"A simple improvement of MySQL"

What do you like best about MariaDB?

The price is also brilliant, that is, without dismantling. Very aware of rescue statistics. Extremely solid to apply in production structures. The exceptional factor I appreciated about MariaDB is that it became very easy to investigate and use. Additionally, the new features are usually faster for MariaDB. What do you dislike about MariaDB?

It is very difficult to discover what it is that one doesn't like about MariaDB, I suppose the reality is that it is not as scalable as its NoSQL counterparts. The scalability issues arise when the data is in a larger range of TB. This is true for a centralized database and small to medium-sized configurations. Recommendations to others considering MariaDB:

The update to MariaDB has made things much easier for me and for the students as well. Header, footer, etc. We use it as a database engine, which is found in all the famous Linux distributions for Drupal development, especially. What problems is MariaDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it for many other unique portions of the program. We use a MariaDB on our server to host a Data Warehouse. Additionally, many programs like Cloudera use MariaDB as a backend. Small applications from queries to ddbb. This has allowed us to considerably reduce the amount of massive guide improvement that occurs by splitting HTML pages with common structures. What do you like best about MariaDB?

Cluster function for wiki or WordPress, compatible with existing mysql. Most of the time I use it to serve woocommerce and it did really good. A lot of bash web server installation script may auto implement Mariadb to your server environment by default and compare to other paid DB, e.g. Oracle, it's works good enough for a blogger. It will be a good fit if you install the phpmyadmin for db control and edit.

What do you dislike about MariaDB?

Many configs to follow and some old posts on website may confusing me.

The cluster function sometimes broken due to some notes reboot/dead and it can't auto recovered. It works ok in most of the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MariaDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

In generally, I need to admin multiple Wiki and Wordpress and personal site, most of the time mariadb is still able to handle ecommerce site. Sometime you may need to use object cache to help high Database load.

What do you like best about MariaDB?

The fact that it is interrogated with the lamp server package group on the Debian install is great! I can spin up a new server in a about and hour and my customers love it! It works almost perfectly like MySQL and is very easy to backup and maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MariaDB?

is a database management system is not that it is the best but if it can be used for projects it does not weigh much but it complies with the normalities of creation of database indexation of the database modification of tables among others Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MariaDB?

This Database Management System arises as a result of the purchase of Sun Microsystems and that company was very good. I'm not against free software, but always try to broadcast to private Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

continue to improve but need more publicity is good but basic there are applications that in my case I do not need but I recommend to people who are starting in the world of programming they will work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is compatible with all versions of mysql, once you try it and very good indeed.

I solved some details that unlike mysql has some advantages direct replacement of InnoDB direct replacement of Federated and Removed by Oracle of MySQL 5.1.55 but is included in the code of MariaDB up to version 5.5 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
