"Maze: Easy User Research, Clear Insights, and Fast Prototype Testing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Maze?

What I love most about Maze is how easy it is to conduct user research and gain useful insights without overly complicating the process. The platform is quite intuitive and is especially handy for quickly testing prototypes and understanding how users interact with them. I also like how it presents the results, as it makes it easy to share findings with the rest of the team and use them to make design decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

Perhaps what I like least is that some more advanced options can be somewhat less intuitive at first and require a bit of time to get familiar with. I also think there is room to improve the customization of some reports and analyses, especially when working with more complex studies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Maze makes user research easy and fast, with clear insights"
4/5
What do you like best about Maze?

What I like most about Maze is that it allows centralizing a good part of the user research process on a single platform. It's easy to create studies, collect responses, and analyze results without having to combine so many different tools. The AI features are also very useful, especially for posing questions and structuring studies more quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

Some of the more advanced features may take some time to get familiar with, especially when you start creating more complex studies. I also think the results and analysis could offer a bit more flexibility in certain cases, although they generally cover the usual research needs quite well. "Maze AI Streamlines Research with Fast, Easy Pattern Analysis"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Maze?

Maze AI has been a great addition to our research process. It helps speed up tasks that would normally take a lot of manual effort, especially when it comes to analyzing responses and identifying common patterns. The platform is easy to navigate, and I was able to start using it without a steep learning curve.

I also like that the AI is there to support the research process rather than take it over. The recommendations and summaries help point me in the right direction while still allowing me to apply my own judgment and context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

My main complaint is that the AI occasionally misses some of the nuances behind user feedback. It does a great job identifying patterns, but for more complex research topics, I still need to dig into the responses myself to make sure I am not overlooking anything important. That's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to keep in mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Maze Makes User Testing Fast and Actionable"
5/5
What do you like best about Maze?

What I like most about Maze is how quickly it enables user testing and feedback collection. It helps me validate ideas early, gather actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions without going through lengthy research cycles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

One downside is that some of the more advanced research and analysis features can take time to fully understand. I’d also like to see more flexibility in reporting and additional customization options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scaling OTT Viewer Feedback with Conversational AI Surveys"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Maze?

What I like best about Maze is its dynamic AI follow up blocks that automatically probe open ended survey answers with voice and text prompts. For our OTT platform, it lets us uncover the root causes of viewer churn and UI friction in real time without having to manually conduct live user interviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

What I dislike about Maze is that setting up granular conditional logic for complex, multi-branching conversational surveys can feel rigid and time-consuming. Additionally, analyzing open-ended conversational audio transcripts still requires some manual tagging, as the platform's automated report customization and filtering options remain fairly basic. "Dynamic AI Interviews with Smart Follow-Up Questions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Maze?

It can conduct interviews and dynamically ask follow-up questions based on what each participant says and the research goals you set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

The most important catch is that the really interesting AI feature isn't necessarily part of an inexpensive Maze subscription.Recruiting also adds variable costs. Maze currently sells panel credits at $5 per credit, with unmoderated Core Network responses costing three credits, while more targeted Extended Network B2C and B2B participants require more credits. "Insightful UX Feedback and Seamless Figma Integration with Maze"
5/5
What do you like best about Maze?

Maze has been a great platform for us to gather detailed, insightful feedback on our UX design decisions. With its wide range of survey options—such as usability tasks and standard questions—it helps us collect different kinds of information and opinions before we approve any design updates. As a result, it has helped us improve the quality of our work while ensuring issues are addressed and every opinion is heard. Last but not least, it integrates really well with Figma, which is another strong reason for us to keep using Maze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

Right now, there aren’t many customization options for the reports, and that’s my only complaint. We would have liked more flexibility in how the report interface looks and can be adjusted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Many UX studies: card sorting, surveys, and usability tests"
4/5
What do you like best about Maze?

Many studies for UX: card sorting, surveys, and usability tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

It does not allow exporting responses in CSV or Excel, nor identifying users with our internal user ID. Additionally, many features that would be very useful are available for an additional fee, such as AI moderation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Generating Research Questions for Global Health"
4/5
What do you like best about Maze?

I have been using it to help generate some viable research questions because I am interested in pursuing some upcoming conferences on global health. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

I still haven’t figured out how to integrate the survey in a way that’s easy to read (or, really, easy to share), but I do like the block-based structure for organizing everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Figma Connection, but Updating Prototypes and Flows Often Break"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Maze?

It connects easily to Figma prototypes, and I really like the analysis report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maze?

It’s a pain to update Figma prototypes, and the flows within the prototypes break a lot. You also can’t land on the same screen from two different paths in a Figma flow, which makes maintaining multiple routes frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
