I can launch, test, and improve the platform without making everything too complicated too early. **What do you dislike about Memberstack?** At the moment, I do not have a major dislike. There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, especially when setting up access rules, redirects, and member states properly. But once I understood how those parts work together, it became a useful and manageable part of the site. **What problems is Memberstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** Memberstack is helping me solve the access-control side of the business. For SmartSec Academy, I needed a way to keep the public website separate from the protected training area. Memberstack lets me manage that without building a custom user system from scratch. I can test that my website has all the necessary components before users start logging in. I love the community that MemberStack is building, and how responsive Duncan and his team are because the customer service is superb. The setup was straightforward, with step-by-step guide provided as soon as you login on the dashboard. Duncan also provides many introductory emails and Loom videos, which help users get familiar with MemberStack. I also really appreciate that I can integrate it with Stripe payments, and I'm a huge fan of Duncan's service. **What do you dislike about Memberstack?** Really nothing that I can put my finger on! **What problems is Memberstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** Memberstack organizes logins for my yoga website, securing access to my content library behind a paywall. It offers flexible login options with Google, Apple, and Outlook, and integrates with Stripe for payments. But at the same time, it's also very possible to set up fairly complex signup systems that I can customize and tailor for very specific user journeys and niche clients. **What do you dislike about Memberstack?** Honestly I haven't really run into any issues or problems that couldn't be solved by their incredible support team. Maybe the only thing I don't like is that Memberstack doesn't fully support selling one-time physical or digital products. If they did, Memberstack would be my only go-to ecommerce solution for Webflow sites. **What problems is Memberstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** Well my initial introduction to Memberstack was from Webflow sunsetting their native user accounts functionality. I had, and still have, a client that had several hundred free user accounts and I knew we had to find a different software to handle that functionality. I was very impressed with how easy it seemed Memberstack could get setup, started implementing Memberstack on their site to get those free user accounts and the gated content functionality swapped over. That project turned into an extremely complex paid online membership management setup and I implemented Memberstack for two other clients' websites. Memberstack has been an incredible membership management solution I've been able to learn quickly and setup extremely fast for very different use cases. My clients are happy, and we're able to turn software costs and my setup and management costs into profitable digital systems within just a few weeks. ### 4. It's easy to implement. **What do you dislike about Memberstack?** It can get a little confused if you try to use a test site or move the code between sites. **What problems is Memberstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is our replacement for Wordpress and AccessAlly - it's 10x less complex than that stack. It's 10x prettier / better UX as well. Our business is entirely membership=based, so we're now able to merge the membership experience with our Webflow marketing site, and as a result we can move dramatically faster. ### 6. I do however wish they would respond a little bit more frequently and give the customer a more of an update with their services. They also have a lot of really awesome templates that help you get to the look and design you're looking for a lot faster. There templates have saved customers a lot of time. **What do you dislike about Memberstack?** They need to respond faster when you have an issue with something and they need to update the customer a lot more frequently than they do. I had an issue and I was the one that had to initiate updates not members to which I feel shouldn't be that hard to do. I probably wouldn't have had as big of an issue with this if they kept me up to date with the status of my ticket without me having to go after them for an update. **What problems is Memberstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wasn't able to access my account for about 2 1/2 three weeks because something happened with their login screen that was preventing me from logging in. And I couldn't access any of my apps that I had set up with members that which is very frustrating it didn't benefit me out all. But once the situation was resolved with a temporary workaround it worked wonderfully. ### 7. We use it to manage our Partner Area, giving our Partners access to vital information that we want to keep private from the rest of the internet. For this it works perfectly and give us loads of options to make it work for us and our Partners. **What do you dislike about Memberstack?** Nothing springs to mind! We've only recently upgraded to Memberstack 2.0 so any little niggles in Memberstack 1.0 have likely been ironed out. **What problems is Memberstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** As above, we use it for our Partner Area - it gives our Partners access to all the information they need to run a successful project, whilst keeping these member only pages hidden from the rest of the internet. The key advantage for us over using Webflow's in-built user management is that using Memberstack means that members-only pages can still be indexed for the purposes of site search, whereas within Webflow they can't. This is really important as we want our Partner Area to be as searchable as possible so taking advantage of site search on the members-only pages is key. ### 9.
