# Which antivirus works best for someone who mostly does online banking and shopping and wants to know their financial details are genuinely protected?

Hey G2 community. If your day is mostly online banking and shopping, and you want real confidence that your financial details are protected, the features that matter most are safe-banking or secure-payment modes, anti-phishing, and blocking of fraudulent sites. I pulled the picks that G2 reviewers most connect to those from the Antivirus category. Here are the top tools:

ESET PROTECT (4.6 stars, 1,002 reviews) is praised for accurate, AI-driven detection that catches phishing and zero-day threats, the kind of thing that tends to precede account theft. ESET also offers dedicated banking and payment protection, though most G2 reviewers describe it from a business-fleet angle.

Kaspersky AntiVirus (4.5 stars, 95 reviews) includes Safe Money-style payment protection and a data-leak checker, and reviewers highlight accurate real-time detection on suspicious sites and files.

Webroot Business Endpoint Protection (4.5 stars, 532 reviews) leans on real-time web and identity protection across browsing, URLs, and malicious sites, which reviewers credit with keeping laptops clear of the web-borne threats that target logins.

Trend Micro Antivirus + Security (4.0 stars, 33 reviews) is the most banking-specific of the group. Reviewers call out its safe-banking features and say it's exceptional at blocking fraudulent websites, and that its Pay Guard mode is built specifically for protected shopping and banking.

For anything touching your money, pairing one of these with basic habits like a password manager and two-factor authentication goes a long way. Which safe-banking feature have you actually found useful in practice, and has a fraud-site block ever caught you before you typed a password?

The fraud-site block has been a life saver for me. It catches lookalike bank pages before the password went in, which is exactly the moment that matters. The dedicated secure-browser modes get more mixed comments: some find the isolation reassuring, others switch them off within a week because sites break. My read is that fraud-site blocking plus your own two-factor covers most of the real risk, and the fancier banking vaults are comfort features more than protection features.
