## GradingPal Reviews
  ### 1. Turning grading into an AI-powered smart workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** K Vasanth K. | Global Information Technology Intern, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

What stands out to me most is GradingPal’s practical use of AI. Rather than using AI as automation for its own sake, it combines rubric-based grading, OCR for handwritten work, personalized feedback, and teacher review into one cohesive workflow that meets a real classroom need. I enjoy building AI systems that support and augment human decision-making, and GradingPal’s human-in-the-loop approach aligns closely with that philosophy.

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

There's a lot of scope in improvement when it comes to the AI responses for highly complex and creative assignments. Some of the AI generated feedback also sounds very formulaic, giving the teachers more control over the responses to maintain tone and context can make the feedback feel more personalized and valid.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem it solves is the amount of repetitive work teacher has to go through during the grading of the assignments and quizzes. GradingPal brings all these problems in the form of a workflow and helps in saving lot of time and effort.

  ### 2. Simple, Efficient GradingPal with Responsive Customer Service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SAMUEL K. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

What I like best about GradingPal is the incredibly simple layout of the user interface. Due to its simple nature, I was able to become accustomed to using the program literally within a matter of a few minutes and I have continued using this program ever since due to its simplicity and ability to get things done the right way, (and efficiently). One more thing I like about GradingPal is its customer service, which is very responsive whenever I have any clarifying questions about the program, (which is rare, but it is very nice to have assistance when it is needed).

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

There is honestly not much that I dislike about GradingPal when taking into consideration solely its intended purposes. The only thing I could point out as being somewhat of a negative is the fact that not all functionality works on certain browsers, which somewhat forces the user to switch to (potentially) a non-preferred browser. While not a big deal, it would be nice to have all functionality working on any browser.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GradingPal is solving problems such as the inability to efficiently grade assignments, plain and simple. In the past, I would have to grade physical paper copies of assignments, which had the risk of getting lost or being ruined. Now, all students have to do is safely upload their assignment via their submission portal, eliminating all risk of loss or damage to the assignment.

  ### 3. Massive Time Saver for Essay Grading—Weekends Back in 20 Minutes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chanchal R. | Senior Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

honestly just the time saved. i used to spend my whole sunday grading essays and now its like 20 mins. the handwriting thing actually works too i can snap a photo of a worksheet and it reads it. rubric matching is solid, feedback feels personal enough that kids dont know its ai. weekends are mine again.

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

setup is annoying. you have to upload your rubric, configure preferences, and train it on your voice before it gets good. first few assignments the feedback was generic and i had to rewrite half of it. also handwriting reading is hit or miss messy cursive or diagrams with arrows everywhere confuse it. you still end up manually grading a chunk of submissions.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the main problem is grading burnout. i was spending 15+ hours a week on assessments and it was killing my lesson planning time and my personal life. gradingpal cuts that down to maybe 2-3 hours. the benefit is i actually have energy to plan engaging lessons again and im not bringing a bag of papers home every night. my students get feedback faster too which helps them improve.

  ### 4. GradingPal Makes Grading Faster, Fairer, and More Consistent

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravindra N. | SDET - 2, Oil & Energy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

What I like most about GradingPal is its ability to automate grading while maintaining consistency and saving significant time. It streamlines the assessment process, allowing educators to focus more on providing meaningful feedback and supporting students. AI-assisted grading that reduces repetitive manual work. Consistent evaluation based on predefined grading criteria. Fast turnaround for assignments and assessments. Easy-to-use interface with organized submission management. Helpful feedback generation that supports student learning. For me, the most valuable feature is the automated grading workflow. It speeds up the evaluation process while ensuring grading remains fair and consistent across multiple submissions. The biggest benefit is increased efficiency. GradingPal reduces the administrative burden of grading, shortens feedback cycles, and allows more time to focus on teaching, mentoring, and improving learning outcomes.

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

The biggest drawback is that subjective assessments still require manual oversight. While the AI handles routine grading well, I prefer to review essays, project work, or creative assignments to ensure fairness and accuracy. More integrations with learning management systems would improve workflow efficiency. The platform could provide more detailed explanations for how certain grades are determined.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GradingPal solves the time-consuming process of grading assignments and providing consistent feedback. Instead of manually evaluating every submission, it automates much of the assessment workflow while helping maintain fairness and consistency. Automates repetitive grading tasks, saving significant time. Applies grading criteria consistently across all submissions. Generates feedback quickly, allowing students to receive results sooner. Helps manage large volumes of assignments more efficiently. Reduces administrative workload so more time can be spent on teaching and mentoring. In my workflow, GradingPal helps streamline the assessment process by handling routine evaluations and generating an initial set of feedback. This allows me to focus my attention on reviewing complex or subjective responses that benefit from human judgment. The biggest benefit is faster grading with more consistent feedback. GradingPal improves productivity, shortens turnaround times, and makes it easier to manage assessments while maintaining quality and fairness.

