't allow a call through for ~25 seconds. Through my works program the account will come up but it doesn't automatically answer and the caller will hear me but I cannot hear them.

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We take a high volume of calls every day and MicroSIP allows us to take them continuously and the caller ID feature is helpful

  ### 15. It's a very basic tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edson R. | Team Captain, Market Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2019

**What do you like best about MicroSIP?**

I have used many software in the past but this one seems to be reliable and lightweight software, very easy to use good sound quality. It's free to use so it is a big plus. Excellent documentation online to answer various questions about this software.

I really like the idea of getting rid of my desk phone and just using my laptop. Since we were converting to VoIP phones, that seemed like a reasonable idea.

Is a quick software and something really smooth and generally working fine.

**What do you dislike about MicroSIP?**

Sometimes using this software seems like one of the works. Calls wouldn't come through--my phone simply wouldn't ring. Or I'd call someone and they couldn't hear me. In essence, my "desk phone" became so extremely unreliable that I would go into other people's offices to make phone calls and I let the rest of my team know they couldn't reach my by phone.

**Recommendations to others considering MicroSIP:**

Overall satisfied with this program, works Well, The last update with a New design is nice

**What problems is MicroSIP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall satisfied with this program, works Well, The last update with a New design is nice.
