What do you dislike about markr?

There isn’t anything I dislike about the tool; I genuinely love it. I know some people find the grading system a bit too direct or harsh, but at the end of the day it’s AI. It focuses on accuracy without emotions, whereas we can sometimes get emotionally involved and overlook things when we’re invigilating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is markr solving and how is that benefiting you?

To be honest, my teacher friends recommended this tool, and we used it for campus recruitment to screen students for internships. Earlier, my team and I used to spend hours checking test papers, and honestly, many times we ended up skipping quite a few. I know that’s unfair, but we had no choice at the time. I also understand that, unintentionally, we probably missed some good students. Now we’re basically saved from that guilt, LOL. Markr does it for us in just a fraction of the time. What do you like best about markr?

I can assign questions that require real explanation—not just multiple choice—without resigning myself to a week of nonstop marking afterward. After I grade a few responses myself, the AI starts drafting scoring and feedback suggestions in my style, so I’m mostly editing and approving instead of having to begin every script from a blank page. What do you dislike about markr?

Open-ended assessment is valuable, but it can be slow, especially with large groups. In the past, feedback was often late or thinner than I would have liked.
