I've been using MasterControl’s Qx module for a just under two years now. Having everything integrated into one system is incredibly convenient. It simplifies document management, training, audits, and quality events. The document management feature is probably the most noticeable advantage. Instead of dealing with scattered paper files, everything we need is right there in the system. It’s hassle-free, and the approval process is so much smoother. It’s made it easier to keep track of what’s complete and what’s pending. Tracking employee training is another huge advantage. We use Qx to manage all of our SOP training. I no longer have to go through individual personnel files to make sure they’re up to date on their training because the system tracks everything for me. It’s not all perfect. It’s not an intuitive system and the learning curve is steep, especially with some of the more complex features. There are some customization limits, but for what we need, it’s been enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The MasterControl (MC) Quality Management System has served our company extremely well over the last year and a half. We operate within the Life Sciences industry as a Wholesale, Distributor and Project Management for Clinical Trials. We were moving from a manual (but mostly digital) processes into an eQMS for all essential Quality processes. Implementation has been very easy, particularly as supported by SeerPharma and with the rapid onboard program. The system is used every day but pretty much every team member. The Document and Training modules introduced first have made Quality team's life so much easier! We are for more dynamic and responsive to changes. This is doubly so for elements now captured in Advanced Quality Event Management (AQEM) Module as supported by Validation on Demand. Validation as supported by VxT has meant the small Quality team is able to navigate updates, module changes etc with strong transparency of the validation work done by MC. Have not integrated with any other systems via APIs as of yet, but keen to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having used both the Process Module and AQEM, I could not recommend the Process module for quality events. the AQEM is a far easier tool to navigate, create and transform to your needs. Support team is very attentive but will push you to do a lot of self-solving (clearing cache, sign in/sign out) first sometimes to the point of going around in circles on an issue via email. If this was done over a call it might reduce the feeling of things taking so long to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Qx has been very helpful in organizing our MoC's (Management of Change/Change Requests) in order to track who has signed and where in the Change Process items are. It has also helped us be able to make sure all pertinent departments are involved in case a department is affected by the changes happening they can add in their reviews of any systems that are needed. In addition to MoC's, QX has been fantastic in making deviations and out of specification events trackable for everyone from batch release to document control. The only thing I could think of being a downside is the searching for a deviation or other similar event. It would be nice to be able to use the advanced search option to search for a deviation or other event instead of having to go through FBS module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I appreciate most about QX is its routing feature, the ability to track locations, and the option to add training. These aspects really stand out for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
