The upside of NCM is configuration management, Change management and auditing, Role based access control, etc.

I appreciate its ability to automate configuration backup, compare configuration, detect changes and managing configuration across a variety of network devices. NCM was just what I was looking for. It was very easy to setup and I had all my switches imported and backed up in no time at all. I tried several other products but none were as easy to set up. I needed a windows based product based on our current environment and it fit the bill.