  ### 5. AI-Powered Grading That Saves Time and Delivers Better Feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeni J. | Software Dev , Ai Agents Builder, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

I like how GradingPal combines fast AI-assisted grading with thoughtful, personalized feedback for students. Its rubric-based workflow keeps grading consistent across assignments, and I appreciate the ability to review and adjust AI-generated evaluations, which gives me confidence before finalizing grades. GradingPal significantly reduces the time I spend grading, allowing me to maintain my teaching standards efficiently. Additionally, the platform supports a wide range of submission types, such as handwritten work, PDFs, and multimedia projects, making it versatile to use. The UI was so good, and the support also good

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

One area where GradingPal could improve is giving educators more control over how the AI handles nuanced or highly creative assignments, where human judgment is still important. I'd also like to see additional integrations with learning management systems and more customizable reporting so it's easier to track student progress over time. These are relatively minor improvements, though, and the platform already delivers excellent value by dramatically reducing grading time while maintaining consistency.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use GradingPal to automate rubric-based grading for various assignments, saving significant time. The platform supports diverse submission types and offers detailed feedback, helping students improve. It keeps grading consistent and aligned with my teaching standards while allowing me to review AI-recommendations before finalizing grades.

  ### 6. Streamlined Candidate Screening with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank J. | Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Staffing and Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

I use GradingPal to screen candidates efficiently, saving time in reviewing resumes and assessing matches against job requirements. It helps reduce manual reviews and makes candidate comparisons more consistent, allowing me to focus on submissions and client needs. I really like its clean, intuitive, and easy-to-navigate UI, with information presented straightforwardly, enabling quick candidate reviews without extra effort. The initial setup was pretty smooth and quick.

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

One area that could be improved is the depth of customization. It would be helpful to have more flexibility in adjusting scoring criteria based on specific client requirements and niche roles. I'd like more control over how candidates are scored for each role, such as setting custom weights for must-have skills, years of experience, industry experience, location, and certifications. The ability to have saved scoring templates for different job types and to adjust or override the score for candidates with relevant experience would be useful.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GradingPal helps me efficiently screen candidates by quickly evaluating resumes against job requirements. It reduces manual reviews, ensures consistency in candidate comparisons, and helps me identify strong profiles fast, allowing me to focus on submissions and client needs.

  ### 7. Speeds Up Marking with Clear Criteria Evidence and Customizable Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth D. | Teacher of Science, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

With lots of coursework to mark, it provides a subjective second eye over the student work. I particularly like the evidence of where criteria have been achieved, as often it spots evidence that I may have overlooked.
When it comes to past paper questions and answers my students really like the speedy feedback that it provides, they can submit questions, have me review GradingPal's feedback and get it returned to them in minutes rather than hours.
The adjustable feedback options allow me to tailor the feedback that each class gets based on their level and subject of study.

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

It has taken a little while for me to get used to setting the Rubric for some coursework, but with practice I have now got it to do what I need it to.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time, teaching mainly coursework driven classes, this has sped up my marking and feedback. I still mark the work, but it is like having internal moderation with a colleague available when I need it.

  ### 8. GradingPal Makes Handwritten Worksheet Grading Fast and Accurate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nirmal K. | Manager, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

Unlike standard text-based chatbots, GradingPal is built for the physical classroom. Its optical character recognition engine can read and grade messy handwritten worksheets, complex math steps, and scanned PDFs.

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

While the Google Classroom integration is highly praised, schools utilizing more obscure or proprietary Learning Management Systems may be forced to rely on a clunkier workflow of manually uploading batch PDFs and exporting CSV files.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It features a seamless two-way sync with Google Classroom (allowing for one-click roster and assignment imports). It also generates a class-wide analytics dashboard that highlights common learning gaps, helping teachers instantly see what topics need to be retaught.

  ### 9. GradingPal: A Teacher's Best Pal for Feedback and Differentiation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace F. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

What I love best about GradingPal is that it has cut down the amount of time I spend grading, and the feedback is immensely helpful to my students and their parents. I also love how the program helps me to differentiate subsequent lessons.

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

Something that I dislike is that there's a limit to the size of video files that can be uploaded.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GradingPal is solving problems with grading taking up too much of my time. Reading through written responses is time consuming and very tiring. It got to the point where I would be so tired that I couldn't think straight in the morning. I now have my sanity back!

  ### 10. Streamlined, Consistent Grading—Eager for Broader LMS Integration and More Personalization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bethany C. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2026

**What do you like best about GradingPal?**

I like that I can have uniformity in grading and expedite the feedback process for students.

**What do you dislike about GradingPal?**

I am excited for when it will integrate into LMS platforms beyond Google Classroom, I also wish it could do more individualized grading with personalized feedback. I like the option for a free model right now.

**What problems is GradingPal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is giving me back my time, while still providing high quality feedback and consistency to my students in a timely manner.
