Also, using this website we can see detailed report on metadata types and search. **What do you dislike about Metadata Search?** There should be more filters to sort out what kind of metadata we want. There are only simple filter options that also contain some results which we do not want, so we have to sort them manually. I hope they will add advanced filter option in future updates. **What problems is Metadata Search solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can increase traffic to our website and videos using good metadata. Also, it helps us to achieve high SEO. We are happy to use that website for our platform. ### 2. I get confused easily and this doesn't cause me confusion. So that's a good thing. **What do you dislike about Metadata Search?** Really nothing I can think of to be honest. The product is actually really worthwhile and makes day-to-day work tasks more efficient. Maybe the only thing I would change is the ugly logo. **Recommendations to others considering Metadata Search:** Use it! Its very helpful! **What problems is Metadata Search solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is solving all my search things. I use it to search for data when data is searchable for things I need to search for in the Matadata Search. So there's that as well. ### 3. Easy to use and read the results. **What do you dislike about Metadata Search?** That I can only search about 2 or 3 at a time, otherwise I get errors or takes too long. **What problems is Metadata Search solving and how is that benefiting you?** The included 'where is this used' feature in SFDC only shows so much. Metadata can really hone in on certain types and give you a more complete picture. ### 5. The tool supports a good set of metadata types. Enough to justify the price. **What do you dislike about Metadata Search?** Not all metadata types are supported. It would be nice if custom metadata / custom setting records could be searched. Also, it only allows us to perform simple filters on metadata types. Advanced filters like contains "a" but not "b". It can sometimes be slow to return results. There is a bit of setup involved before using the tool like configuring a Remote Site Setting to point to your org's Metadata API. It would be nice if this was done for us. **Recommendations to others considering Metadata Search:** Consider our of the box tools like the "Where is This Used" button on fields and VS Code as part of a tool set as these provide insight into the metadata that MD search does not. **What problems is Metadata Search solving and how is that benefiting you?** Allows our admins to search for existing fields and helps us avoid creating duplicate fields. Also allows us to check for dependencies on certain field values.
